Piar’s Paradise is located right on the bend of the Columbia River, engulfed in the views of the Rocky Mountains. From your private you can watch as the Eagles fish or Paragliders fill the sky as they take off from Mount 7. Your backyard allows you to see Mother Nature at her finest as you are surrounded with an amazing wildlife scene from Eagles, Great Blue Heron, and more!

Please Note that the CP Rail Train Tracks are about 200 Feet away from the property situated between our property and the Columbia River. We are about 6 Kilometers South from the CP Rail Yard located within the Town of Golden. The trains move quite slowly as they are either just arriving from their destination, or just leaving from the Rail Yard. We provide Ear Plugs for any light sleepers.

After we got settled in we felt comfortable with our temporary home. It was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but it was clean and cozy; good enough for 1-2 people.

Fantastic mountain getaway

Clean, modern and well equipped unit. Perfect couples space for a weekend in the mountains. We enjoyed the location a short drive south of Golden - quiet neighbourhood but all the services just 5 minutes away. Hard to beat the river and mountain views. We will be back!

Comfy suite

We enjoyed this little suite. Overall, very comfy and had most everything we needed. We loved the lights over the bed, and the bed itself was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the full size appliances. Good wifi too. The biggest issue we had was proximity to the railroad tracks and the trains could be really loud. We also didn't get the number of the unit when we got the address. We guessed right. 😊 We were happy here and appreciated the kindness of the owner.

Perfect overnight stay in Golden BC

This property is immaculate. Very confortable bed; extra clean washroom; well stocked kitchen; cute little balcony off the bedroom; ideal for a couple with no kids; the owner was very friendly and easy to contact. Thanks Taj!!!

Zentral, ruhig, modern!

Wir waren fast eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft und waren super zufrieden! Ohne Auto lässt sich von da aus nur wenig machen, aber das war uns vorher klar und ist daher eher ein Pluspunkt, weil die Gegend ruhig und Idyllisch war. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Zum BANFF Nationalpark braucht man ca. 45 Minuten, was in Kanada aber absolut keine Entfernung ist. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein riesiger Herd + Ofen auf dem es sogar spass macht zu kochen. Die Wohnung wirkte als wäre sie erst vor kurzem renoviert worden. Sehr schön eingerichtet, man fühlt sich "wie zuhause". Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmerfenster ist einmalig. Wir werden diese Wohnung definitiv wieder buchen.

Nice private apartment close to town.

This is a very nice, modern apartment just south of town. It’s very clean with free laundry facilities in the building. It’s 5 minutes from town and 2 grocery stores and 20-25 minutes to Kicking Horse. The bed was very comfortable and the community is very quiet. I highly recommend.

Nice place in quiet area

New apartment, very well equipped kitchen with new cookware set including WOK. Great for those who like to cook especially oriental dishes or simple stir-fries.

I was born and raised in Golden, BC. My family has been involved in the rental business for over 50 years from my grandparents, to my parents, and now my brother and I. There are so many hidden Gems in Golden, and my family and I wanted to show off this beautiful town to the rest of the world, while at the same time, meeting people from all over the world as this is what we truly strive for. I currently Bartend at one of the top bars, Hudsons Canada’s Pub - Downtown locates in Calgary, Alberta. Working there for 6 years has allowed myself to continue to meet amazing people and at the same time, build great relationships which I would love to continue to do so via Airbnb! Our goal is to make our places feel like YOUR home, and not someone else’s. With that being said, should you book with us, please always leave us a suggestion on how we can improve, or how we could make your stay better!

My grandfather had built this building in 1971 to which we have spent the last 2 years doing a complete renovation which included stripping the building to the frame and replacing, adding, and upgrading everything.

We wanted to keep a piece of the history of the building by repurposing the wood in the demolition, refinishing it and having some talented artists turn the recycled wood into headboards, the coffee table, shelving, and closet shelving.

Any wood you see in the building that is now a show piece, is actually from the demolition.

This property is arguably in the best location in Golden. With being so close to the Columbia River, you literally watch Eagles fish in front of your eyes, no binoculars needed. In addition to the Eagles, you have a high chance of seeing beavers and other wildlife such as black bears, moose, deer, Great Blue Heron, and much more; all at the safe distance of your suite/property.

The large deck and wrap around deck give you the best view that cant be beat. On one side you are looking at Mount 7 where Paragliders take off and soar high over the area. Walk around your deck and you can enjoy looking at the gorgeous Columbia River and Rocky Mountains. It is peaceful and quiet, with a lovely neighborhood.
