If your next trip to the Outer Banks is long overdue, start making plans now and be Wright On Time. This classic beach box has been completely renovated throughout. Modern fixtures and LVP flooring make Wright On Time look and feel like a newly constructed home. The coastal-inspired finishes and decor will give you all the beach house vibes you've been looking for. At the end of the day, come home and hang out in the open-concept great room with vaulted ceilings and neutral tones for a bright and airy atmosphere. Get dinner started in the brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gorgeous blue mosaic backsplash. Pets are welcome at Wright On Time, so you furry friends can accompany you on your next OBX getaway.

Use the light with pedestrian crosswalk at the end of the street to safely walk or bike to the beach. The nearby 5th Street public access is just an 8-minute walk or 2-minute bike ride away. Centrally located at Milepost 6.5 in Kill Devil Hills, Wright On Time is within a mile radius of shopping, groceries stores, a movie theater, mini golf and restaurants including The Jolly Roger and Goombays Raw Bar & Grill. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to the Avalon Fishing Pier.

Can’t stay an entire week? Wright On Time is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

Place was clean and comfortable for our family vacation. Easy to get to the beaches and grocery stores. All the main cooking utensils were there to make meals. Would come back to stay here again!

Overall, everything was wonderful! The house was super clean and well stocked - it was great that every room had an extra box fan, and there were plenty of dishes in the kitchen, blankets in the rooms, games for rainy days, multiple TV's, and the Wi-Fi was good, too. When the electricity went out one night the on-call staff quickly responded with updates. The location was excellent - walking distance to the beach, Target, Food Lion, Wright Brothers Memorial and lots of places to eat and do things. The ONLY real trouble was with the trash - the barrel was full when we got there and was not emptied for our entire stay. I sent several messages and left voice mails, but received little assistance until I spoke with Pat in customer service (after the call was somehow forwarded to her from the main number as she covers a different area of OBX). Pat tried to get someone to come and get the trash, but no one ever did :-( Other than that, we had a wonderful time - it was the Senior trip for my daughter and 4 of her friends - an amazing week of memories as they prepare to start college in a few weeks. I am looking forward to renting here again in the future. Thank you so much, Kim

Clean and brand new!

It felt as though we maybe have been the first group to stay here since it was renovated. The space was very nicely updated and clean. We stayed for NYE weekend and this house suited our needs well. Short walk to the beach access across the highway, and close to grocery stores. The house was well stocked in the kitchen with gadgets. Would definitely come back!

Family/Friend Vacation

The property was very clean and nicely renovated. We decreased our rating because the house had NO extras—no laundry soap, no spices, not even basic salt and pepper, no beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, bikes, etc. this was a huge bummer because we flew here from Texas and weren’t about to buy this stuff. Of course we bought the spices, but part of hosting a home is contributing to a fun and memorable vacation, and that means providing beach toys and basic kitchen spices. The septic tank also appeared to be malfunctioning.

I love to hear that the property was cleaned and you appreciated the owners decision to make improvements to their property to satisfy their guest! Beach Equipment including chairs, umbrellas, and bikes may be rented from several different beach rental companies available in the area. Unfortunately, it is customary across the OBX that these items are generally not provided and is indicated on the website when booking. Thank you again for taking the time to provide the feedback, because of this, the homeowner has now provided sand and beach toys at no future expense.
