House is very outdated. Owner hasn’t done anything to the house since they bought it. Water issues, pool heater didn’t work when told it was working. Oven didn’t work, I can keep going!

I don’t even know where to start with this review. I’ve had to contact the management people before we even came down to stay multiple times. When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi the entire week, cockroaches, tape on the floor to patch up the floorboards, water running with the ice machine and the air-conditioning unit wasn’t working well. Everything looked old dense in the wall. Was not kept up very well as the picture showed. I would say the best thing about this front was the location and being right on the beach. Maintenance had to come twice while we were there and not very much seating to lounge around for as many as the home could house.

House in very poor condition, oven did not work, showers did not drain, found five dead roaches and two alive ones, leaks in the ceiling, some of the TVs did not work, elevator only goes up, Wi-Fi is terrible-Had to use cell service. Structurally this house needs major updating, sagging floors, etc. AC does work.

Worst Vacation Stay Ever!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Pros...large bedrooms, beautiful views, lots of space and pool was a hit. The management company was awesome to work with and the few issues we had were fixed immediately even after hours Cons....close to a public beach, kitchen needs to be better stocked with pots and pans for cooking

Golf Trip

Some buddies and I (11 of us) took our annually golf trip and decided on Destin. This house was very clean and perfect for a group of our size. Would certainly recommend.

Spring Break

We have come to Destin for years and this by far has been our favorite stay. The house is everything it says it is and MORE. Great location, perfect set up for large group, and when we had an issue, it was quickly taken care. Spring break was very busy this year in Destin, the beaches were so packed, so we were very thankful for the private pool!!!!!!! We can’t wait to go back next year!!!!!

Amazing views

You can’t beat this location! It was unbelievable. The beds were comfy and lots of room. The kitchen drawers need a good cleaning and the trim in kitchen could use some fresh paint but who cares with that view! This house was perfect for my large party! We had so much fun! I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was perfect

I can’t express enough how great our stay was. We renewed our 20th vows, and we was able to accommodate all 75of our guests. Nicole and her staff was amazing. They had a great setup for me and my husband. They also made sure we had everything we need. Thank you all!

Stay at Bellagio

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful! There were just a few things that could use some improvement, we did see quite a few roaches during our stay in the bathrooms and kitchens, which we understand is a constant battle in Florida. Our biggest complaint is the wifi not working at all in the carriage house and the wifi in the house being VERY slow. As a group of women who were on this trip for business and pleasure it was frustrating to not have good reliable internet. The final concern is that there appears to be a leak in the ceiling of the carriage house right at the top of the stairs.

You are absolutely right; while pest control is a regular and proactive part of our maintenance routine, Florida’s climate can make it an ongoing challenge. We have scheduled an additional inspection to ensure this is addressed thoroughly. We also truly understand how important reliable Wi-Fi is, especially for guests working remotely or mixing business with travel. We’re currently working with the property owner to explore options for improving connectivity, particularly in the carriage house, which should absolutely have functional access. Lastly, thank you for noting the potential leak; our maintenance team has already been made aware, and we are arranging an inspection to determine the cause and make any necessary repairs. Great home to stay in.

If you can’t have a good time in this home it’s you! Loved the home, the view and the beach. There where a few cockroaches on the main floor the first few nights but we took care of that! I imagine most homes there have that issue. We would go back again!

There were some issues with the alarm system going off in the middle of the night and the elevator breaking, but maintenance got there pretty quickly to fix the issues.

View was amazing

View was amazing.. house was good except a few things need updated oven takes 45 min to heat and you have to up temp 25 degrees , stove, refrigerator is to small for that many people. The house is amazing. One thing that should state on the website is the $35 per day extra charge to heat pool. We would defiantly go back if house is maintained.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, large home, everything else was just average. Poor communication when asking questions about the property, the kitchen is poorly stocked, there are maintenance issues that need to be repaired, and there were also ants and cockroaches.

Please know that we're always willing to spray for future stays, as Florida is definitely known for pests. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful home. Gorgeous 3 story home RIGHT on the beach. Its a dream vacation. The Bellagio is that home that you pass on vacation and say" Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to stay there"! The view is a Million dollar view. We had a couple issues while there but Benchmark management stepped and did the right thing to help us. I would highly recommend a week at the Bellagio in Destin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 20 from all over the US stayed for a week over the 2017 Xmas holiday and had a fabulous time at the Bellagio. The house and beach are gorgeous and clean. A bit of work in progress in carriage house was no problem. The management was very helpful and their crew rapidly responded to our requests. One suggestion is to install a garbage disposal. We would be happy to have a chance to return to this terrific location.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the trip was good. Benchmark is proactive in communications with text. Bellagio accommodated our family well. The kids had space as well as each couple.. the negative is the close proximity to public beach access. Even though it was May, the beaches got very crowded especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

September 2017 Stay

This house was amazing. My family came and celebrated my sons 18th birthday. We had a blast. Everything was more than expected. Everyone was very excited about this home. We called about the hot water down stairs, maintenance came and fixed problem immediately. The only thing was wrong, but didn't hender our fun, was the elevator was not operational, other than that, no complaints at all. House is directly on beach always a plus, and the private pool was also a plus. We will definitely return again and stay in this place. You guys rock. Thanks so much for allowing my family to rent this home.

Beautiful home and location losing it’s luster

The beachfront location is terrific and the fact that it could accommodate our 20 family members with the flexibility of a pool was a most welcome feature. The home is showing extreme wear and tear. The exterior needs power washing, landscaping is an eye sore. We notified management company: mold in bathrooms, rainwater leaking from can light in bedroom, kitchen wood tables very sticky and this was also brought up in a May review, along with other items. Our family really enjoyed our stay, but the property needs some tender loving care.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent nearly a week. Beautiful home, spacious rooms. The home needs some tender loving care. Minor repairs have not been done like shower doors off track, double doors that barely open, uneven floors, slow shower drains, pigeons living in the eves, ovens and stove tops slow to warm, dining tables that need resurfacing. It is a beautiful, clean home that has been neglected a little, not terrible. The view and beach is breathtaking.
