Welcome to Joy Cottage! Our Cozy Cape Cod cottage is tucked away in the woods, within walking distance to Bakers Pond in Orleans, MA and boarders Nickerson State Park. The cottage is 4.5 miles from Nauset Beach and 2 miles from Skaket Beach.

Joy Cottage features a large wrap-around deck and a roomy outdoor shower. The cottage shares a spacious, well landscaped yard with the owners residence. During the prime summer weeks, the owners residence is also rented out to vacationers. The cottage also has its own personal backyard space with plenty of privacy and fire pit. Level II EV charger on the property for guest use.

Upstairs: The kitchen has a gas stove with above microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Queen size bedroom and one full bathroom is located on the main floor next to the kitchen and dining area. A spiral staircase takes you down stairs to where the second bedroom (twin bed) and living area (queen sleep sofa) are located with a walk out entrance. Two wall mounted AC units, private laundry, fire pit, beach supplies: cooler, umbrella and chairs, and WiFi included.

We offer contact-free, keyless entry for each guest (all of the doors are electronic keypads). Please note the spiral staircase might not be suitable for all guests. Ideal for a couple, 3-4 friends, or a couple with one or two small children.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The Joy Cottage was the perfect spot for our long weekend getaway. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The cottage gave us the perfect spot at the end of our day to relax.

Great weekend getaway

Place was exactly as advertised. Central and very easy drives to all the major beaches in Orleans as well as local restaurants/supermarket. Would definitely book again.

Weekend Getaway

Great spot for a weekend getaway. Perfect location to check out both mid and outer cape beaches and towns. Very clean, kitchen had everything you need to cook in, couch/tv area was cozy, and the fire pit set up is a nice bonus.

Great vacation home

Wonderful home in a great location to experience all the Cap has to offer. Stayed as a family of four and the cottage was everything that we could have asked for. Host was very friendly and check in and check out was very easy. If available we would definitely book again on a return trip.

Wonderful Stay

This house is perfect in every way. It is perfectly located on the Cape for day trips, and we loved its location in such a beautiful private neighborhood. The flora and fauna were great, especially the turkeys and the blooming rhododendrons. Our host thought of everything we could possibly need.

Cute cottage

Wonderful hideaway!

Wonderful!

Melissa was great to work with, always replying within an hour or less. Joy Cottage is such a happy, bright, clean home away from home. Great location, quick drives to beaches & surrounding towns, peaceful lot in the woods, close to grocery stores, and everything you need for your stay, is provided. Loved our stay here!
