Shoreline Hideaway - Hidden Hideaway close to the beach

we love this because..
we are always looking for a cute little cottage/studio that we can get away to as a couple with our doggie in tow.
But we have also stayed here with two kids who slept on the sofa bed. its the perfect spot as it is right on the beach.
We walk across the road to the white Sandy beaches of Capel Sound and spend all our summer days swimming and sunbaking.
If we are feeling energetic we take the Bay Trail walk in either direction and end up at either Rye or Rosebud. In the summer the funfair is on to entertain the kids in one location and the circus in the other. Perfect.
Our favourite spot for coffee and breakfast is only a 7-minute walk away at The Kitchen and for something special we always choose Veraison Restaurant which is only a 5-minute walk.
At Capel Sound, you will find a host of cafes including Unica Cucina E Caffe which is our recommendation.
The Hideaway has a shared driveway with Shoreline the double-storey townhouse at the front of the block that can be booked together as Shoreline+Hideaway.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. I love walking to the beach where I can go swimming in the ocean with all the other doggies (but only at certain times of the year).
And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Lovely weekend away

My partner, our little dog and I stayed here for two nights for a weekend away. Great location, easy walking distance to the beach and to dinner. Fairly central if you're wanting to explore the rest of the Peninsula. And ideal for having Luna with us - the property is fully enclosed so we could safely leave her there while we went out for dinner.

Chic Beach Shack

Gorgeous beach shack, lovely and bright with comfy furnishings. Bathroom is small but very functional and neatly fits all that you need. There is no hanging space, which is fine for a beach getaway but we were celebrating a special occasion so had some fancier clothes for a dinner outing. Also no champagne glasses so BYO if you prefer not to drink bubbles from a wine glass. Lovely outdoor setting with plenty of lawn for the dog to roll around on. Right across from the bay, which the dog loved visiting (prior to 9am and after 7pm during daylight savings time). Other off leash dog beaches a short drive away. We wished we had a longer stay to fully relax and unwind!

Great place… wish it were cheaper.

Very nice, clean and well equipped. A bit smaller than expected (given the price -over $450) and could do with renovation to shower area (small and cracked floor). Great back yard. Our doggy loved it. Close to ocean.

Dog friendly beach retreat

We stayed 5 days .. location was excellent , just across from the beach ! Property was lovely however some improvements could be made ! Listed below : Shared bins with front house so we had no space for our rubbish or recycling No bin in the tiny bathroom Water pressure from shower was very poor Not enough closet space to unpack our stuff for our 5 days ... one closet was locked and unusable Vacuum cleaner was a Dyson but had no suction Barring these things we had a great stay and special mention to the very comfortable bed
