You want to spend your holidays in quiet and private surrounding but with fun and life if you wish? So Trulli Collina della Pace near Ostuni is your ideal holiday home. Here you spend a holiday as you wish. 15.000 sqm of olive grove, mandolia and figa form the nice surrounding for the private pool and terrasses for outside summer living at the trulli. Plenty very old olive trees grow on the property as well as mandolia trees and figa.

There is more than 100 meters distance to next neighours. The generous outside paths and terrasses offer you many sun and shadow places to chill, relax and recover. Here you can forget time and enjoy the day.

The Trulli is completely renovated inside and outside. You will feel comfortable in the wonderful natural stone surrounding which has a electrical floor heating system for the cooler time of the year.


The little public street ends as cul de sac at the property and is only used by the few other surrounding neighbours. The driveway up to the trulli is private. The soft climbing driveway (90 meters) leads you to your holiday paradise with maximum privacy in absolutely quiet and rural location.

You want more social life? Then Ostuni is only a few minutes away by car. Here you can enjoy Italian street life while nipping your Cappuchino in one of the many cafes. Nice shops and the picturesque old centre invite for a walk. In the evening you have the choice between plenty Bars, Lounges and Restaurants of different styles.
You want beach life? Then the ocean is 8 km near.

When you enter Trulli Collina della Pace you stand right in the big central cone where the dining/kitchen table is located and the kitchen which is located in one of its corners. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceran glass cooking field, dishwasher and small electrical oven. Two smaller cones one on each side create an alcoven where you find a double queen sized faciliy on one side and a single matresse on the other. Both can be used as well as sofa/lounge for chilling.
Further on you pass through another cone which creates a corridor and gives you way to either the bathroom the Master bedroom with a King Size double bed or and additional other smaller room hosting a sofa bed.

Through the corridor you as well exit the house to the terrasses to its back side. Here you find a wooden roofed veranda with BBQ, and outside kitchen.

Rustic little Trulli, really is a lovely place to stay. It's not a 5* hotel, but that's not what you're looking for when you stay here. The building is beautiful, quirky and cosy but ideal as a base to stay. There's no air con so you need to be happy with fans. The trulli is well equipped and the pool is gorgeous. Be warned though, its very deep at one end so be mindful of little ones. Steffan was a lovely host and very communicative and helpful. Would recommend anytime.

Hello C. many thanks for your time to leave a comment. You wrote when leaving that you had a beautiful holiday and so sounds as well your comment. Yes the pool at its far end is deep enough to jump and dive in the water or make a bomb without hitting the ground and our guests enjoy its depth. Of course, we advise always that children should be watched as already a pool with 120 cm depth or less would not be safe for smaller kids. We have one third of the pool with a depth of 125 cm which allows swimming but as well playing if kids are a bit elder. The other parts are deeper so everybody can have fun. The house is without air condition and so it is clearly advertised. This is reflected in a more economic pricing as well. I do not fully understand your comment on the missing AC but if you were appreciating one then better book a house with AC. The house is not 5 star hotel, sure, but a well-equipped holiday home rent out on a convenient priced level with a 24h assistance, 3 times weekly pool and rubbish collection service and obviously nice cleaning, good equipment, maintenance and services. There weres no critics on this at all. It is very much a pity that for those things which you mentioned although you were very lucky with the house you deducted a star for the rating. Wonderful Trulli - very peaceful and quiet. The two bedrooms were cool and functional and you have all the basic kitchen amenities you need to be self sufficient. The Trulli can be quite small, with low ceilings in places so you have to watch your head if you're 6ft like me but thankfully no concussions or head injuries occurred! Lovely outdoor sitting area with sink and hob attached to gas for outdoor cooking. The pool was fantastic with three tier depts so perfect if you have different ages/swimmers in the family - plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Two outdoor showers were great and we used them more than the indoor one due to the heat - only one toilet, which didn't bother us but may be an issue if you have a bigger family/group. Lots of wildlife (butterflies, lizards, geckos.) With peace and isolation comes distance so you are about 15mins from Ostuni and the nearest Familial supermarket but no problem if you have transport - nothing walkable. Steffen's communication was helpful, clear, friendly and prompt and nothing was too much trouble - we loved our stay here :)

Thank you for your comments/review. We appreciate very much that you enjoyed your holiday in our authentic trulli with its high ceilings but partly low doors and passages under arches. We thank you for selecting our Trulli Collina della Pace for your vacation and are happy that you managed well driving with you scooter the partly bumpy road and took good care of some bigger pot wholes which are not a problem for a car but might be for a scooter. So slow and careful driving is suggested. With a car you should not need more than 10 min. to Ostuni center. Now we know that we can confirm to guests that the access is feasible with a scooter. Wir können das Trulli sehr empfehlen. Den großen Pool und die Außenküche haben wir viel genutzt. Bis zu vier Personen finden Platz im Trulli.

