We loved the pool and spa! Great space for my whole family. It’s in a great neighborhood, close to so many things but tucked away enough that it’s nice and quiet. Just what we were looking for.

Great house and pool!

Mark and Lisa have a lovely and comfortable home with a fantastic pool! Our kids also loved the trampoline. We took advantage of the location to visit Underwood Farms multiple times (under 20 min drive each way!) and enjoyed daily gelato at Tifa. Mark was responsive to text questions. We had a wonderful time and hope to return for another summer stay!

Perfect Family Stay

This family home has everything you could ask for: a beautiful pool and hot tub, a blooming garden, all the amenities inside and a pinball machine to boot. Near every store you could need. This is not an empty box, it is a loved and comfortable family home. We really enjoyed cooking in this kitchen and dining by the pool to the sound of the waterfalls. A+

Nice home

House was nice. Beds not so comfortable. Had an issue finding wash clothes but once in contact with owner they got us more. They spent quite a bit of time at the house with us watering flowers and plants. Didn’t care for this as I asked since it was my birthday i wanted it to be quick. I would have liked it to be only our family. It was a little weird. I lost their house keys and my wallet. They were very nice about it, I had the insurance so it was covered. They were a really nice family with a nice home. The pool was awesome. My kids had a blast.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy the tempurpedic mattresses and that there weren't enough washcloths. Typically we put out multiple sets of towels and each set has one cloth and that you were disturbed during the care and maintenance of the rock grotto pool. In the middle of a heat wave the new plants needed to be checked and watered. It was a shame that on your actual birthday you lost your wallet and the keys to our home; however it was our pleasure to quickly take care of it to help you to enjoy the rest of your stay.

Pool is as awesome as it looks!

We had a great time at this home! Plenty of space, kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and the location was not only convenient, but felt very safe. It was a little different than our prior rental experiences being that the homeowners live in this home, but that is well noted in the listing and they clearly marked the few things they preferred not use. Excellent home for a group stay

This house was a great spot for our group of 6. We enjoyed cooking and hanging out in the hot tub, and it was a good base for hiking in the nearby mountains and not too far from Malibu beaches. Lisa and Mark were very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Stay

We enjoyed swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub each day of our stay. Mark and Lisa were available to connect with prior, during, and after our stay. We enjoyed watching the rabbits in their garden. The home was a short drive to beaches and grocery stores.

Couldn’t have asked for more from our Agoura Hills stay. Our home away from home ticked every box. From start to finish, all a smashing experience. Easy and fast communications, warm and welcoming, spacious, comfortable, perfectly located in quiet neighborhood location accessible to absolutely everything. Couldn’t have wanted more convenience or comfort. Our group of 5 (representing 3 generations) all enjoyed spacious, private space as well as plenty of together time in general living space indoors and out. Such easy living in and out. My family and I absolutely loved this home. It is close to everything you could want to do or see and yet far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet that we love. I would encourage anyone thinking about staying in this area to book here....

Mark and Lisa are musicians and avid non-smokers with a 10 year old son, Gabriel that they home school. Lisa was an award winning drummer and is now an in-demand studio photographer specializing in family portraiture. Mark was a recording studio engineer with a platinum album with Earth, Wind and Fire and now owns Anything Mac a computer support company. Lisa grew up in the forests of Oregon and Mark grew up in New Jersey near New York City.

We fell in love with Agoura Hills because of the character of the area and it's proximity to nature and the fact that it is close to almost everything that we like to do. It has lots to do in it and fun little shops a short drive or walk away. One of Gabriel's favorites is Tifa. They have the best gelato anywhere that we've been and we LOVE to travel!

We like to hike literally around the corner of our home and hike up hills onto hiking trails to see a wide view of the hills across from our home. The wild flowers are beautiful in the spring along the trails. We spent 14 years renovating our smoke free family home to have the best of everything from the heated tile floor of the master bathroom suite to the tumbled marble mosaics sprinkled in the backsplashes and the distressed marble floor in the downstairs entryway and embedded in the floor of our pebble bottomed solar heated pool. Gabriel loves colors and lights so we invested in the over the top multicolored light show system that the pool uses to create a mesmerizing show. We enjoy entertaining so we throw BBQ pool parties and have friends over to enjoy our large pool and jacuzzi with two waterfalls.
