Harvest House @ Harvest Farm - Idyllic cottage surrounded with mountain views.

Harvest Farm is an 18-acre property located just outside the township of Healesville, overlooking the Healesville Sanctuary and surrounded by mountain views. Harvest Farm has two entirely separate self contained two bedroom cottages - Harvest House and Dairy House. Inside each is two beautifully detailed king size bedrooms, a large bathroom with spa and windows to the garden, fully equipped kitchen and open plan living with the wood fire, complete the cottages.

On a gentle north facing slope, Harvest Farm has a large kitchen garden with guests welcome to pick for their meals and to roam the property and its spacious gardens filled with roses, rhododendrons, decades old camellias and mature trees including a majestic 130 year old oak tree.

Enjoy the green lawns, play ground and tree house for the kids, huge vegetable garden, a spot of cricket or relax on a chair under a shady tree with views to the mountains. When the temperature plummets, light the fire, pour a big glass of red and watch the mists and clouds through the valley.

Harvest House has whitewashed floors, French doors that open onto an expansive deck, barbecue and surrounded by private garden of camellias, roses, huge oaks and mountain views.

Two bedroom self contained cottage, king beds (one can be split), wood fire, open plan living, spa bath.

A former dairy farm, Dairy House is a fully refurbished original farm cottage. Perfect for a romantic break, two couples or small family. Sliding glass door that opens onto a large deck with private barbecue and a cottage garden of huge oaks, roses, trampoline and children's play swing.

A two bedroom self contained cottage, king beds (one can be split), wood fire, open plan living, spa bath.

We had a lovely stay, the house is very pretty and the garden is delightful. We had so much fun picking fruit and veg for our meal from the big, beautiful fruit and veg garden. Drinks under the pergola on a sunny day were also wonderful, and the property is lovely and quiet. The only catch for us was a rather firm mattress, otherwise the rest of the stay was great and if you like a very firm mattress, then even better!

We had a great stay at the Harvest farm house. The house itself was beautifully presented in a sprawling property with it's own lovely garden, the kind my grandmother may have kept. It was a pleasure to call the Harvest farm house home while we enjoyed a sample of what the area has to offer.

Perfect relaxing getaway

Perfect for relaxing and set among beautiful gardens with a mountain backdrop, great that you can also take your furry four legged friend along.A very relaxing and wekk kept farm house close to town but far enough awsy to feel tranquil.

This is Happiness

An impeccably clean and well appointed property with all those little touches that make all the difference. The owners - amd resident dog Bo - went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and were comfortable. Close to town and nearby attractions or just the perfect place to spend time outside in the spacious grounds.

Great getaway for two busy mums

My friend and I were looking for a rejuvenating getaway and break from our busy lives. We were not disappointed. The moment we arrived, we instantly felt relaxed and slipped into a pampering weekend. The cottage was well appointed with everything you need. We especially loved the fire place and split system as a back up. But what really made this experience great was the market quality fruit and veg patch. Karina and Rob invited us to take what we wanted and the variety of produce was amazing. We were even given a dozen fresh eggs from their beautiful chooks. The property is very well maintained with childrens play equipment and cubby house. There’s two cottages to choose from and is ideal for friends and families looking for a getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back.

A Lovely Winter Break

The cottage was cosy and warm and full of character and charm. We loved roaming the property and enjoyed the animals. Our dogs loved playing with Bo. This was a great escape.

Tuscany in Yarra Ranges

Beautiful setting at foot of the forested ranges, the farm is splendidly planted with luscious herbs, veggies and orchard fruits! We feasted on fresh vegetables and delicious eggs from very friendly chickens. The Harvest House is charming, old world weatherboard with modern facilities. Located only 5 minutes from bustling Healesville but one felt as though we were in isolated countryside - plenty to do nearby and literally dozens of top class vineyards within a 15 minute drive. Loved it!

Delightful cottage in the country - explore the Yarra Valley or just relax in lovely garden setting

Harvest house where we stayed is one of two cottages on the property, and being close to Healesville is an easy drive from Melbourne. Surrounded by gardens it's very private and had a lovely ambiance. The cottage is well set-up with what you need for a relaxing stay, including a generous breakfast basket and a comfortable bed. We liked that the owners allowed us to take our house-trained pooch with us.

We had a lovely time at the Dairy House. It is a lovely home on a beautiful property. There is a veggie garden and citrus orchard that you are encouraged to take produce from. There are also fresh eggs from the chickens. We had a lovely time

Having reached that time in life when the kids have grown up and moved out, we asked ourselves "what next"? After a life time of living in wonderful Melbourne (other than stints overseas and interstate), we decided it was time for a "tree change". Where the air is clear, the night sky bright with stars, where we hear birds and frogs rather than traffic, and where our gaze is only interrupted by mountains and trees. A place where time slows down and we can connect more deeply with people and nature. And where we can share our piece of paradise with guests looking for some respite from the everyday bustle of life.

Only an hour or so out of Melbourne, just a few minutes drive from the delightful township of Healesville, we are perfectly located in the middle of the Yarra Valley and the myriad attractions it offers to visitors. Harvest Farm itself is simply one of the most scenic and idyllic places. The expansive ornamental and vegetable gardens, the sounds of our chickens, ducks, cows and sheep calling to each other, the majestic trees and mountain views, and the privacy afforded to our guests in their own self-contained cottages, make this a place that is truly unique.