Vielen Dank für die positive Bewertung. In der Tat werden der Aussenbereich mit dem schönen Pool und die Aussenküche mit BBQ gerade in den Sommermonaten sehr gerne genutzt und von unseren Gästen geschätzt. Sie waren mit 4 Personen (Eltern und 2 Jugendliche) im Trulli Collina della Pace und konnten sich so sehr bequem verteilen. Das Haus verfügt über ein großes Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer mit 1,80 m Breite und etwas Überlänge 2,10 m. Ferner gibt es ein kleines Zimmerchen mit Doppelschlafsofa 1,60 m mal 2,0 m. Im allgemeinen Küchen- und Wohnbereich unter der Trullikuppel gibt es noch einen Alkoven mit einer bequemen Matratze 1,6 m mal 1,9 m und im Alkoven auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite eine Einzelbettmatratze, die auch als gemütliche Sofaecke genutzt werden kann. Es freut mich, dass Sie sich auf diese Weise großzügig im Haus verteilen konnten. Das Haus wird auch hin und wieder von mehr Personen frequentiert, wobei alle 6-7 Schlafplätze genutzt werden.

Tres bon sejour dans un cadre agreable

Propriété de caractère. Belle et agreable piscine. Convenait tres bien pour notre composition familiale de 2 adultes et 3 enfants de 12, 9 et 3. Seul bemol: des équipements pas toujours a la hauteur.

Dear Paul-Etienne, we are checking our equpment every season. So last spring for example we replaced 4 of the 6 sunchairs and outside dining table and seats. Since I was surprised a bit by your comment my administrator told me that you criticized that two inside kitchen chairs to be unusable because nearly or already broken. We do not understand how these two chairs could be damaged so heavily and it must have happended in the rental shortly before your stay. As well it was not remarked by our cleaning lady. Of course such things should be rapidly replaced. We thank you for the overall positive rating and are happy that you enjoyed the services provided by my local administrator as the very late check in at one o´clock in the nigth. Wunderbare Zeit

Unsere Zeit im Trulli war wirklich fabelhaft. Die Ausstattung sowohl drinnen als auch draußen war super und Angelo hat uns (auch nachts) in jeder Lage geholfen. Das Haus ist nicht weit entfernt von Ostuni, ein Auto ist allerdings trotzdem dringend erforderlich (auch den Standpunkt sollte man auf Google Maps speichern, da das Navi die Adresse an einen anderen Ort platziert) Die Lage hat aber dennoch - oder gerade deswegen - ihren Charme :) Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub, ein Haus zum Staunen und Wohlfühlen, ein kleines Paradies nur für uns ganz allein - jeder Zeit wieder :)

Super Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir hatten noch nie ein so picobello sauberes Ferienhaus! Bequeme Betten, sehr gute Küchenausstattung, gute Handtücher, alles top! Lage auch super, man ist schnell in der schönen Stadt Ostuni, am Strand oder den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Amazing property hope to come back again.

We stayed here in September. It was a fantastic place really unique. It really felt like your own little paradise away from the rest of the world, even though the closest town and shops were not too far away. The house was very cute, full of character and the swimming pool was just perfect - it was actually a great sized pool. We spent almost every evening using the BBQ facilities outside - we didn't really feel the need to leave the place, but when we did the beaches were not far away. Both the owner and the housekeeper were really helpful and the checkin/checkout was simple (this included being met in town and driven to the property to ensure guests dont get lost). We hope to visit again next year a splendid place.

Thanks for your positive guest comment. It is nice to read that you have the same feelings as when we ourselves spend our holidays there. The beaches are in easy reach but the pool, the splendid environment, privacy and the outside kitchen and BBQ allow to pass all day long there. You do not really want to leave the place for sightseeing but if so several cities and the nice city Ostuni is indeed near enough for dining and shopping. I will pass your positive feedback as well to our housekeeper/poolman who is assisting the visitors whenever neccessary and caring for a warm welcome.

Sehr schön gestaltete Aussenanlage, für die kühlere Jahreszeit (insbesondere abends) weniger geeignet; draussen sitzen/essen war nicht mehr möglich. Dusche überschwemmt Hausflur (entsprechende Information wäre zwingend nötig).

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Für die kühlere Jahreszeit ist das Haus mit einer Fußbodenheizung versehen, was in der Region nicht üblich. So kann man es sich drinnen gemütlich machen. Auch bei schönem Wetter werden die Abende im Laufe des Oktober nach Sonnenuntergang natürlich kühl. Bezüglich der Probleme mit dem Bodenablauf der bodenebenen Dusche hätte eine kurze Information an unseren Hausmeister Angelo gereicht, der jederzeit verfügbar ist und den Abfluss gereinigt hätte. Wir hoffen, dass Sie ansonsten einen schönen Urlaub hatten.

A lovely stay here. Trullo quite rustic but very comfortable. Quiet location with plenty of wildlife. Close to Ostuni and the sea which is lovely.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Quiet and rural but chilling and good regeneration.
For drinking, eating and dancing Ostuni is in easy reach. As well there are nice Lidos at the several beaches which have good offers in the summer evenings.
Who loves the ocean has a great number of nice beaches to select and in easy reach in 15-20 minutes.
