Beautiful Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures and description of the home and the amenities were spot on - and the view was dreamy! Communication with the property manager and concierge was super easy and they were always available. I would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and everything it said it would be. The only downfall is being far from everything else, the kids would have enjoyed being closer to the action. The adults loved it!

everything was perfect except for the BBQ. We had to repair it as it was shooting flames from the knobs. Then the cleaners came and we had to do it again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Nice Home on the Water with Beautiful Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 8 stayed here during the week before Christmas.The home is very comfortable and livable.All bedrooms have the creature comforts with nice linens, comfy beds, ample space, their own baths.Plenty of tvs, beach toys, kayaks. Good electronics.Overall a nice experience. Kitchen needs some updating with better utensils/pots/pans and a better oven.Furniture is a little on the worn side.Ice maker and beverage coolers had to be defrosted upon arrival...both were caked with ice and not working.Pool remained on the cool side even after arranging for the heating option.Ceiling was leaking in the hall during rains.One bath had a very bad odor the whole week.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: La Percha was Amazing! The location is the best on the island. From hanging out on the dock looking out over Sapodilla Bay, or the one minute walk over to Taylor Bay Beach where we found a bunch of Starfish, there isn’t a better place to be. The pool area has it all and the foliage gives you amazing privacy and shelter from the wind. Every room has an amazing view and the showers and sound system was a pleasant surprise. The house was more equipped than any other rental we have been to. Even had tennis racquets that we used at the communities courts. Don’t hesitate to book this place unless you are going to try to take our week as we are coming back every year 😁

Great Vacation

We had a great time at Villa La Percha. The view, the house, the island, all perfection. The house had plenty of space for everyone to be together indoors or out. Also generous bedrooms with outdoor space to get some peace and quiet. The house was beautifully equipped with everything you would need. We had a great week at Villa La Percha and can't wait to do it again

Perfect Location, Perfect House

The villa was nicer than the pictures! The outdoor space was the highlight. Lots of room to hang out together, or yo find your own space. In the sun, or in the shade, or over the water. Loved the outdoor kitchen. Best meal of the week was fresh red snapper and lobster grilled on the BBQ. Taylor Bay, one of the greatest beaches in the world, a 2 minute walk out the front door. The bedrooms were all very spacious., and loved the screened patio. The internet was fast and functioned outside. We have stayed in number of villas over the years, and La Percha was by far the best.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation

From the moment we arrived through our departure 8 days later This family vacation exceeded expectations. Villa Percha was exceptional clean and well stocked ( Kitchen and water activities). The local Management company was extremely responsive whenever called upon. The location of Taylor Bay 400 yards across the street, as well as the private dock and pool provided every option for water fun. We will return and strongly recommend to others.

La Percha Review

We had a great say at Villa La Percha. Kerry, our EDH contact handled every detail. The location of the home is wonderful and it is furnished tastefully and comfortably. As someone who likes to cook, I would have appreciated a gas stove in the kitchen and the outside grill has seen better days. I admit that I am used to a Weber Summit gas grill which is the kind of top of the line appliance I would expect in a home like La Percha. The other missing piece was a foot shower/washing area in the drive way to clean the sand from the beach off. As the home is across the street from a wonderful beach (Taylor Bay), I'd think this would be a no brainer. I know that other homes on the street have this feature anf I think it could be easily added to La Percha. We did not use the fire pit in part because the gas shut off is inconveniently located behind the grilling station. It's hard to find in the dark. It looks like there was once a switch at the pit and it would be great if that could be restored to operation. I would also suggest purchasing standard beach chairs that are light and easy to carry over to Taylor Bay. There were only three camp type chairs that were heavy and cumbersome. I think in the case of beach chairs, simple and easy is better. I would also suggest having enough for every guest. If the home accommodates 8, then there should be 8 beach chairs. A small detail that will make a big difference. Aside from these small details, we had a wonderful visit and would recommend La Percha and EDH to anyone looking for a relaxing get a way in the Truks.

Thank you for your review. We greatly appreciate the time you took to provide feedback. We're happy to know you had a wonderful time and would recommend Villa La Percha to other vacationers. We've followed up on your suggestions and wanted to share our progress.  While this is the first request we have received, a foot shower at La Percha is officially on the list for consideration. Additionally, we have already ordered four folding chairs and they will be waiting for you on your next stay with us! The outdoor grill was in need of repairs and those have been taken care of. Regarding the fire pit, after many attempts to adjust it, we decided to remove the auto light feature when it proved too problematic to use given the breezes on the island.  We found that lighting the pit manually actually worked much better.  We are happy to help with this if you should have any trouble at all. Again, thank you for your kind words and thoughtful suggestions.  Our goal is to provide our guests with the best possible experience at our homes.
