Everything was perfect

Carmen waited for us at the appartment when we arrived and told us everything we need to know for our stay, how we get to all the city attractions etc. Really a great and lovely host.

Great apartment and host

Carmen was a great host with clear and prompt communication. We appreciated the amenities and the terrace was the perfect spot for relaxing after a long of sightseeing and we ate all of our meals there.

Great stay!

Carmen was an absolute joy! She is a top shelf hostess! She showed us all of the instructions for the property and made sure we were comfortable. Her knowledge of València was amazing and she departed her wisdom upon us. The property is very clean. The size and accommodations are as advertised. Also the property has a large first aide kit and emergency instructions right at the front door. Again Carmen set the tone for an outstanding stay.

It was very clean and comfortable. A wonderful large patio to enjoy. Property managers very helpful and engaging. Very close to grocery store, shops, and restaurants. A good place to stay.

Fully stocked condo close to old town Valencia

Large two bedroom/two bathroom condo in a secure building within easy walking distance of old town Valencia. Extremely well stocked and clean unit. Carmen was a delight who communicated well, taking an interest in our visit, offering many helpful suggestions.

Great experience

We stayed in Carmen’s apartment while visiting Valencia. Carmen could not have been nicer and was a huge help. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and had the best outdoor seating area where we enjoyed our meals. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay in Valencia

After a short walk from the train station, we were met at the apartment by Carmen, who is a wonderful host. Her apartment very clean and is furnished with ample towels, cooking essentials (including olive oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, and sugar), and plenty of TP and detergent for dishes and laundry. We walked most places (the lively Ruzafa neighborhood is right across the tracks) and took the metro from the Jesus stop when going greater distances in Valencia. We highly recommend the apartment.

Outstanding property & host

Carmen our host communicated constantly and very quickly. The multiple suggestions to enhance our visit were a fantastic addition to our total Valencia visit. As a premium host Carmen tops the list. In addition the apartment was in easy walking distance to many of the key areas of the city.

Perfect Home Away From Home

Absolutely the best experience we could have imagined. Starting with our Host, Carmen.She met us at Check in and showed us her beautiful apartment. Such attention to detail.She was the perfect host. Apartment is easy access to restaurants , pharmacies and grocery stores. Easy walk to metro and train station. Hope to come back soon to beautiful Valencia.

Wonderful Week in Valencia

Our family enjoyed a perfect week at this property. It was plenty spacious for our family of 4, with a well-stocked kitchen. The terrace was bright and felt very private. The neighborhood is safe and comfortable, with access to everything you would need. It is an ideal location from which to explore both Russafa and the Old City, and the short walk to both the train station and metro made it easy to get anywhere in Valencia in less than 30 minutes. Carmen was a great host who provided helpful recommendations and was quick to respond to communications. We look forward to returning in the near future.

The flat is well equipped, has plenty of room and, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms can accommodate a friend or relative as well as immediate family, which could be useful. It is well sited, close to a Metro station and the Ave station. Also, it does not face the road so it is very quiet for a city centre location. We were there in December so we did not use the large terrace but it must be great in the summer months. Perhaps the flat's greatest asset is Carmen, who owns it and is so helpful and simpatico. We shall be returning to Valencia for further visits and this flat would be our first choice if it is available.

Ideal holiday accommodation

My wife and I spent nearly 3 weeks in this apartment whilst we enjoyed the delights of Valencia. Carmen was a very attentive host. She was there to check us in and give us information about the apartment and she responded quickly to any queries and requests (including booking a taxi for us when we left). The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. The terrace is quite large with appropriate furniture and has plenty of shade. There is a supermarket round the corner from the apartment. Bus and metro stops are close by which makes getting around the city very easy. All in all we thought the apartment was an excellent base for a holiday in Valencia.

Valencia city trip

Carmen, our host was very helpful and informative about local transport, restaurants and places of interest. The property was very clean with comfy beds and an outdoor patio area. We enjoyed living like the locals and did a lot of walking to the various quarters. Taxis are reasonable and easy to hail. The location is at least a 35/40 minute walk into the old quarter and probably unsuitable for those with mobility issues. There is a lift for those unable to walk up one flight of stairs. We are a leisurely Kate lunch and snacked in the evening from the supermarket downstairs. Thank you Carmen, it was lovely to meet you, Lesley and Pauline.

