This is our second stay here and we are pleased. Comfortable and close to the beach. A short walk to restaurants and shops on Center St. We travel with our two little dogs and this property is perfect for them. The reserved parking spot is a bonus!

Great location; parking on-site.

Nice little spot, clean, parking right outside the door. Walk to everything. Not fancy but just right for a little beach town stay. Would stay again.

We visited Folly Beach for our anniversary and were appreciative of being able to bring our little pomeranian w us also. The unit was comfortable ( esp the bed!) but the location is perfect! As others have said, there is some music across the street but nothing that interfered w our sleep. Full disclosure- it was the first place we saw so went for tacos & beer right after getting settled in & checking out the beach! We really enjoyed exploring the island on bikes and walking 'to town' just 2 blocks away- never needed the car while there- even for church on Sunday...being so close to all made us feel like we were in a past era... We had brought enuf breakfast food w us ( altho needed milk & juice so having Bert's grocery right behind us was very convenient!) but did eat out at a few restaurants and Everything was just great. This was truly a relaxing stay w beach walks, beach sits for reading & sunning & beach naps. Notice the 'theme'? lol - With this beautiful, clean beach just 2 blocks away we were there a LOT ( inc a sunrise & full moon rise). The reason for my 4 in communication is because while we didn't need a Pamphlet on the island or a long list of do's & dont's, it IS nice to see some recommendations (the guest book helped here) & a note from the host as to what is expected at exit. We did what we've always done when leaving a vacation home as per linens, etc but having host's preference helps. I am Sure we will be back!

Great Location

This is a great location to the beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment offered everything we needed for our stay. The place was clean and very well cooled. There was not a humid feel to the place.

Great Stay & Location

We really enjoyed getting away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The place was well sized for a couple traveling alone. Great location right behind Bert’s Market so a short walk to the beach and everywhere else in Downtown Folly. Would stay again!

Perfect!

We had the best time at folly beach ! The most clean place we have stayed with VRBO to date ! Very sweet and responsive hosts and it was such a cute space ! We loved how close it was to everything folly beach has to offer , especially being right at Bert’s mart which is the towns market ! Would highly recommend !

Positive comments: Loved being on the first floor with on site parking. Walked everywhere we went. Apartment size was perfect. Constructive criticism: Elaborate grill with sink was unkept. TV kept freezing up. We used the tub rug to keep from falling up or down the steps to the bathroom - should be marked. None of these would keep us from renting again.

Great location a blocks walk to the beach and restaurants. Good price point. Clean, good mattress. Parking was a huge plus. Would stay here again.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

I will book this unit again without hesitation because of cleanliness, location, affordability and quick responsiveness from the host. From the minute we opened the door and got settled in we felt at home and very happy with how clean, especially the shower, and tastefully decorated the unit is. Though we did not prepare any meals due to having Bert's (I highly recommend anything from their The Wooden Spoon menu) just next door and the multiple dining options a short walk away, the kitchen has everything we would have needed otherwise. The only downside for us was the late night/early morning footsteps from the unit above, but it was not constant and the advantages far outweighed that minor experience. The one time we had an issue with the TV, Julia responded very quickly and had the issue fixed shortly thereafter. I highly recommend this unit if you're looking for an easy-going true Folly-Beaching time : )

Our family lives right here- we have stayed in and enjoyed each unit with our children over the years. We have three girls and and two boys. In addition to the rentals we run the local grocery market on the island (Bert's Market) and recently opened up a boutique recording studio (Fairweather Studio). We love to travel around our beautiful country camping along the way as well as riding atv's, surfing, kayaking, painting ect. Omar and the children are passionate about music.
