Nice authentic Trullo house

Nice house near Ostuni for a short vacation to visit nearby places like Alberobello, Castellana Grotte or Ostuni. To reach the house and nearby objects you’ll need a car. As we were at the end of March and it was unusually cold nights, the heating devices were also available in house. The house is surrounded by green and the best view you’ll have from the roof of the house.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans cette maison ! La maison est très propre et bien fournie avec la climatisation dans une des chambres ce qui a été agréable vu les températures. On a également beaucoup apprécié le fait qu’il y avait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner (huile, sel, épices…) La propriétaire et la gestionnaire ont été très gentilles et rapides dans leur réponse. Un merci particulier à Costanza qui nous a donné des adresses où acheter de l’huile et céramiques locales !

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre avis sur notre petit trullo. Costanza est une femme formidable et se met toujours en quatre pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible en vous fournissant des informations sur les sites touristiques locaux. La maison est climatisée dans les trois chambres. La climatisation des chambres à l'extrémité de la maison rafraîchit les deux pièces grâce à une télécommande fixée au mur dans le couloir. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié vos vacances dans notre maison à Ostuni. Vous et votre famille avez été d'excellents hôtes. Margie

Insgesamt gut, auch wenn die Beschreibungen und Bilder im Internet doch aus früheren Zeiten sind. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief hervorragend. Konnten schon vorher einchecken. Danke nochmals dafür.

Soggiorno a trullo Tartaruga

2 coppie 2 bimbe e un cane, nelle 2 settimane centrali di Agosto. La struttura è esattamente come nelle foto, abbiamo passato 2 settimane godendoci a pieno questo bellissimo trullo. -piscina e grandi spazi all’aperto ci hanno permesso di goderci la vacanza -casa molto pulita e organizzata, arredata in modo molto gradevole A pochi minuti di macchina (circa 10) da Ostuni e ancora meno da carovigno. Costanza, il contatto di riferimento per qualunque cosa è sempre stata molto disponibile, ma noi non abbiamo avuto bisogno di contattare quasi mai perché tutto è proceduto perfettamente. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

Finalmente un po di tranquillità.

Bella proprietà nella campagna pugliese tra Ostuni e Carovigno,. Il mare dista una decina di Km e alterna scogliere e spiagge sabbiose. Ai tempi del covid abbiamo abbondantemente apprezzato anche l'ampia ed invitante piscina, dotata di 6 comodi lettini prendisole ed un utile ombrellone, che ci ha consentito di rilassarci con privacy ed isolamento. Le dotazioni della villa sono complete, non manca nulla, si nota che viene usata anche dai proprietari. Complete ed esaurienti anche le indicazioni che i proprietari ci hanno rilasciato per sfruttare al meglio la nostra permanenza. Un grazie anche a Costanza e David per l'allestimento e pulizia della villa e il supporto fornito.

Quaint rural villa

a well appointed "Trulli" villa in a very rural setting. The furnishings and cooking facilities were spot on. The owner is very friendly and contactable. She accommodated us at very short notice when our hotel was a bit dissapointing. The pool could do with a bit of TLC but other than that the whole place is great.

Thank you Vinny for your review we appreciate guests taking the time to review our villa We have updated many of the indoorand outdoor furniture this year , we are pleased that you thought they were 'spot on " we try our best to provide a clean comfortable villa with all the necessary cooking facilities. We are 6-8 minutes from Ostuni with the local supermarket just before Ostuni with everthing you could need , including essential easy parking The beaches are a short distance away by car. Tarataruga is in the perfect position for sightseeing and visiting many of the fantastic restaurants and bars in the region I am happy that we were able to assist you at such short notice ( 2 days) Our aim is to be as responsive as possible to the needs of our guests. I am sorry to hear that you felt the pool required some TLC. Unfortunately the pool may not have beem up to its usual standard due to such short notice and that our manager would do his very best as he always does to have it ready for you. I mentioned if that was OK with you ,then you were welcome to stay I believe in being open and honest with guests. Feedback this year was that the pool was a fantastic, spotless pool and that no one would be disappointed with it. Thank you for commenting that the whole place was great. We hope you enjoyed visiting Puglia Its certainly a great place to holiday. Hope you will come again as there is much to see . Ciao Lucy

Io e miei figli abbiamo soggiornato una settimana casa e fantastica bisogna tener presente che si è in campagna .. piscina fantastica con tanti lettini a disposizione .. unica accortezza dovrebbero sostituire il soffione della doccia interna forse qualche gocciolina d acqua in più arriverebbe .. 10 minuti circa da Ostuni Vacanza fantastica Grazie David e Costanza sempre a disposizione senza mai esser di intralcio All arrico frigorifero con tutte le prime necessità che dire da ripetere

Yes Ostuni is fantastic and our villa is in a perfect place to take advantage of sight seeing in and around the many beautiful towns of the region Being less than 10 minutes to Ostuni and 12 minutes to the beach Alberobello and Polignano a Mare both being only 40 minutes away. David and Costanza do a magnificent job keeping the villa spotless and the pool sparkling clean.they are never intrusive and always ready to assist in any way they can Having 3 separate bedrooms with sleeping capacity for 6 and a divan ensures privacy and that there is never a feeling of being cramped . I hope you enjoyed the provisions thoughtfully placed in the fridge by Costanza to start your vacation Thank you for your mention of the shower head which we will replace .David will always replace or repair anything needing attention. he just needs to be made aware. Villa entre viñedos

