First of all, We are sorry you had a problem with Israel, from Orkin. To be clear, we do not schedule the times that pest control comes to spray. It is arranged through the complex & the management company. They come every other month & spray for only about 5 mins. They spray more frequently around the exterior of the buildings. Orkin is authorized to come in to spray if no one answers the door. If we told them not to spray when we have guests staying it would not get done, as spring & summer is the busy time. Since the second bedroom is close to the main door, It would seem that one of your three children would have told you someone was at the door. We had just left to go back north after spending 6 mos. there. I suspect that the Orkin man may have seen our 2 vehicles were not there & you were the first guests right after we left. I also have to say that Israel, the Orkin man, is an older gentleman who we have known ever since we started to rent 10 yrs ago. He would never hurt anyone let alone take one of your children. He did leave when you asked him to. In the 10 yrs we have been renting, we have never had a problem nor has any guest complained. Unfortunately, in your case it wasn‘t a good time as you were napping. We apologize for any inconvenience. We do keep a fan in the closet & the AC can be set as low as you like. You can plug any device into the back of the TVs if you want to watch something other than basic cable which offers about 250 chanels. We’re happy there was so many aspects of your stay that you did like. One other thing i should mention is that the bathtub was badly stained from some type of hair dye or bronzer. Our cleaning lady found a dish towel that was covered with a brown substance. It appeared that it was used to try to clean up the tub? My cleaning lady spent a great deal of time trying to remove the stains. We contacted a company to come to reglaze or do something to the tub. However, our cleaning lady is excellent & she worked on it until the stains were barely visible & sent us pics of everything.
