Great location across the street from the beach and just a 4-5 minute walk to the pier. Short walk to all local shops and Bert’s grocery store.

Rooms, kitchen, and bath clean. Good communication with host. Porch area was right on the street which was okay but not ideal. Very close to the beach. Within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. Only parking for one vehicle. Space was very small especially for unit A.

The floors were extremely dirty. The ice maker did not work and it took over 24 hours for the refrigerator to get cold. Also there are areas in the flooring thru out the unit that has tape over them which needs repairs. The cabinets in the kitchen very run down and needed some repairs. The beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom sink has a pressure problem and water barely comes out. For the price I would think it would be better taken care of. We have stand in The Salty Shack unit C for many years and decided to change it up this time, which was a mistake.

Salty Shack was perfect for us (three adult friends). We loved being across the street from the beach and a short walk to town. We enjoyed the food and cocktails at all the restaurants we visited. It was great to sit outside on the front porch with our coffee in the mornings, and even though it is on Arctic Ave, traffic was never a problem. The unit was clean, well-maintained, bright, and spacious. We all agreed we'd go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect location

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and the location really just can't be beat, it’s a short walk to the beach and downtown. The place was very clean and ideal for the 2 of us.

Wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is phenomenal - within walking distance of Center street where all of the main restaurants, shops, etc. are. And the beach is literally a stone throw away.

Great beach house

Great beach house with everything we needed, a short distance from the beach. Walking distance to a great market (Bert’s) and several bars/restaurants.

Great location!

We loved being in the heart of Folly Beach, close to restaurants and shops, the pier, and steps away from the beach. Bert’s Market is the best - and right around the corner. Would love to visit again.

Great Location

Great location. Clean, roomy living space and nice size bedrooms. Around the corner from Berts Market and walking distance to restaurants. Would stay again.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was as described. Great location right next to the beach and very close to downtown Charleston. Check-in/Checkout was very smooth. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone

Lovely home great location

The property was just as described and the location was great! Across the street from the public beach access and around the corner from Bert's Market where you can get almost anything you need. Definitely recommend for a weekend at the beach with your small group/family.

The location of this unit is wonderful in proximity to the beach. Keep in mind that you are attached to another unit, so it is common to hear the people staying next door and everyone's noise level is different. The unit needs a deep cleaning and some updating. The unit lacked blankets which would have been nice since it was chilly for most of our stay. We had a few issues with other people parking in our designated space, but the management company tried to remedy the situation. In general, it was adequate for our stay.

Cute place

Enjoyed our stay at Salty Shack. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower. We loved everything else. the location made it so convenient to everything you’d need.
