Well designed apartment

Communication with the host was good, with full explanation of key access and parking. This is a really well designed barn conversion apartment over 3 storeys. We didn't need the top floor but the open plan aspect makes the space full of light. There's no shortage of equipment, inc. tech (TV/DAB radio/DVD + films to choose from). Location is perfect, 50 yds from the quay, great for local pubs and walks. Worth getting up early for stunning sunrise over the water. Our small dog was welcomed everywhere, in pubs, shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Great holiday home

We had a great holiday. The property is lovely and in an excellent location for easy access to Wells and other parts of Norfolk. The hosts were really helpful and there was a lovely welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one week and all had a great time.

We stayed for one week and all had a great time. Madeleine's Barn is minutes away from shops and the quayside in beautiful Wells. With two teenagers and two small dogs the barn made an excellent base and was perfect for us spending a lot of time out and about. It was clean, comfortable, centrally heated and well equipped. The unusual layout worked well for us. The parking bay next to the barn was essential. We give the location a score of 10 and the accommodation 8. Great location and comfortable accommodation. Good parking though narrow streets. Lovely walk to Holkham beach from the quay. A minor concern about the step from kitchen area to lounge area as the step is not easily visible and should be marked in someway

Fantastic place to stay - quirky property, nicely furnished and all accessories you need. Nice little courtyard for bbqs! Location in Wells is brilliant though being Carnival week there was obviously some local, late night noise due to events taking place nearby - not normally beyond midnight though! We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again!

Amazing property better than the pictures.

Amazing property better than the pictures. Amazing location 2 mins from the sea and great eateries. Central to Holkham, Holt, Cley etc all beautiful places to visit. This is our 2nd stay this year and will be back next year

This must be the sixth or seventh time we have stayed in MB, so I think that speaks for itself.

This must be the sixth or seventh time we have stayed in MB, so I think that speaks for itself. A central location in the lovely town of Wells, close to shops and local pubs ( the Globe is particularly recommended for food).
