Overall this was a great choice for our long weekend in the mountains. It is cozy, has a beautiful view overlooking the river, and a great porch for morning coffee. We normally stay with our son who lives in Fleetwood, but we had too many adults this trip, so we needed an alternate location that was close by and this cabin fit the bill. We had some difficulty finding it in the beginning because we only had Google maps to look at from the site and no directions given. If there would have been a mention of coming from West Jefferson, left on Nikanor Rd, and then right onto N. Riverside which turns into Skyline Rd. we would have not spent 30 minutes trying to reach the cabin from the south end of 163 through Obids trying to access the neighborhood from Riverview Hts Dr. Also we didn't realize there were two lock boxes and we spent 10 minutes trying to open the wrong one and then realized there was another box behind the post near the door. As far as the accommodations, one recommendation is to advise not to plan (or need) to put adults into the small room with the bunk beds. You can barely get into the room because the bunk beds take up the whole room and it is hard for adults to maneuver. Several times we bumped into the TV mounted in the corner trying to get in the door. One adult has to climb the ladder to sleep on the top bunk so they don't have to crawl over the other adult if they need to get up during the night which was a little challenging.
