Great place to stay in Port A!

Shadow Palms was a great place to stay in Port A! The villa was so comfortable and well equipped. The property has a beautiful pool and outdoor showers that are perfect for waging off the sand from the beach. We absolutely LOVED having the enclosed front porch to unload all our beach toys.

Great location and layout of the residence. Appreciated the dedicated parking. We enjoyed our stay and had a great shirt tip to the beach.

Wonderful Experience

Our experience was great from Check in to Check out.. Location is great and centralized with reserved parking. We stayed in Villa #1. It was one of the bigger units with plenty of room and stocked with everything you need. Owners are actively onsite and always available to help or answer any questions you have. Checking in and out was a breeze as well. We will be back soon! Thank you

We enjoyed our stay at Shadow Palms. It was clean and the location of the pool was great for the kids. Met Pam the property manager who was personable and offer to be of assistance if we needed her.

Wonderful Place!

Home away from home

Very comfortable & cozy villa conveniently located near beach access, shopping & restaurants via golf cart (or vehicle). The entrance to the villa has a sand room where you can place sandy shoes, coolers, chairs, etc... keeping the villa floors as sand free as possible. 2 of the 3 a/c units did a wonderful job of keeping the place cool and regulating the humidity in the air. All in all we highly recommend Shadow Palms & would definitely stay there again!

Pictures don't do it justice

Our stay was wonderful. The reservation was in my name and Parents arrived about an hour before we did. The property owner happened to be there and let my parents in early no problem. The unit was clean, stylish and homie. The only negative is that the wifi was a bit spotty.

Nice but hot

We stayed in Villa 1. It was clean and good location for us however the air in the living room/ Kitchen wasn’t working but we were able to eventually cool the place down by turning down the air in the two bedrooms.

Nice and simple

Unit was clean and has a nice layout with central kitchen and family room and bedrooms and either side. Property does show better in pictures than in person. Very basic. No view. More like a small townhouse property with I believe 7 units. Bring your own toiletries, no soap, shampoo, etc... Beds were very comfortable and a big plus for cleanliness. Would spend more money to be closer to beach and view.

Good place to stay with a pool.

We loved that the place had a pool and accepted pets. The other guests staying did not pick up after their pets at all. We were having to take ours across the street because there was only a tiny patch of grass at the entrance. The outdoor cooking patio was perfect for grilling and relaxing at the condo. The laundry room was a great convenience. Our second bedroom for our parents had a portable AC due to the AC being out and we were told after we checked in that it was broken. The second bedroom also had a strong mildew scent in there. They slept in the living room for the most part. We were there to play on the beach and shop so didn’t bother us too much. I would stay again but just hope the AC worked.

Smell of Mold and Mildew was very overwhelming.

Was disappointed in this place. The smell of mold and mildew was overwhelms. We were unable to stay more than 1 night of our 3 nights stay that was already paid for. Ac in master bedroom was broken they had a window unit with duck tape around it that still did not keep that room cool. Dust all over the walls bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. Did message the host never heard back so we left and found somewhere else to stay.

Villas

The only complaint I had when I booked it off Vrbo I paid for the price listed. But then got an email from the lady saying the price was wrong and I owed more. I went back and forth with her. Respectfully, neither one of us were snappy with each other. I contacted VrBo because I knew the price paid/shown was the price that had to be honored I was right. And the lady apologized for any stress and honored the price. She was very nice throughout the whole process though. The place was great, clean and nice! Needed more AC power in villa 1. Pool was nice. Grill area was cool. Pool had stuff for kids like floats and corn hole. We would go back again and bring another fan if we had Villa 1. One room was definitely a lot colder than the other. Location was great, we were close everything.

Recharge time

We enjoyed our short visit. It truly is a comfortable home. After arriving late on our arrival day, we enjoyed setting up our “home”. We were blessed w/good friends that came in on Sunday & also wanted to plan another trip w/their families. This was a much needed time to relax after a death of a beloved family member.

Shadow Palm really does reflect what my family likes in a vacation home...you have privacy. Each villa is a stand-alone home. Only Shadow Palm guest can use or even see the pool area. Each villa has everything you need for cooking, socializing and having fun.

The grounds are beautiful and you can hear the ocean, so whether your vacation group just includes your immediate family or several families in multiply villas, there is enough room and space to relax and enjoy the breeze.
