I am the kind of person who would rather help someone with their small business than hurt them with an unfavorable review. I texted Matt and asked if he would call me so we could chat about his rental; I have now waited a week and he apparently is not interested in my thoughts. So, I guess I’ll post them to keep others from being disappointed. This is a cute Little Blue Cottage, but I arrived at around 6:00 PM and it was totally dark-no porch light was left on, and house was unlit…not very welcoming. Then I noticed the few steps and the walkway was covered in icy snow. Traversing in slick ice in the dark carrying luggage is not desirable, let alone safe. It was in the 20’s outside-and felt like it inside also. Turning on the heat for an upcoming guest is pretty normal. It was frigid and it took quite a while before I could take off my coat. I put my steak leftovers in the fridge for the next evening only to find out that it was barely cool; I was afraid to eat the rest of my 30 dinner. The two TV’s were left on-perhaps because there was no main controller to turn them off-therefore shinning in my face all night-as well as to adjust the extremely loud volume. There was only a small apps controller. Well…I am out of character space and can’t finish telling you all the fixable things that went wrong-but I can tell you the worst…the shower was disgusting…it needs to be replaced. Consequently I took sink baths during my stay.

Poor host experience due to us renting this cottage almost 3 weeks in advance, than was told last minute that we were being bumped to a property that isnt listed thru vrbo due to the "weather". When in all actuality the host had somebody else staying in the blue cottage. The loft apartment that we were moved to was cold and dirty.

Check-in and out was easy. Owners were communicative and accessible. Cute house has great potential but needs some updates so it looks and feels cleaner. Fridge wasn’t cooling but owners were notified.

All I needed

Perfect location, close enough to walk to food and drink, and exactly one block off the main cruising route so I could watch and not be on the route. The fridge could be colder, and there's no oven, and the A/C is loud. But that was stuff I knew. The place was clean, and easy to find. The little front porch is a great place to unwind.

Tiny home

We enjoy every time we stay here . We have stayed her many times. There is some repairs that need to be done . Also I think there needs to be a better way to cook besides a microwave.

It was dirty and lack of maintenance Bedding had hair and dirt on them the bathroom wasso gross the toilet is not secured to floor shower tile and pan was full of mold and sewer just flowed straight into the front yard by the fron porch sitting area

Cozy tiny home

We stay here every time we come to the area from Tennessee, it's small and cozy, perfect for you and your significant other, host is very nice and communicative. It's located within walking distance of downtown Cape shops, highly recommend this home

The towels were supposedly clean, they needed replaced, sheet was dirty, I had to sleep on top of the covers, the mattress over was disgusting

We stayed here to visit our two children going to SEMO. Everything about the place was perfect for a couple. The place was cute and the location was perfect

Do not recommend.

Do not recommend this house to anyone. It was dirty, the ac did not work and was covered in ants. The kitchen had them, the bathroom, the shower. The owner is not responsive. I stayed a total of 5 minutes before walking out.

The house is very nice. I was expecting and hoping to cook. There is no stove and no cooking utensils, so that was disappointing. There is one pan that plugs in and I made it work, but it would have been good to know beforehand. There are some other pans but you can't use them. I might suggest a hot plate. Other than that, very nice.
