Easy to check in and out. The property management group was super helpful and friendly. We literally talked about how much better it was to have done this versus a hotel since we were able to cook for ourselves when we wanted to. We had a great time!

Very beautiful place to stay

Other than having no ac for two nights which was miserable the condo and all the accommodations was great . I would definitely recommend the condo. Marco Island is the most beautiful place we have stayed so far in Florida.

Empty Nesters First Vaco

This was our first vacation without kids in forever. They are all through college and on their own! Our days were filled with morning walks, afternoons on the beach and nights of sunsets and seafood.

Meh

Overall, it was okay. However, if you want a good night sleep, the mattresses on the beds are less than desirable. Walk from condo to beach is approximately 2 football fields of sand. It’s quite a hike!

Great views

The property was nice. Getting through gate security was a challenge. A different person than we have ever had before when staying at the Towers. She really slowed things up, frustrating. Great views of the beach that I so love.

Great view with nice balcony

We enjoyed our stay of 11 nights ! Had two bedroom and two bathroom (was only two of us so only used one bedroom) ! Fully supplied with kitchen supplies.! Great balcony with table and chairs great for meals and happy hour ! Unit supplied with all beach things needed (towels, chairs, umbrella, cart, cooler etc). Was easy check in and check out and any questions were answered promptly through email or text ! It is on the 18th floor (there is an elevator) view is great (beach / ocean and mangroves) the beach is a a quarter mile walk ! The pool is really nice, warm with lots of seating....we really enjoyed it too !

Get away

We enjoyed our condo. We were there during Helene and when we first arrived we weren’t able to get the TV to work, which we needed to be weather aware. We contacted the management company who arranged a 3 way phone call with the cable company. We soon had TV. The unit was perfect for 4 adults. This unit had everything we needed for beach time once Helene passed us! The only thing that would make this unit better would be a stackable washer/dryer. Loved the area.

Amazing Views in South Seas Condo

Stayed for a week at the end of December with my family of 5 (kids in 7-15 range) and it was perfect. The condo had plenty of space for everyone and we had everything we needed to cook a lot of meals at the condo. Room was on the 18th floor (second from top) and the views of the beach were incredible. We booked because of the views and it did not disappoint. There was a wagon to bring things down to the beach and other items like beach chairs, etc. The pool was nice, but we mainly went to the beach. Just a heads up, even though the South Seas towers are on the beach, it does take awhile to get to the water due to how big the beach is. This is just a comment about Marco Island beach in general for those that haven't been before. The wagon in the condo will be put to good use. We created a lot of great family memories here and would highly recommend this condo. Also, we were right across the street from some nice pickleball courts, tennis courts, bocce ball, putting green, and shuffleboard. That sport area was awesome and we got a lot of use out of it in the morning. Played a lot more pickleball on vacation than we thought we would. Overall this place has everything a family would need for a great vacation.

Nice Beach Comfortable unit

The unit is nice and clean. The beach equipment provided was in very good condition. The kitchen is minimally equipped. Cooking was a challenge. The walk to the beach is long, but it was ok for us. Takes about 10 minutes to get to the water. There was a significant amount of construction in the hallways, the unit next to ours and outside. We were given beach keys that are obsolete. We got locked out and needed a good neighbor to let us in. The grounds are nice and the beach is beautiful, very shelly and not crowded. The pool closes at dusk. There are several nice restaurants and a full size grocery store a short drive from the unit. Hauling our luggage up the narrow staircase was not easy. Manager should let tenants know to unload downstairs. Overall enjoyable. Would definitely return to the same building. Might try a different unit, since I like to cook a couple times during our stay.

Thank you for your review and so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! I am not sure what made cooking a challenge as it is a fully stocked kitchen; however, we will take a closer look to see what could be missing and take action accordingly. Regarding construction, condos on Marco Island give owners a window from roughly May 1 to Nov 30 to take on renovation work, whether that is in the unit or in the common areas. Exceptions are made for emergencies and major renovation work, e.g. windows and sliders, that cannot be completed during that window of time. We disclosed this work in the listing so guests are aware prior to booking and this is another reason why rates are much lower in the offseason. As for hauling your luggage up the stairs, there are 3 elevators in this building and luggage and shopping carts are available on the ground floor across from the Management Office for guest use. (Kudos to you for taking the stairs 18 floors with your luggage in tow!) Thank you for booking with us and hopefully we can host you again!

Plusses and minusses

Outstanding Location and beautiful condo. I was skeptical about being so hi up but the views were great and balcony huge. Waiting for elevators was a tad annoying. Walking Distance to the gulf dissuaded us from going down to the beach more often so we used what was a very crowded pool deck. (peak season i guess?) Difficult to find chairs unless later in the day when there was more sun anyway. We utilized the shuffleboard courts a few times to kill time before heading to the less crowded pool in the mid afternoon. Unfortunately the bocce courts (we love bocce) were undergoing renovations. The proximity to all is excellent but that’s Marco Island anyway. Initial parking was a little annoying having to lug our stuff down a flight of stairs but after knowing the lay of the land it got easier. For the price we paid at peak season, (not cheap) I’d rather get a house with a lanai and pool and drive to public beaches. Weather was beautiful which always makes a trip to Fla worthwhile regardless of some minor inconveniences.

Great stay !! Clean and well stocked !

My family of 5 (me, my husband and 3 kids) stayed at this condo for 7 nights. It was a great stay! Everything at condo was exactly as described in listing. It was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. We really appreciated the beach cart, cooler on wheels, and beach umbrella!! There were also 4 very nice beach chairs for our use. King bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Balcony was nice and large. Location was as described. I was nervous about being on the 18th floor but honestly wasn’t bad at all. Elevators were very smooth and quick. Had great views of both the gulf on one side and you could see the entire island from entrance on other side….especially beautiful at night! Distance to water does take about 8-10 minutes of a walk from the condo but we knew that when we booked. Not a bad walk though….picked up lots of shells on the way!! We used the pool several times….never too busy and was nice and clean!! Only thing is that pool closes half hour past sunset so was closed by 845 every night. We would have liked to see pool open longer. Only things that were a little confusing was where to pick up keys (I had to call Mark) and where to park at condo ( we had to get parking pass but arrived on a Saturday after office was closed for the day and they are closed on Sunday's so we had to wait until Monday to get pass to park in garage). It also would have been nice to have washer/dryer in unit rather than having to use the pay washer/dryers down the hall but it is a short walk so not a deal breaker. All in all great stay!

Thank you for that wonderful review, Jennifer! The owners did a great job making sure guests have everything they need for a wonderful stay and our cleaners and inspectors take great pride in getting the condo ready for every checkin. As for the pool closing a half hour after sunset, that is a Florida state regulation all condo associations have to abide by. Regarding the key pickup, we do our best to lead guests through the step-by-step checkin instructions and as you noted, we are only a phone call (or text) away if you have any questions or issues finding the lockbox. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family and we hope you will book with us again!
