Excellent place right in the center of Funchal

Super comfy place - the apartment was clean and spacious. We stayed 1 week, and it was perfect. Most bars, restaurants and shops in central Funchal are just a few minutes walk or even less. Cooking facilities were also very good. Everything went smoothly during check-in and check-out.

Great little spot, bang in the middle of Funchal. Spent very little time actually in the apartment as everything you need was on the doorstep.

Very poor apartment 2C never again

Pictures shown are not in accordance with what we have received. The view from the living room and bedroom is very distressing. From the living room you also look directly into the office building across the street. The curtains had to be kept closed for privacy. These were also not hung up neatly. For a couple the apartment is okay, for friends it is lacking space and privacy. The shower drains very poorly, which results in overflowing water from the shower into the bedroom. In the shower itself a thick mold border was developed. In the kitchen the sink cabinet smelled badly of mold, no towel hook to hang a tea towel. No sink cap. Washing machine in the service area did not work, raised several times a complaint, nothing was done. Front door showed issues as well, nothing was done after various reports. And finally the noise at night. Below and next to the apartment are restaurants that are open until late. You don't have to be here for your peace and comfort.

Mooie locatie in het centrum : winkels en restaurants dichtbij maar toch in een rustige straat. De Online check-in is perfect. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol. Er is bovendien alles voorzien om te koken, strijken, wassen en drogen… ook het afval kan je op een originele manier sorteren,

Super Location, tolle Lage, schöne Einrichtung

Alles vorhanden, sehr wichtig: auch Kleinigkeiten wie Lappen (kein Spülmittel), Salz, Zucker, Kaffe, Essig, Öl…Toilettenpapier und Fön. Zwischenreinigung nach einer Woche, frische Handtücher inklusive (toll!!). Leider doch starke Geräuschentwicklung durch Autos und aufjaulende Motorräder auf Kopfsteinpflaster in der Nacht.

NUEVO Y BIEN SITUADO

El apartamento está tal y como aparece en las fotografías. Quizás el nuestro un poco más pequeño. Todo el mobiliario nuevo y de buen gusto. Cocina perfectamente equipada y todo muy limpio. Nada de ruido, buena insonorización. Quizás un solo juego toallas para 6 noches es poco. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Pleasant stay but noisy at night from downstairs restaurant guests

+ reasonable sized apartment for 2 people with lift access + plenty of hot water all the time + bed reasonably comfortable + Good city location close to restaurants, supermarket and other shops + Fast & competent response from Managing agent to rectify minor deficiencies after our arrival But: - Uninspiring view across narrow street to abandoned properties - Settee/bed in lounge uncomfortable to sit on as the seat slips outwards - Poor quality chinaware just plain white, heavy and too few items. e.g.just 2 wine glasses; 2 medium mugs so always washing up! - Kitchen cupboards sited too high; wife unable to reach items on top shelves - insufficient small tables for use beside bed and in lounge - big negative: guests in ground floor Italian restaurant talking/laughing each evening until past midnight - another negative: Restaurant staff started at 07:00 to layout tables and chairs with much scraping on pavement and loud talking between them!

Funchal Fairy Tale

If you are looking for a super cute, incredibily cleean and well-located place to spend your holidays, this apartment is the place to be. Step outside the building, and you have a quiet, no-cars street lines with bistros and restaurants and lovely shops. A two-minute walk takes you to the center of town and the main avenue, with all the main attractions. If you have a car, there is parking for Five Euros a day near the train station. Best of all, Francesco is a text away with expert, local advice. He even arranged our return taxi to the airport for a fraction of what it cost to hire a taxi. We can't wait to return.

Very vice apartment, helpful staff, very clean and very handy for the restaurants etc. Only negative was that there was quite a lot of noise during the day from work going on across the road renovating apartments. Overall, I would recommend.
