Hidden Gem!

I have been really big on reviews lately especially when it comes to a hotel/vacation stay. We stayed at Tropic Terrace #18 in June 2024. It was a late honeymoon for us. I will start with the cons because to be honest there were not many. The place was smaller than I expected but it was good for us. We basically showered and slept there. The tv did not have cable, but we only tried to watch tv before bed. I wish the place had more things stocked. For instance, dish soap, beach towels, beach chairs. We had to buy our own and we flew down so we had to leave them. This unit was definitely more dated. I heard that some of the places were more updated. Now onto the pros: The property was amazing. Meticulously maintained and clean. The place was absolutely adorable. And soo quiet. The pool was also very nice. The walk and access to the beach was perfect! The town of treasure island was perfect. We would definitely consider staying again, just maybe a different unit based on #18 being a little more out dated.

Perfect location

The grounds are kept very well. The rooms are small, but nicely kept and cutely decorated. For us it was a place to shower, change and lay our heads and it served it’s purpose perfectly. The access to the beach, sunsets and boardwalk area were great as well. The star of course is the beach and it’s direct access. We will certainly keep this little gem on our list for return trips.

I loved the property.

I loved the location. The property is nice. Lots of options, I.e., pool, beach access, kitchen, nice bed, close to everything I wanted and needed. If I had one complaint it would only be that the bathroom is small. The space between the sink and the toilet isn’t much to move around in. But I would give you a 100% overall.

Relaxing

The unit was very clean and the location was really great . Close to the beach and walking distance of restaurants and grocery store. I had a very relaxing week enjoying the pool and beach.

Treasure island vacation

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed, nice walk in shower, and a kitchen that was very well stocked. The overall property was just as nice with an abundance of flora. The pool was clean and well kept. We would definitely stay again. Steve P.

Fun getaway

The pictures online was deceiving as to the actual size of the room. There were mice poops on top of the refrigerator! The floor was filthy… Television was very frustrating to work. It’s highly unlikely that we will stay on that property again.

Nice little spot on the beach, not perfect but fair for price

This is an older property as most of these units are and some maintenance probably needs done. The shower head connector was broken when i got there and I had to shower with basically a garden hose spitting out of the pipe, not a big deal to me but if my fiance was there, that would've caused some headaches. I sent the property manager a message about it but no response. That being said, the shower itself was roomy, however the rest of the bathroom was basically a closet with a toilet and a sink that overlaps each other. The bed isn't the most comfortable either... Other than that, pretty much standard for a beach trip, ok for the price. Check in was easy, relatively quiet (when i was there).

Very clean, compact unit. Centrally located between johns pass and the rest of the eateries. We couldn't reach the pull chain for the kitchen light. We would go again.
