Beautiful Wanaka

This property was absolutely perfect! It was just a short 25 minute walk to downtown or just a 8 minute drive and the view from the property was stunning! The apartment was super cute and clean!

Wanaka stay

it is as advertised. However the Tv is an absolute nightmare to navigate. For the entire trip could we not watch local news, a great point of contention. Upon arrival we had no access information. This had been sent a few hours before via email by owner but our email access was unavailable, took around two hours to connect and gain access. This should be provided 48 hours prior to check-in. Bodily fluid stain of bed sheet first night, we sent to laundry and redressed be. Overall very pleasant stay and called owners to convey it so. Would recommend, if you are not requiring local news on the tv.

Modern, warm and a great view

Loved the decor in this studio. Option to sit at the top of the stairs in a wee area and watch the lake while having a wine. Very warm in the studio, nicely set out and a very comfortable bed.

Immaculate 1 bedroom flat in beautiful Wanaka.

This brand new unit is cozy, tastefully decorated and functional. All needs were taken care of in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is good but not exactly "walking distance" to Wanaka commercial centre and lake area. Still, we thoroughly recommend the place. Our only small suggestion: a sensor light outside, beaming onto the external stairs would be a welcome Health & Safety feature. The existing stair lighting isn't quite enough to mitigate a fall in the dark and/or find the key and keyhole.

Modern apartment with great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this modern, well equipped and warm apartment with a great location in central wanaka. The hosts were extremely accommodating when we needed to delay the trip by a week due to floods. A great experience!

Easy stay Wanaka

The studio was clean and warm with a handy kitchen set-up. The hosts were great communicators and nothing was too much trouble. No hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

A modern and convenient holiday studio.

Enjoyed the freshness and purpose designed style of it. A lovely base for our holiday. The bed is comfortable but has only the usual sheet and duvet covers. The duvet was far too warm for summer and sheet only was too cool. We used the big towels as a light blanket, as we don't like having the aircon running all night. If you are using the entryway stairs in the dark, going down or up, make sure you have a torch as the built in lighting is annoyingly unhelpful. For our booking we needed to adjust the duration by a day and found the Book a Bach website procedure too messy and cumbersome. It was easy to book but hard modify easily. Surely you can do better!

Perfect place to stay!

Did a road trip around the whole of the South Island and this was by far the best place we stayed! Such a great spot and so many amazing small touches!! Host was super helpful and nice too!! Definitely recommend!!

Amazing Stay in Wanaka

We loved our stay here! The place is set up high and has stunning views!! We loved the accomodation - everything just perfect. It was set up beautifully and was warm, private and comfortable. Loved every minute of it. Thanks to Mitch and Portia.

Beautiful, clean and quiet

Great little place to crash after skiing all day. Easy drive to the restaurants, cafes and bars in Wanaka. Easy check in and easy communication.

Ski Break

We were very pleased with the accommodation. Staying in winter, we needed a warm place and this was very comfortable and very well appointed for a short stay B & B. Our host Mitch was very helpful and very easy to communicate with. We would certainly stay again when visiting Wanaka. Its a couple of Kms. out of the centre of but no issue if one has a car.

Great studio accommodation

Brand new, really well appointed and private. Bed very comfortable and great breakfast provisions. Loved the showerhead in the bathroom. The outside patio was private too and comfortable.

Two days in Wanaka

Great new property. Owners generous with supplies; milk, sugar, orange juice, muesli etc. TV viewing limited. Ventilation in main room poor unless sliding door left open. Still it was a great stay.
