Great rental!

I have rented several times from the drivers. Each time I different rental all pet friendly clean comfortable and conveniently located. I would highly recommend this rental and the others drivers . Not only are the comfortable for my husband for our two dogs as well nicely fence backyard clean and secure. Christy was easy to contact and always responded quickly to any text or email. My husband and I stay in a lot of VRBO rentals and bees by far are the easiest to get settled into coated Dorla security light overall just really great experience.

Clean and easy!

We requested (last minute) to check in the same day as booking, which is sometimes tough! The owners responded very quickly to my inquiry and allowed us to check in that day! The house was very clean and had everything you might need in the kitchen! We slept in the master with a king bed. I believe the mattress was newer but was just a bit soft for us…definitely not a game changer for sure!!!! Would totally stay again!!!

Fun in Fruita

We loved our stay at Velo House. We enjoyed the huge master bedroom and the large kitchen. The only thing I would change is to have new kitchen measuring cups - the sizes were worn off the current ones. Other than that, we had everything we needed!

Overall property was in a great location, was clean and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The upfront communication was good and check in procedures easy to follow. Only issue was the number of flies in the house. It was so bad we had to but fly spray. Think they came from the garage but not sure. At one point we counted over 50 flies in the kitchen/dining area alone.

We arrived on Friday afternoon for a two day cycling and hiking weekend. The home was beautiful, spacious , impeccably clean with everything we could possibly need to accommodate our stay. Thank you Kristi and Mike for the lovely welcome basket, which was a lovely touch. We would highly recommended your home to friends and would love to stay there again in the near future..

This house is lovely! Everything as advertised and the Drivers are super friendly and easy to work with. The house is in a wonderful location as we love Fruita. We are repeat customers and will always rent here if we can!

Great house in a beautiful area.

We spent the weekend in Fruita at Kristy and Mike's rental. The house was perfect for our stay and was dog friendly. There's so much to do in/around Fruita and Grand Junction. We didn't spend much time in the house, but it was so nice coming back to a clean and inviting home after a long day of hiking and mountain biking. It was one of the best houses we've ever rented. Thank you Kristy and Mike for making it so welcoming and relaxing. We loved our stay and will be back!

It's what a VRBO should be! Kristy & Mike have raised the bar to EXCELLENT!!

If you have ever stayed in a VRBO before and more importantly, if you own a VRBO yourself... you can appreciate and/or need to understand how important the whole entire process from the very start to end actually is!!.... It starts the moment you book a VRBO, to entering the unit (which was a breeze), to the simplicity & ease of use of everything, the cleanliness, the comfort of a good night sleep in 5 star beds & quality linen, the warm welcoming feeling of coming home to a "home" every evening, the ease & access of cookware, garage door openers, satellite TV, towels & toiletries, extra bedding & pillows, etc... Even the welcome basket was special! (I'm sure I've left out tons of details but...) All this made this specific VRBO a No-Brainer and a very very comfortable stay from start to finish and everything in-between was wonderful! By personal choice, we never even said boo to the owners yet they were so complete in their welcome email, their presentation/instructions, and details that we felt like they were holding our hand all the way in. We could tell if we needed anything (which we didn't) they'd help right away. I predict places like Kristy & Mike's will be putting the local hotels out of business very soon because coming from a huge VRBO traveler; ... Kristy & Mike "Get It" Good Job, Way-To-Go, & Thank You for a Five Star Stay!!

What a great place. We come to the Grand Junction often and usually stay ina Hilton. Never again! This was perfect for my week of baking for a wedding as well as my husbands bike rides. When I had a technical issue with the TV they had help there within 30 min! Very clean and well supplied for everything anyone would need!

Everything you need and more in a super nice home!

What a beautiful property and very nice owners! Location was perfect and the home is lovely! Very safe cute neighborhood! Sat in the mornings on the back patio with a nice cup of tea watching the sun rise. Even cooked several meals in that nice kitchen- it is so we’ll equipped that it was a snap to jump right in to cook. Bedrooms are spacious and have very good beds-whole house beautifully decorated! Truly a gem of a find on Colorado’s eastern slope. Made discovering Fruita and Grand Junction so much fun!

The house is very nice and well-cared for.

It was clean and well kept. It would have been nice to have the use of the other bathroom, without having to call someone. If one of us was sleeping in of course this woke them, minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience. We did clean up other dogs messes before letting ours out. The can and poop scooper outside is a great idea. Our dogs enjoyed having a yard to go out to.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fruita and this was a great home base for our mountain biking weekend! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The fenced in backyard was nice for our 2 year old to explore and run around. We would definitely stay again!

Pictures don’t give this home justice. Much bigger than the pictures show. Wonderful yard for my dog. Cooked 4 dinners. I had everything I needed. Shower has fast hot water. Only complaint was the very hard bed pillows! Loved the huge TV. When in town we will rent again.

We like the location because of the quiet neighborhood and great private backyard. The kitchen is huge and wonderful for cooking big meals with friends. We love to use the the bike path that runs right next to the home. The interior of the home is a single story and has an open feel. The Master Bedroom/Bathroom is enormous. The kitchen flows to the living, dining and patio areas nicely. The outdoor patio faces north and great for sitting and relaxing on hot afternoons.
