We understand how unpleasant a strong carpet odor can be, especially when you're trying to relax on vacation. We're also sorry for the confusion during check-in. North Coast Village is a large property and can take a little getting used to, especially for first-time visitors. We apologize for the incorrect parking directions and the frustration this caused. As for the air conditioning, most condos at North Coast Village do not have AC due to the typically mild coastal climate. While this is noted in our listings and fans are provided, we certainly understand that warmer days can make the condos less comfortable. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve. We hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future!

We understand your frustration, but coming from a management company that manages 70+ condos in North Coast Village, you have to understand how difficult it is to keep track of damages. We have inspectors that check every condo before every check in. When damages are reported, our first step is to go to the guest who most recently checked out of the condo to see if they know what happened. Once in a while, our inspectors do not catch things, especially something like a drawer in the corner that is not used very often. As soon as you let us know that you thought it was broken before you got there, we quickly apologized and never charged you anything. Nor did we charge you for the towel that was stained. If it was one condo and one stained towel, we can see how that would be no big deal. But if every guest left stains on just one towel after every stay, the cost for us to cover that would be unreasonable. We try our very best to be fair and honest, so to call us "shrewd" we feel is a bit unfair, especially after we didn't charge you for anything. Having said all of that, we apologize again for the negative experience you had and hope that you'd consider giving us another chance.

One of my favorite Christmas activities there is to watch the Christmas harbor light parade from the balcony of G317. It was a week prior to your stay but definitely a treat to enjoy from the comforts of your own condo. We'd love to have you back in the future!
