Beautiful home away from home

Dear Angela,Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The house was very clean, even by my mum's standards, and she is very hard to impress. Everything was as advertised, apart from being unable to watch free-to-air TV in the bedroom. But this is a very minor problem as we were not really there to watch TV. I would highly recommend this property to anyone after a beautiful, clean house and an incredible view of the lake.Thank you!Kind regards,Ana

Great location, clean and modern. Lovely linen and even a Nespresso coffee machine.Only issue, door tricky to open and ants to be aware of…. Otherwise excellent.

Great place to stay and even on the main road, traffic was not on issue. I love that you allowed us to bring the dog. Wish more people were trusting with their rentals. I will definitely consider stay again.

Holiday on the lake..

Had the best holiday ,the apartment was just beautiful and relaxing , so nice waking up to the amazing views .. plus the extra touches of chocolate and yummy coffee was a treat . will definitely be coming back.😁

4 Days Off!

For us, this trip was awesome. 4 days of doing nothing but catching up with each other. The place had a neat little view of the lake, the road and the hotel across the street. Always something to watch and see. Our dog had a blast too. Loved watching people and cyclists. We had a few great sunsets and the break was just what we needed.

Great location, excellent views

This was a great spot, just across the road from the lake. It is elevated so you get great views of the lake. You can walk into town - I think it is about 2 km and a very pleasant walk along the lakefront. We were delighted to be able to bring our dog - you must arrange this beforehand and there is a size limit but the owner was very amenable to this. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the kitchen well-stocked with everything you need. I would highly recommend.

Convenient, good location, well equipped, nice deck, good parking on the property. Lake view across the road. Only downside - traffic noise.

Great Place to Stay in Lake Taupo Area

The apartment was big with plenty of room for 3 adults. It’s close to everything and the hosts provided everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!

Spaciousness, comfort, location and views.

We found this property to have spacious living and outdoor areas, very comfortable furniture and bedding and excellent views. The location was convenient for restaurants, activities, the lake and shops. We would stay here again.

Sparkling apartment with lovely ambience and view

We were thoroughly amazed by the beautiful apartment, quiet yet opposite the lake with the main road below. The garden surrounds and being on a rise above the lake made it feel very private. The apartment had absolutely everything you could wish for.

Fabulous Spot

Awesome apartment, clean, fresh, functional, homely and super cozy. Had everything we needed to enjoy our 4 night escape. Host Angela was friendly and easy to contact with a few things we needed, TV and gas for BBQ highly recommend.

Unfortunately not quite what is advertised

Location is great, and property is generally pretty tidy. Unfortunately two of the key selling points for us were not as advertised. There is no gas fire (despite the listing saying there is) which would have been nice on a cold winter night. The “hot tub” is a plastic pool that was empty and filthy, so not able to be used. It would be good if an email explaining how to locate the property was sent prior to the stay, as it is in a complex and very hard to find (especially in the dark)

Clean, quiet and comfortable

It was quieter and roomier than expected. Facilities were very good with everything you needed. Good space to relax and spend time with family.

This property as you can see is directly across the road from the lake so walking and biking is right on your doorstep. There are great cafes & restaurants nearby and the town centre is only a 5 minute drive. The apartment is elevated , large deck area ,private with good sun and lovely views. Book now you wont be disappointed.
