Many issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. Ice maker not working all week never resolved 2. Water damage in master room active water, mildew smell and moisture 3. Rear patio door latch broke(fixed) 4. Lack of propane used it once and was empty. Spare tank was empty 5. One sponge for kitchen for entire week 14 guests

We had a fantastic stay in Hilton Head! The home was beautiful and very family friendly. The outdoor space was so fun and relaxing. The kitchen had everything we could need to make dinners for 10. Great time had by all!

Hilton Head Family Vacation

This house was amazing! Plenty of room for our group, the pool and hot tub are really nice and the outside bar/deck area is top notch. The beach is less than a minute walk and it’s super convenient to Coligny! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!!

Family Getaway

Lovely property and in great location. Only downside was all the levels and steps which were a little difficult for the older but the amenities and view outweighed that issue.

Beautiful beach front property

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house! The beach access is incredible and there is plenty of room - whether you are hanging at the pool, enjoying the views from the top deck or watching a movie in the living room. Would highly recommend!

Very nice house, easy beach access. Management very friendly and immediately dealt with two small issues that had virtually no impact on the stay. Would recommend the property and management company.

Perfect beach house

We loved 21 Heron. Fitted the needs of all guests. Right on the beach. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and being able to sit outside in the shade in the afternoon. Walked the 1/2 mile to the shops and restaurants often. Highly recommend

Beauty and the beach

Beautiful oceanfront home. Well stocked kitchen with lots of appliances, dishes, etc. Wonderful decks on two levels with marvelous ocean views. Plenty of spaces for being together or quiet time alone. A very enjoyable experience.

Great house layout for our purposes

The house has a great layout when having primarily adult attendees. All 6 bedroom have their own private bathroom and 4 of the bedrooms have king/queen beds. The other 2 bedrooms work well for kids in that they have either 2 single beds or 2 full beds. Access to the beach is great and shopping is nearby in easy walking distance.

Great spot for a family

The house works well for a big family group. It's great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen and dining area and living area are all roomy and comfortable. Be aware of the caterpillars if you come in April. They are everywhere and did diminish our use of the outside spaces. And the outside spaces are one of the best features of this great house. Our only other issue was that the beach access is very steep.

Family time with adult children

We were so excited to have a large spacious home to get quality time together. We played games, had great meals around both the indoor & outdoor table. With napping children, it was great to have direct access to the beach & we loved the pool. Only downside was the broken hot tub, but were appreciative of the credit they gave us. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation.

Vacation 2021

Great location, easy access to the beach and ocean. Property management kept checking and making sure our needs were met. The property itself needs some updates, maybe new mattresses, if you like hard mattress to sleep on then that will be fine. Maybe the carpet needs a deep cleaning or changed, but overall it is a good property.

Overall a great vacation

The home was not well kept. We found cockroaches multiple times and the house was super cold when we got there. Besides that, the location and proximity to the ocean was fantastic. The pool was very useful for kids. Overall a good vacation. Will do this again but probably in a different home.

House was perfect in location, size and comfort

Our stay with 5 couples was perfect! The house was laid out for the ability to get together as well as get away. We loved the large gathering areas for watching tv and playing games, but everyone was happy with their rooms being private. The newly added hot tub, poolside bar and covered porch were key! Loved the location close to Coligny Plaza as well. Easy to bike to shopping for groceries and restaurants/stores. Only complaint would be that there weren't any "kitchen staples like salt/pepper, etc". We left ours to "pay it forward". :)

Almost Perfect Family Vacation Get Away!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The inside of the house has had a facelift. Very nicely done! Family gathering space is incredible with wonderful views of the beach and ocean. Very large dining table with plenty of room for everyone both inside and outside. It was nice to be able to see who is on the beach and who's at the pool from the window. Every bedroom has a private bathroom which is such a bonus. I stayed here with my kids and their families and couldn't have been happier. One complaint. The queen bedroom and bathroom is extremely hot and there is an uncovered window up high that faces east. Sun streams in which is lovely but not at 7 am. The two primary king rooms have blackout blinds. All the bedrooms should have blackout blinds. If you have napping babies or people that like to sleep a little later the rooms are just too bright. The pool/spa area is incredible. Nice lounge chairs and umbrellas. It's a great location. Maybe a 7-10 minute walk to Coligny Plaza. Beach is much less crowded compared to S Forest Beach. The public walkway beside the house is a nonissue. The foliage in the yard makes the pool area private from the walkway. Near perfect family vacation house! I highly recommend!!

Great property in a great location

We liked this property and location so much we rented it again! Beachside once again did a great job and made everything so easy. From check in to check out they have it all covered. The house was perfect for our family with the number of bedrooms and en-suites. It was also great to have the pool which was very private. It came with all the amenities and Beachside provides information on renting everything from bikes to beach umbrellas. The area is beautiful and you can bike or walk most places. The beach is great for bike riding or walking. We will definitely rent through Beachside again. Quinn checked in with us a few times to make sure all was well. I would highly recommend this! The general repair of this property is in desperate need! And the photos you show on the website are really not accurate in terms of what condition the place is in. Black mold, smell of moth balls ( what critter are you trying to keep away!) grounds in horrible repair and garbage everywhere around the pool. This property costs way too much for the condition it was in. No oft should stay there u til some major details are repaired or it is an accident waiting to happen.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, we had to change plans at the last minute. Beachside was excellent in helping us find and reserve a place that worked for our family (four groups). They stayed in contact while we were there, making sure that everything was in order. We certainly plan to use them again in the future. 5-Stars is certainly an appropriate rating.
