Wonderful Stay!

Our stay was great, the home is very cozy and literally has almost anything in it supply wise you could need! We felt right at home! Our kids enjoyed having their own rooms, the only thing I would suggest is a TV in each of the rooms as none of the rooms have Tv's in them; only the living room. Overall we will definitely stay here again as it's 1/4 mile away from our family members house!

Modern with all the necessities

Fantastic property near Higgins Lake. Just a few miles to the South State park launch and less than a mile to the road end. Beds were comfortable. Well stocked with all the amenities. Super clean.

Family Christmas

It was great! We celebrated family Christmas in a location central to all of us. The house was big enough for the whole family and had everything we could possibly need. It was even set up for the Holliday! After discussing with everyone they would like to stay here again!

Lovely House

This house is exactly as the pictures present it. Nicely decorated, perfectly clean, comfortable furniture and beds, and an amazing kitchen with all the equipment you could possibly need. On top of all that Lindsay was very responsive. It is also a three minute drive to the XC Ski HG, so we got a lot of skiing in. We Loved it and will be back!

Home away from home

Love all the amenities! You thought of everything a person would need. I feel it was nicer than my own home except for a couple of nice comfy recliners to put my feet up after being on the go, all day. This is the second time we rented this home. Only lacking the lake😩

GREAT Property!!

This property exceeded our expectations!!! The décor was warm, inviting and up to date. My family absolutely loved the kitchen; well stocked - no need to bring a thing! Also, the house had a First-Aid kit that was handy (grandson skinned his knee). The backyard is lined with trees giving some privacy and large for yard games. A HUGE thank you to the Host for opening up your home to our family! The clean spacious home, definitely contributed to making our family vacation complete ~ we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome basket was a nice addition. Higgins lake was beautiful. Crystal clear water of aqua blue and dark blue water depending on depth. A boaters and waders paradise. The roads around the lake were great for cycling. Jason was very responsive and great to work with.

The place was clean and nice. Enjoyed the stay. Had four men for a four day golf outing. A few suggestions. The hall bathroom toilet seat doesn’t stay up. The big screen tv was great but doesn’t have local tv or major networks. May be worth getting Hulu +. Nice appliances and furniture and would stay again and recommend.

Very enjoyable stay!

The property was as described. There was an abundance of dishware, utensils, towels, and so on. The AC was wonderful and so was the very hot water for showers. We utilized the firepit and the grill. The neighborhood was very quiet and quaint. We felt very safe. We had our brand new boat and all the gear parked in the driveway and had no fear of anything happening to it. The drive to the South Higgins Lake entrance is less than 7 minutes. We were very pleased with this property and would stay again.

Very nice place, clean, homey atmosphere. Close to the Michigan Firefighters Memorial and festival. I would definitely recommend to other firefighters going to the event next year. Wished we could stay longer and enjoy the lake also!

Family Vacation

This property was as described and very clean. We enjoyed the beach by day and cooking family meals and campfires at night. We did not enjoy our lack of knowledge for the 80s version of Trivial Pursuit! I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Everything lived up to the expectations and more. Quite spacious, definitely clean, and the location was very good. Only a minor blip checking in but the owners were very apologetic and it was non-issue. Definitely recommend this home for anyone seeking a comfortable location.

This property went above our expectations, The rooms were even nicer than they looked in the pictures. The owners left a nice welcome basket and the little extras that you seem to forget were supplied. The house was very clean and well stocked with pots and pans and etc. The neighborhood was very quiet and the backyard porch , benches and fire pit were put to good use. Overall a 5 star rating. Gorgeous home!

This house was SO comfortable, clean, and classy. We are a group of 4 adults on a birthday celebration weekend and everything was perfect. The hosts truly thought of everything and we could not have been more impressed in every way. I can’t wait to come back and take more advantage of the area, this time we were so comfortable in the house that we never left!

Quick weekend getaway

We stayed at this house near Higgins Lake to see all the fall colors up north. This was a very clean, stylish house that fit our family of six perfectly. It was a good base camp for heading to Gaylord and checking out the lake for future stays. I highly recommend!
