Welcome to the High Tide Retreat. Unwind on the expansive deck or watch a storm roll in off the Pacific from your comfy living room. Stargaze as you relax in the sparkling hot tub.



The main level boasts an incredible blend of living, dining and kitchen space with ten foot ceilings, warm maple wood floors and wall to wall windows, bathed in natural light. Its the perfect mix of style and comfort for guests who want to experience a Pacific Northwest.



On the main level there are three bedrooms; two with queen beds, and the master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom.



Create simple or elaborate meals in the fully appointed chef's kitchen, and check out the dining room's art wall with back-lit custom glass creations by a beloved local artist.



Relax on the lower level where there is a fantastic family room with multiple cozy couches, an additional pull-out queen bed, ottomans, and a giant T.V. with a professional sound system all set up to enjoy your favorite streaming options.



The High Tide Retreat is also a paradise for nature lovers. Delight in the flight of an eagle overhead or wake up to a family of deer outside your window. Just 100 yards from your front door are trails to explore that go deep into the National Forest. There are walking trails and biking paths to the beach, the dunes, and the Nestuca River. Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, Bob Straub State Park, downtown Pacific City and the Pelican Brewery are also just a short distance away.



With its enormous deck, hot tub and so many other amenities, there is almost nothing like the High Tide Retreat on the Oregon Coast.



Parking/Occupancy: Please be aware that a maximum of 2 cars are allowed at this rental. There is no street parking allowed due to HOA guidelines. Additionally, the maximum occupancy of 8 should never be exceeded.



*This home has security cameras at the entrance and above garage for security. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.



NOTE: As of August 2026 a new home build is occurring next door. Construction hours vary.

Very beautiful, unique spot. The hot-tub was so nice and there were tons of sweet reading spots by all the windows! We had a wonderful time, and communication was very easy. The only issue preventing it from a 5 stars was the super bright flashing lights on the fire alarms in the rooms that cant be turned off. Bring a sleep mask and its perfect!!

Hard to beat the view from this wonderfully situated home. We were able to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks from the deck and would wake up to the Haystack saying hello every morning. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the location is only a few minutes from the beach and town. All in, this was an amazing stay for our family of 4 over the holiday weekend.

My children and I LOVED this place. It’s gorgeous with incredible views. We all loved the hot tub and sitting around the outdoor fireplace. Management was very responsive and friendly. The house itself was well stocked, super clean, and had very cool decor! The kids asked if we could stay there every time we come :)

Beautiful place with great views. There were 6 adults and two small kids and we had plenty of space. Check-in and out was easy and we enjoyed there wasn’t a laundry list of things to do when we checked out.

Ocean View Bliss

We loved this home. One of the top 3 homes we’ve stayed in. The layout, the view, the outdoor deck, the kitchen, the neighborhood…..all top notch. Check in and out were a breeze and we made wonderful family memories here. Highly, highly recommend!

Stunning View

Our family of 5, along with 3 of our kids’ friends stayed at the High Tide Retreat to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday and to ring in the new year. The home was comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and the view is hard to beat. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again.

Beautiful view

The home was perfect for our weekend exploring the coast. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. We were glad to have the self check in since we arrived late. The view from the back porch is stunning. We ate out during our stay, however the kitchen was fully equipped had we wanted to cook at the home.

Great stay in Pacific City!

Our stay at this rental was exceptional. The house offered breathtaking views that were even more stunning in person, and it was perfectly situated just a short drive or nice walk from all the major attractions, including the beach, boating/fishing on the river, and excellent restaurants. The fully equipped house had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and my young kids had an absolute blast. This rental provided an unforgettable family getaway. We can't wait to return!

Just as advertised

This property was perfect. Amazing views of the ocean. The kids loved the hot tub. Don’t miss the small trails around the property. Beautiful. Pacific City doesn’t have as much to do as other towns but it’s centrally located. We went north all the way to Seaside and south down to Florence. Great vacation.

Beautiful inside and out!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The view from the house is just fantastic, and because the house is so thoughtfully designed, you get those great views from the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the master bedroom, the deck, and the hot tub. The art inside the home adds a touch of beauty that just gives this place a little something extra and special. Well equipped kitchen, and the dining table is big enough for a large group/family to gather for a meal, which we appreciate. Great service and attention from the hosts, too. And the notebook guide for the unit gave us a tip for a hike that we didn’t know about which became a highlight of the trip. Easy strong recommendation.

Beachy Perfection

Pictures do not do this house justice. From the moment you walk through the front door you’re greeted to jaw dropping panoramic views of the Pacific ocean and Haystack Rock. The open floor plan was perfect for our multigenerational family to reconnect while cooking, eating, playing games and doing puzzles. The huge deck with fireplace was the icing on the cake at the end of our day after beachcombing, hiking or riding our rented e-bikes around the multiple beach trails in the area. This property is lovingly maintained and furnished. The property manager was very responsive. It is truly a gem.

We booked this home largely because of the beautiful setting and views toward Cape Kiwanda shown in the listing. Unfortunately, what we arrived to was materially different from what was advertised.There is a house being built directly in front of the property, where the listing photos show an open view. This was not disclosed before booking. During our stay, workers spent approximately three days installing a roof, with ongoing hammering and construction noise. Had we known, we would not have booked this property at this price.Communication was also disappointing. We were contacted twice during our stay—once to move our car and once to take the trash to the curb—and promptly complied with both requests. Meanwhile, when we messaged asking for sheets for the downstairs sofa, it took two days to receive a response. Fortunately, we had sleeping bags in our car.We raised the construction issue during our stay and were told senior management would be contacted and someone would get back to us. We checked out three days ago and have still received no follow-up.The home has positive qualities, but the current view and setting are not accurately represented in the listing, and the lack of disclosure and follow-through left us very disappointed.

The view from the house was stunning!! Beautiful interior, lots of floor to ceiling windows in living room, dining room & master bedroom. Large dinning area with a nook at one end perfect for reading or relaxing & enjoying the view. Beautiful glass back lit “pictures” inset in dining room wall. Downstairs was great for family room & laundry, with an additional half bath. A lovely place to enjoy a stay at the beach!
