Right in the middle of all our favorite spots in LA, sitting on the side of a hill with a 140 degree view, we spent six days living the good life.
We had plans to visit a museum with our kids, but instead, found ourselves spending our mornings reading through the library at the house and drinking coffee.
Our host, who could not be more hospitable, offers up her record collection, and a turntable to play them on, so we were able to enjoy our kids freaking out over how cool a record player really is. I highly recommend the Nigerian jazz record.
I am going to guess that the house was built around 1950 , and it is a great representation of what Mid-Century modern represents. The custom furnishings are perfectly suited for the space, and when you look outside, you can see for miles.
There is a large outdoor area that is, private, furnished, and is a half day adventure, if you are into plants.
Obviously, we loved our stay, and i know different people like different things, but i can't imagine anyone being disappointed after staying here. We felt like we got way more than we were expecting.
