We appreciate your feedback and are sorry for any inconvenience experienced during your stay. Initially, a full refund was provided after the cancellation of a summer booking. Upon rebooking for the winter season, we promptly accommodated your request for an additional TEVO heater to ensure your comfort. Concerning the ant issue, which arose after food was left out overnight, we provided eco-friendly deterrents as a preventive measure. We attended and helped resolve this immediately. Historically, such pest issues are rare at our property. Our property is equipped with certified electricity and an adequately sized hot water system. Pipi Palace is a quintessential New Zealand bach, known for its rustic charm rather than luxury amenities. Under these circumstances, a refund was not deemed appropriate. We value your feedback as it helps us continue to improve our guest experience.

Pipi palace’s presentation of Queen bed tastefully made for one’s arrival / bathroom towels, to a fully equipped kitchen also included incidentals for one's stay of Cuppacino or Flat white sachets/ tea & bathroom soap. Pipi Palace is an iconic vintage kiwi bach and as per description suggests to anyone “if wishing for palatial thrills then this is not the place ".
