The Space:

Casa Pepe is a recently remodeled spectacular apartment located in Condado. The best part of it all… you can walk everywhere! This 4 bedroom 2 bath apartment enjoys a great convenient location in the heart of Condado. Find top-notch restaurants, bars, beaches, supermarkets, and a hospital just blocks away. Features a full kitchen, a bright and spacious living room, and an exclusive outdoor dining area; ideal to enjoy your morning coffee, lunch, or just gather with your group/family. You will never forget your stay in this boutique AirBnB and its perfect location!



This property offers a generator & water tank in case of an interruption in electrical or water service. Also features a shared laundry room which is convenient for an extended stay. 



Casa Pepe has a camera at the front door - the device does not record, however, it transmits a live feed during reservations, for security purposes. Please note that there are no cameras inside the unit.



 

LIVING AREA



Before entering the main entrance you are greeted with a beautiful outdoor foyer with a dining table/sitting area. Casa Pepe's decor is eclectic and mid-century inspired combined. Its relaxing living room features a comfortable built-in L-shaped sofa, reading chairs, and a media console with a flat-screen TV. Also has air condition throughout the entire apartment and WIFI to enjoy. The living area is conveniently located in front of the colorful modern kitchen. You will notice colorful, unique abstract paintings from local artists; they are an essential part of the beautiful decor at Casa Pepe. 



 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Casa Pepe is a 4 bedroom apartment. All 4 bedrooms feature beautiful built-in wood frames with queen size beds with nightstands with individual lamps. Alongside the 3 queen bedrooms, there is a full bathroom located in the hallway. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with 2 personal nightstands, a beautiful rattan stand-alone garment rack to accommodate your belongings, and a full-size private on-suite modern bathroom with a shower. 



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.



 

KITCHEN



Casa Pepe features a one-of-a-kind super convenient kitchen. It's modern, simple, yet eclectic finishes with its bold lime green backsplash and white & wood cabinets with white quartz countertops. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs. Includes a full fridge, microwave, toaster, accessories, and coffee maker.



 

GETTING AROUND & PARKING



If you are planning on renting a car to explore the island, this property includes one (1) assigned parking spot. If you plan on staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, you can also move around via Uber. 





SHARED AREA W. UNIT NEXT DOOR



There is a shared area with the unit next door, which we also manage, that has a washer and dryer available for your convenience.





LOCATION



Casa Pepe is located in Condado, Puerto Rico. This is considered a prime location in San Juan. From Casa Pepe, you are a 3-minute walk away from the sand and within walking distance to some of the best dining options Puerto Rico has to offer. Forget the rental car because from here, you can walk or Uber to everything! The apartment is approx. 10 minutes from the airport, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops all within walking distance.

There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites:



Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Casa Pepe. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach.

Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita.

Explore Calle Loiza, which is blocks from the apartment. This up and coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start off with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping at Sabrina or Azucena for sophisticated Puerto Rican food.

Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination.

Spend a day in Old San Juan. Casa Pepe is a 10 min Uber ride from the oldest city in all the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy!



Other Things to Note:

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 8 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Starting 5 days before arrival, your designated Property Manager will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have prior to arrival. Family friendly in a great neighborhood

We did a quick two night stay with 7 adults. The place was really clean, well appointed and perfect for a group. The neighborhood was nice to walk in with several bars restaurants and a beach within blocks. I would highly recommend!

Great place in a great area

Walking distance to the beach and a couple of restaurants. House was comfortable for 2 kids and 6 adults.Kevin was great as well.

Beauty and Comfort!

Place was recently renovated with a modern and clean look. We went on a family vacation with teenagers and the place was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. Proximity to local shops, bakery/diner and old San Juan were a plus. The house could use some area rugs in main living area to warm up the space. Windows need screens to keep out the bugs. We did not open for that reason but non made it inside. All rooms had ACs and fans which was a plus and the two bathrooms definitely were a win. The front porch lend itself for early morning coffee and light reading. Met the owner of the house who was friendly and well mannered. The kitchen / dining area made it easy for a good breakfasts and or snacks; and the laundry room was convenient. Our Overall experience was a good one and will recommend it to anyone. Thank you
