I would have given it 5 stars if not for the living room furniture that was not in the best of shape. However I do see from the picture posted showing the living room the furniture has been replaced.Other than that a fabulous experience and will be back.

Great place! Great location!

My family and I had a great vacation in this beautiful home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The furniture and beds are so comfortable. Loved the large TVs in every room. You can walk to the pool or Baytowne. Getting to the beach was an easy ride using the golf cart. We will definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation Fun!

We have stayed in Villa Lago several times but this was a new home for us and we loved everything about it, perfect for our party of 10. The kids room was the best we have had, even with their own bathroom. All the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels, great laundry room. We were all able to explore the resort on the golf carts. We will definitely try and secure this one again next year!

Great place

The property is wonderful. Our only complaint was the owner did it provide the basics like paper towels trash bags dishwasher soap etc for the time we were there. You would think those small necessities would be provided in an upscale property such as this.

The property was awesome. We had a large group and was disappointed that the advertisement said two golf carts but only had one.. waiting on reimbursement. Enjoyed the area and the place was majestic to the eye.

Tony, we are genuinely sorry that one of the carts ended up not being available. We know many guests book units based on the availability of two carts, so it's frustrating for all when something happens and a cart is out of working order. We appreciate your understanding even though you were disappointed. Your refund is in process; it takes 3-5 business days, but we are happy to reimburse you for the golf cart that wasn't available. We hope that despite this setback had a great time (thank you for telling us you felt the property was awesome--we agree!) and that you all made lots of great memories together!

great rental

I stayed here for a little over a week with my family (husband, 2.5 year old, 4 year old and my mother). It was exactly as pictured/described, very clean and perfect for our vacation. Having been to the Sandestin resort many times I knew exactly where this was located in relationship to the village activities and the beach. The golf carts were great for accessing the resort as well as running to the grocery store or starbucks! Only mild complaint is that the pool is not heated. *most of the pools aren't so I can't really complain but since I asked before booking and got no answer, I'll leave that tidbit here for inquiring minds!

Baytown Loop

Very spacious home. Perfect for family. Clean. A few things were broken like headlights on golf cart, dinning room chair, and towel rack in one of the bathrooms. If you book and stay longer than 3 days bring garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, and dishsoap, they only provide enough for 2 days. Watch the parking, they are serious about not parking on the grass, we were fined $100 for a front tire on the grass before we realized and could fix,

The house was pristine, spacious and everyone had their own private space. The two golf carts were so helpful in getting us around. We loved the two pools, and the entire area. While it's not on the beach, it's a very short distance, and we like it that way! We will definitely come back.

Overall great experience

The house was great and location was awesome. We were told we would have 2 golf carts and only had 1 the entire trip. This became a huge issue for us for we were there for work and pleasure. My family had to Uber to places so made things difficult. Next time would like to know that prior to arrival so we could have taken another car. Overall good experience just felt we paid for location with 2 carts and only had 1.

When we know in advance of your stay there will be an issue, we call you right away, so you can prepare and make any changes or decisions you'd like. Golf Carts Not Guaranteed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this house especially because it advertised 2 golf carts. We had one that had no turn signal and could not go faster than 16 MPH. My advice, don't count on the golf carts as transportation. Other than that the house was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

We're glad you enjoyed our home and found it clean and comfortable! Regarding the golf carts, they are regulated to a maximum speed of 15-20 MPH as per HOA rules in Sandestin for safety. We hope to welcome you back for an even better experience!

Fun For All - Fabulous Stayll!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is extremely nice!! Don't hesitate to book it!! A 5-bedroom 5-bathroom home was hard to find during the week we chose, but we lucked upon this place and truly enjoyed our stay! The beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in any vacation home we've rented. The location is extremely close to several beaches which is a plus!! One of the golf carts was in the shop being repaired, so we unfortunately only had one to use, but that didn't slow us down. There's the Tram you can use for transportation and lots to do in walking distance. The pool is only a 2-minute walk from the home!! The furniture is so comfortable and the bathroom in the Master Suite is so luxurious. We will definitely book this home and neighborhood again for our next beach vacation!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is a great place to stay for the family! The accommodations are very nice, and the kitchen is stocked with several appliances that are not routinely found in most rental properties. A few suggestions about the golf carts: 1) The carts, especially the white one, needs to be upgraded to adhere to guidelines posted (i.e., seat belts, turn signals, etc.). 2) Even though the information stated that you can charge one cart at a time, the garage door needs to be raised whether one or both carts are being charged since the carbon monoxide alarm still went off with just one being charged at a time.

Sandestin House Rental

The house was great. Very spacious and well maintained. It was very well furnished and provided all of the supplies we needed. The golf carts were a great benefit. However we did have one scary incident. We were awakened at 3:15 am by the alarm system warning us that there was carbon monoxide in the house. I dialed 911 and they sent the fire department. They said there were high levels of hydrogen gas. The gas came from the golf carts charging in the garage. Although the house rules say keep the carts charging whenever they’re not being used the fire department says don’t charge them overnight unless you leave the garage up. The management company did say they would update the procedure regarding charging the golf carts. Outside of that incident we loved the house. We would definitely rent it again.

Perfect property for a group of friends!

The property was exactly as advertised and we had a great time! The beds & furniture were comfortable and met our needs for the 5 couples staying there for the weekend. My only complaints are the hot water heater really needs to be upgraded so that there is enough hot water for the amount of people that stay there. A tankless water heater would be much better as several of us had to take cold showers. Secondly, the yellow golf cart desperately needs new breaks. I tried several ways to report it to the rental company through the app and responded to a direct text with no response. Therefore, we only had use of one of the golf carts for 10 people. We love this area because of the golf cart friendly location to local shops and restaurants so this was a disappointment. Finally, the ice maker did not work at all. Overall, this is a beautiful property and with the few improvements listed above, we would definitely stay there again!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and the kitchen was well supplied. Two of the beds upstairs were missing slats and/or legs that supported the frame, which caused a problem. But, maintenance came the next day and replaced/repaired slats and legs on the beds. Regarding the number of vehicles allowed on the driveway, there was a discrepancy in the property description and the what the app stated when logging in. We specifically chose the property because the description read that three vehicles were allowed in the driveway. Unfortunately, we were only allowed two. This caused a bit of problem because of the back and forth to get the third vehicle. There were plenty of activities, restaurants, and the beach was great! With all of that being said, it was a 4/5 experience.
