We have stayed in Cherry Grove for many years. This is our first time on the beach. This home was perfect for our family. The back deck to the ocean is wonderful. The bedrooms were roomy and had comfortable beds. We had 11 people, ages ranged from 2-74. A great time was had by all 😃

What a cute beachfront house! We had a blast at this ocean front house. It’s very traditional old style beach house with beautiful wood paneling throughout. If you use a c-pap know you will need to bring a plug converter because in the master bed room the outlet are two pronge. We had a wonderful time and it’s the first beach house we have rented that seemed have a friendly ghost 👻 lol. Will be back next year!!

The house was not stocked in any way. No garbage bags, no toilet paper, no paper towels, no dish soap etc. All supplies needed to be purchased. Cockroaches running all over the kitchen and cabinets, inside refrigerator and freezer door cervices. Was charged for professional cleaning service up front yet was given instructions to clean like a professional or be charged more fees? Not a very pleasant experience

We’re truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations and appreciate you sharing this feedback. Please note that this home is self-catered, and we do not supply consumable items such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, or dish soap. This information is outlined prior to arrival so guests can plan accordingly. We are especially concerned to hear your comments regarding cleanliness and pests. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have addressed these concerns immediately. Our office was open the day after check-in, and unfortunately, we did not receive a call or message reporting these issues at that time. The cleaning fee covers the standard turnover cleaning prior to arrival. The checkout instructions are standard guidelines to help maintain the home and avoid excessive cleaning needs beyond normal use; they are not meant to imply guests are expected to perform professional-level cleaning. We regret that this was not a pleasant experience for you and wish we had been given the opportunity to resolve these matters while you were still on site.