Hemos disfrutado de la villa, la casa está muy bien equipada, tiene muchos detalles que hacen agradable la estancia como una piscina muy limpia, con buenas tumbonas, parasol, barbacoa, toallas de playa, sombra , árboles,... muy tranquilo sin ruidos. La cocina con todo lo necesario incluso para largas estancias... ropa de cama y toallas buenas y buen Sofá..Ostuni es un pueblo bonito y bien situado para conocer La Puglia si dispones de coche. Muy recomendable, Gracias a Margaret y a Constanza y David que se ocupan de que en la casa todo esté en orden. Saludos desde Bilbao Agosto 19

We have tried to make Tartaruga a tranquil and relaxing vacation home where guests can stay to , refresh and renew themselves .During the last few months many improvements and updates have been made to the home as well as new furnishings some of which you have mentioned , the divan, garden furniture and quality towels.Ostuni is perfectly placed for travelling around Puglia,the villa is situated midway between Ostuni and Carovigno with many gourmet restaurants and economical places to eat in both towns. Thank you f or your much appreciated comments about the sparkling clean pool and villa, Costanza and David take pride in everything they do . Needs a little revamp.

The website photos need updating as the sun beds etc in the photos are not what's there - 2 of the sun beds and 1 parasol were broken. Only 1 bedroom has air conditioning, no other area in the property does ( not specified in the details) and we could not find a toaster. Also think a dishwasher is required in a holiday home. The cupboards and drawers smelled a little musty. The whole place just needs a little freshen up.

Thank you for your review there is only one air conditioner in the main bedroom fans in rest of house as per the add There is a new microwave and toaster in the villa . New sun lounges and umbrellas were ordered I did not realise that they had not arrived

Au calme et prés d'Ostuni

Cette villa est au calme, l'endroit est paisible mais il faudrait faire quelque chose contre les moustiques car nous n'avons pas pu déjeuner dehors. Les moustiques sont présents tout au long de la journée ! Et les nombreuses prises anti-moustiques n'ont rien changé! A l’intérieur de la villa les chambres sont assez grandes pour y passer la nuit et l'une d'entre elle possède la climatisation c’était très agréable (dommage pour les 2 autres chambres qui n'en possèdent pas) La salle de bain intérieur possède une douche un peu étroite avec un flexible de douche très vétuste et la salle de bain qui se trouve à l’extérieur possède une baignoire mais le flexible de celle-ci est inutilisable , il faut absolument le changer. La villa ne possède pas de micro ondes...nous sommes en 2018 ! l'investissement dans un micro-ondes n'est pas une dépense très onéreuse! Il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle non plus, pas de WIFI et pas de cafetière non plus... Dave et Costanza qui se sont occupés de notre installation sont très à l’écoute, gentil et très réactif. de plus, à notre arrivée il nous avait laissé plusieurs boissons rafraîchissante dans le frigo (encore merci à eux) La piscine est propre et l'entretien était fait chaque semaine sérieusement. Certain bain de soleil autour de la piscine demande aussi à être changé car certain d'entre eux sont abîmés. Voilà en résumé la présentation de la villa qui pourrait être plus agréable à vivre avec du matériel moins vétuste (je vous passe le petit balai ainsi que la serpillière et le saut qui étaient à notre service pour faire le ménage eux aussi demandent à être changé) Le montant du prix vis à vis de la prestation et des environs m'ont un peu déçu. Au vu des photos je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux...

Trullo Tartaruga is made from local stone which allows the interior to be kept cool through the warm summer days. Trullo Tataruga can be found towards the end of a country lane surrounded by traditional small scale, olive and almond farmers. you will be holidaying in the Italian countryside, whilst being very close to the magical white city of Ostuni and the marvellous uncrowded beaches of the Puglia region. Peace quiet and relaxation is awaiting at Trullo Tartaruga, whilst all aspects of modern living on your doorstep.Welcome to the very lovely area of Puglia and Trullo Tartaruga We know you will enjoy your stay If you would like to discuss the Trullo further Then feel free to contact me through enquiries Our Trullo has its own private swimming pool which is not overlooked and is set in its own grounds. With mature olive, almond and fruit trees.There is a BBQ near the patio which in turn overlooks the pool . This is a lovely social area, perfect on those summer evenings spent enjoying the great local beverage, while dinner is cooking on the BBQ. The pool is 30ft x10ft long, with the deep end being 6ft and the shallow being only 3ft deep , there is an underwater ridge around the pool to make it easier to exit from any side.. There are two roof terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside ideal for enjoying an evening drink while watching the sun go down (guests use the terraces at their own risk). Utility Room: There is a washing machine in the second bathroom. Cleaning/Towels/Linen: Bath Towels and bed linen are supplied, please note Beach towels are provided. Our housekeeper, Connie ensures that a full and thorough clean is carried out between guests. David looks after the pool and ensures it is cleaned twice weekly. Other: All bedrooms are private, much of the property is open plan and centred around the domed central lounge room. The covered veranda leads off the kitchen, making alfresco dining very easy on warm evenings
