Heritage Gastown Loft w/ Hot Tub & Steam Room

Hipspace rentals presents this custom designed loft with the perfect mix of elegance and comfortability; ideal for a couple's retreat, a family visit, or a business trip. A modern New York style loft, 1000+ square foot suite offers a large outdoor patio, private hot tub, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, steam room, private work space and more.

The suite is close to many great shops, and attractions as well as Rogers Arena, BC Place, Vancouver Convention Centre, the Sea Bus, and the Skytrain to the airport. We are located in the entertainment district so there are acclaimed restaurants and bars all around us and weekends can get noisy from the street and music in the area.

Other details to note:

Depending on the season, we may not approve booking requests that leave a one night vacancy before or after the request. Please inquire about 2-night bookings. Minimum 4-night bookings are required during the Christmas/New Years holiday, unless approved otherwise.

The unit is located on the second floor - there is no elevator.
The loft stairs inside the suite are steep and open. Not recommended for younger or unattended children, or people with mobility challenges.

If you require a pack and play we have one that must be reserved in advance and is based on availability.

One off-site secure underground parking spot is included with this rental. The spot is located in a separate building around the corner from us. Detailed instructions are provided in your guest guide upon booking.

Pets are not allowed unless authorized by the owner prior to check in. Service animals are only permitted when assisting someone with a disability.

The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each guest checks out. It takes 12-20 hours (depending on the season) to reach temperature so may not be ready for use until the following day.

**It is better to send an inquiry rather than a booking request if you have any questions or have not read our details thoroughly**

This is an old building with high ceilings. Our AC and fans allow for some cooling and circulation, which provides comfort during the summer months. Cooling below 24 C (78F) during the hottest weather periods can be challenging. If you require cooler temperatures you may want to consider alternative accommodations.

Only registered guests are allowed on the premise without permission; children must always be supervised. Unregistered guests my be evicted and fined.
Changing/removing cables from AV equipment is prohibited; a rewiring fee may be incurred. No candles of any kind! $250 charge for lost parking FOB.
Late check-outs (not pre-arranged) will incur a $60 per hour fee, min one hour. A $30 fee is charged for lost items that we return mail to guests.

Great place near lots of restaurants and bars. There are stairs and no elevator so it your bags are heavy it’s something to think about. We would stay here again.

Great location, owners went over and about for us. Communications were very much appreciated. Place was immaculate. I have stayed in another of their units before and it definitely lived up to my last experience.

Quick Gastown getaway

My wife and I rented this property for a quick trip to Vancouver to take in a concert. The property was perfect, just like the pictures. The host was excellent to deal with. The hot tub and steam shower make it a perfect place to stay.

Pamper yourself in Vancouver

We loved our stay at this property! It is a cute little loft in the Gastown area of Vancouver and while it is over an Irish Pub you would never know it! Noise levels were low and the location was easy to get to from the cruise ship terminal. The hot tub and steam shower were incredible after spending a day biking around Vancouver. Would definitely stay here again

Great place

Loved the apartment. Great furnishings as well as kitchen utensils and supplies. The hot tub was great, very relaxing after a day of touring. Loved the steam shower. Host was very helpful.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed here and we really enjoyed the space, it was super clean and comfortable. Everything you need to enjoy cooking a meal if you want and we especially enjoyed the use of the hot tub on those rainy Vancouver days! Great communication with the hosts. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when the chance came up!

Exceptional

The owners appear to have thought of everything, from supplying bath products to having a nicely appointed kitchen with great supplies. The use of space incl the deck hot tub was excellent, and the access to primary spots was terrific. I highly recommend you stay here!

Vancouver vacation

My husband and I spent about 2 weeks in BC, the last 5 days being in this beautiful loft in Gastown. We have been to Vancouver once before, the loft is in safe location, countless bars and restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride. The loft was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and they even allowed us an early checkin to drop our luggage. We definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back again.

Nice property

Really enjoyed it. Very clean and nice amenities. The area is a tad rough, but we had no issues with that and there are great places to eat all around. We would stay here again. Felt very safe during the day. I’d walk in a group and not alone late at night. Hot tub and shower are both great perks.

Amazing space!

The loft apartment was stunning. Sleek and modern with every conceivable amenity. Private hot tub was a huge bonus. Steam shower, tub for two, wood burning stove, very comfortable bed. Can’t say enough good stuff about. Location was excellent. Restaurants and bars just steps from the front door. We will be back.

Rooftop Gastown Great!

We were pleased with the beautiful setting and practical use of this unit! The outdoor area was very clean and comfortable and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere among a wonderfully vibrant community. Emma was very friendly and welcoming to our needs! We plan to visit Vancouver again and we will definitely be back here! Exceeded my expectations!

Prettier than the pictures

Crazy cool space. Admittedly, it sits over a super-popular Irish bar, but it's very well-insulated and so unless it's a Friday night Canucks playoff game (which we experienced), all good and quiet (especially the upstairs bedroom that was an entire floor away from the bar). Well-appointed, modern, yet historic; very interesting and totally unique space. Mei-Ling was an exceptional host. Highly recommend.

Spacious loft with lots of amenities

We had a wonderful 8 night stay in Vancouver. This loft is bigger than it looks in the photos. The hot tub on the deck was so wonderful after long days of walking in the city. And the giant shower/steam room was heaven! There were thoughtful touches like bottled water in the refrigerator, ample coffee/tea, large towels specifically for the hot tub, and high quality shampoo/soap/lotion, etc. The loft is in the middle of countless restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops. It is very walkable to Canada Place (where you can catch a free bus to the spectacular Capilano Suspension Bridge Park), downtown, and with a few more minutes, walkable to hockey stadium and the wonderful little ferries along False Creek that take you to Granville Island, Yaletown, and the gorgeous Kitsilano Beach, among other places. It is also close to Water Street Station where you can catch the easy subway ride to the airport for about $4. As others have commented, the neighborhood is slightly sketchy early in the morning, and we are early risers. However no one bothered us in the slightest and didn't even seem to notice us. They owners were very communicative, and checked in on us (via VRBO message) a couple of times. We fell in love with British Columbia!

Eddie and Marv are brothers who originated in California, then moved to Vancouver, Canada when they were young. Both love Vancouver, but always longed for their California roots. So they decided to enjoy the best of both worlds. And also a new one. The pair own, design and renovate special spaces in Vancouver, San Diego and Las Vegas. They make it their lifestyle to travel in between the homes, constantly improve them, and share them with others. Eddie is snowboarder, rock climber, and sax player. Marv is an avid golfer, vegan, and sport enthusiast. Both Eddie and Marv have traveled all over the world. They hope that you will enjoy your time in one their great spaces!
