Perfect beach spot

Less then 5 min walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood with all amenities right at your door. Would visit again!

Very nice beach house. It could use some updates, but overall my family and I enjoyed our stay. Great that we were close to the beach. Our dogs had a great time as well, so glad we were able to bring them along. The enjoyed walking every morning and exploring the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to beach

It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach and the rooms were spread out nicely. The house was older ( with some quirks) although clean and good for a large family visit.

Cute house great location

We enjoyed our stay in Kill Devil Hills! While the house was clean and comfortable we did have some issues initially getting into the house with the access code and we did not have WiFi throughout the stay.

PROS:The location was excellent — convenient to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. The front porch was a real highlight: it’s completely covered, so we could enjoy it in any weather, rain or shine. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-equipped with plenty of drawer and storage space.CONS:Unfortunately, the property showed signs of inadequate cleaning and maintenance between guests. There was a myriad of fingerprints all over the refrigerator suggesting that Village Realty doesn’t check after a cleaning crew has been through.On the appliance side, the dryer was missing a handle, making it awkward to open and close, and the freezer was not freezing properly, which limited our ability to keep items frozen during the week.Connectivity was another issue. The WiFi information provided to us was incorrect, though we eventually figured it out (found correct info on router). Even after connecting, the signal was poor and streaming was unsatisfactory, with frequent buffering.While the location and some of the home’s features were strong, the cleanliness, maintenance, and WiFi problems detracted from our stay. We hope the management addresses these items for a better experience next time.

Great location. A walk or drive to the beach can be utilized. House was clean, and the kids loved the layout. A few nits: dishwasher was inoperable and displayed an error message throughout our stay; the dryer handle was broken and kept falling off; and there are a lot of the deck nails popping out that are trip hazards, as well as cracked and chipped tiles. A shard came off and stuck in my foot. Overall good stay and would stay again.

Cramped

Crowded. Furniture uncomfortable. No place to eat but a bar. Dishwasher was a bad joke. Too much furniture and two many Knick-knacks.
