Whether you prefer to unwind indoors or outdoors, the choice is yours. Nestled in nature, away from the city's hustle and bustle, this semi-detached waterfront unit offers privacy with its own private entrance and dedicated backyard. A protective seawall ensures the shoreline's stability, allowing you to fully enjoy the open waters.

Exclusive & Private Stay
This is one of two semi-detached units, designed for complete privacy. Guests have full access to their own backyard and amenities, with no shared spaces between units.

House Rules:

Primary renter must be 25+ years old.

No smoking or parties allowed.


Family-Friendly Additions (Available Upon Request):

Check-Out Instructions:

Check-out is by 11 AM.

Kitchen to be left clean, dishes washed and returned.

Towels and linens can be left in the shower or laundry area.


Indoor Etiquette:

Outdoor shoes not recommended indoors.

Clean indoor shoes welcomed.

Children are not permitted to draw on walls or mirrors.


Fire Pit Safety:

Fire must be fully extinguished with water after use.



Septic System Guidelines:

Do not dispose of wipes or hygiene products in the toilet.


Pet Policy:

Guests must clean up after their pets.

Ensure the yard and home remain tidy.

Pets should not be on furniture or beds.

Additional cleaning or damage caused by pets will result in charges from the damage deposit.


Waterfront Note:
While the property is on the water, it does not have a sandy beach. A protective rock seawall prevents erosion, with direct stair access to the water.

The property is on the water but its not a sandy beach. There's coast wall of rocks to protect the property from soil erosion.

Great location, close to many beaches. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets right out back. The unit is well appointed and clean, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway.

Our stay was wonderful. We attended the Atlantic Ballet by the Ocean and coming home to Cabin on the Clouds capped a wonderful New Brunswick experience.

Beautiful place!

We had such a wonderful stay, the property was beautiful and the sunrise over the ocean was stunning as was the sky full of stars in the evening.The amenities provided us with all we needed for a comfortable stay and our hosts were so kind and accomodating. We would highly recommend this vacation rental!

Awesome prooerty and view

We had a lovely 3 days at On The Clouds Cottage. This was definately one of the cleanest we have ever rented. Had an opportunity to meet the Host, she was very nice. We spent Sunday driving along the Acadian Coadtline., beautiful. Had awesome clams, scallops and lobster. Planning return in the fall.

The view is amazing. I would say if you are alone just with yourself to relax, it’s a great place. Smaller than expected (more like one open room bathroom). Not isolated, bathroom was freezing and temperature over all was very hard to keep comfortable. Only took one shower and ran out of hot water 2 mins into it and had to finish and rinse with *freezing* water. Over all the calm and view and closeness to the water was making up for it.

Water front at your door

I never experienced living water front. Lots of sunshine and Mother Nature at your door step. Lovely peace of heaven for a great price with all you need. Got to explore all nearby areas.

Beautiful scenic spot on the water

Beautiful cottage overlooking oyster farming and abundant waterfowl on a bay just north of Shédiac. Quiet and well-appointed private with zero noise from anyone! Great outdoor privacy plus a great field to play ball with our active little dog. Located a few miles out of town assured peace and quiet yet close enough to grab groceries or a meal. We stationed here for visiting lots of sights on day trips. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet comfortable time

Quaint comfortable space, well equipped.. No beach but excellent view of sunrise and mussel farm from the living room. Reasonable distance for day trips to Hopewell Rocks, Moncton or bridge to PEI.

Small space… Great view

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. So light and bright and clean. We were confused as to which door we were supposed to use. We went to the host’s house which is right next-door. She was kind and helped us get in. It’s not a big place but it has everything you will need. Just come relax and enjoy the view.

Pas du tout apprécié qu’on prenne 25 dans mon compte banquaire pour le chat. La propriétaire n’a jamais mentionné ce montant lorsque j’ai fait l’inscription. Par contre elle a indiqué que les animaux de compagnie de petites taille étaient acceptés.Très malhonnête qu’après mon départ elle rajoute un 25 à cla facture. Le logement a été laissé propre.La propriétaire n’a pas été correct en ne mentionnant pas l’extra 25 pour l’animal

A lovely place

We stayed for five nights and really enjoyed the location. At the end of the day, the view from the balcony made us enjoy our late-afternoon drinks. It's the perfect spot to alternate between the beaches of Bouctouche and Shediac, as it's located between the two towns.

Cabin in the clouds est situé devant la petite baie face à l’île et le cap de Cocagne. La baie est calme, face à une culture d’huître. Parfait pour la méditation ( yoga tous les matins dans mon cas). À 20 km, il y a le ville de Bouctouche ou les dunes sont un incontournable. Cuisine bien équipée, climatisation, grande propreté. Merci !

La propriété est bien tenue en général et tout ce dont vous avez besoin est disponible. La maison est confortable, jolie et la vue est superbe. Il est facile de visiter les alentours en voiture, la maison est bien située. Ne manquez pas de manger des huitres fraiches de la poissonnerie du village qui sont cultivées sous vos yeux devant la maison!