Superb Host

Carmen was a brilliant host very easy to contact. Sending lots of information about Valencia prior to us arriving. The apartment is a good size with a very spacious sun terrace and very well equipped. It is set in very quiet area with a Mercadona situated around the corner to the apartment entrance. The apartment is about a 30 minute flat walk into the historic area. Carmen met us to check us in then explained with maps about how to get about and where to visit. Definitely would recommend staying here. Loved Valencia Consider visiting the Oceanographic around€33 then you can walk along the old river bed now a park to the historic area. We found “ FreeNow “ app very useful for getting to and from the Airport you have a better idea of the cost ( there was 4 of us) €22

Fantastic host

The host was extremely responsive and provided lots of useful information. The apartment itself was very good except no air conditioning in the bedrooms, only one unit in the entire apartment out in the living quarters. She provided a bottle of water in the fridge, lots of espresso pods, towels, etc. The terrace was large and mostly covered. The location was very close to old central Valencia. However the neighborhood looked very run down lots of graffiti. That said, we never felt unsafe. We saw young women and teens walking by themselves. Seemed very safe just appearance was not great. Parking was a hassle too-- recommended using public transportation, taxi, or walking.

A Perfect Stay in Valencia

We had the most delightful stay at Carmen’s place. One of the best experiences amongst VRBO stays. HOST: Carmen is the most gracious and welcoming host. Excellent communications post booking and pre-arrival. We started receiving links to Valencia’s attractions and things to do a week prior. Carmen met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough walk through of the place, plus restaurant recommendations and tips on public transportation. She is always just one text away to answer questions. APARTMENT: Immaculately clean with a fully equipped kitchen, very well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms and comfortable living room. Terrace is a delight for early morning coffee and evening cocktails and dinner. The overall feel is that of having the pleasure of staying at a friend’s place while visiting Valencia. LOCATION: Excellent. An easy 8-minute walk from the train station. There is a big supermarket around the corner, and good restaurants nearby. Metro and bus stops are a 5-minute walk. Highly recommend for anyone considering visiting Valencia. We most definitely look forward to returning to Valencia and visiting Carmen again.

Your best option in Valencia!

I stumbled upon this listing arranging a last minute stay in Valencia.....and I am so glad I did. If you are thinking of this listing, BOOK IT! There's no reason to look anywhere else. First, Carmen, the host, was amazing from the minute I booked her apartment for the week. She was always responsive and provided excellent recommendations and advice. She is a great ambassador for Valencia! She met me at the apartment and went through everything I would need to know...she even had a transport card to get me on the bus and underground immediately. For the apartment, the location is second to none. Walkable to the TGV train station and less than 3 blocks to a main bus line and subway station. The location is excellent and easy to get anywhere in Valencia quickly and in less than one transfer - by bus or subway. The bus to Mercado Central is a 2 minute walk! The apartment itself is a gem - 2 bdrm, 2 bath, it has everything you will need. Not like other VRBOs that have 3 spoons, two dishes and a few glasses - the kitchen has more than everything you will need to make delicious meals at "home." In fact there is a great grocery store right downstairs as well. The terrace is a wonderful bonus, I had coffee out there every day. The WiFi is very fast. All in all this was a 6 Star accommodation and experience that I would wholly recommend to anyone who is traveling to Valencia - whether for a few days or a week or more. Again, look no further than this Urban Oasis with Terrace gem!!

A la découverte de Valence

Carmen, la propriétaire a été très disponible pour la préparation de notre séjour. Accueil très chaleureux avec de nombreux conseils pour faciliter nos déplacements et nos visites. L'appartement est calme, confortable et bien équipé. La 2ème salle de bains est un vrai plus. La terrasse doit être très agréable aux beaux jours. Il est bien situé, proche du centre ville, à proximité d'une station de métro et d'un supermarché. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.
