Anchors Aweigh - Meredith Lodging

This is an oceanfront home with some unbeatable qualities and windows to let in awe-inspiring views, spacious rooms, and a light palette that seems to intensify the ocean light. Multiple decks extend out for unobstructed views. Hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, and a fireplace grace the great room, which stretches across the entire front of the home with large windows to the ocean. An upstairs queen suite includes so much room it almost qualifies as a bonus room. With large windows on two sides, it's like a crow's nest with even more spectacular views, especially from the deck. Anchors Aweigh will give you all that you hope for in an Oregon Coast vacation home: views, salt air, space, and convenience to all the places you want to visit. It's a great place to drop your anchor for a stay at the beach!

The view was great! However the house could be cleaner. The floors were still dusty and so were the windows. We were planning to do a bqq but the grill was dirty and we had to go to a park instead. The oven also wasn’t working properly.

Nice place to stay on in Lincoln City.

Some maintenance on the property could be better, but for the price it was a nice, clean place to stay in Lincoln City. Stunning views of the ocean.

This was a comfortable and capacious headquarters for a family Fourth of July getaway. Amazing views and plenty of room, good beach access down a steep set of stairs.

Great place for the whole family

An amazing place to stay. Lots of room for the whole family. Plenty to do for all ages. You can watch the whales spout out the huge windows and go explore the tide pools right out front. We would definitely stay again!

Fun Beach Getaway!

Our trip to the coast was great and the house was wonderful! The photos online are a tad dated but we had a great visit. The property has beautiful views and plenty of amenities to enjoy! Overall, a fun experience!

Dog friendly vacation weekend

We really enjoyed the view the most at this property, it rained a lot but we still got to enjoy it. Beach access is not far away which all could manage. Thanks for letting us bring our dogs as they had a blast as well!

House across the street burned down so there was some smoke that drove us out early.

Beautiful view

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Quiet neighborhood and great views of the beach. The bonus room bed is a hard futon though so I don’t recommend counting on it as an additional bedroom. Queen bed downstairs dipped in the middle and the furniture was older and not as comfortable. We had a nice stay.

Nice location, great views..kitchen not very clean and quality of utensils/ pots and pans questionable..left burner on stove doesn’t work BUT!! We had a great time .. space was nice.

This place has views to die for. We loved watching the whales from the windows and deck. The neighboring properties are a bit… interesting. The house is dated and we had some things broken when we checked in, but the communication was excellent.

Relax & Recharge

We were looking a quite getaway to bring the family and this hit the spot. 3 story home so everyone had their own space when needed, especially the teenagers :) The house was well apportioned and had everything we needed. Of course the main point of going to the beach is for the views and having private access to the beach was awesome.

Large and wonderful views.

House was very large. Allowed great views and independent spaces for everyone to relax. Neighborhood contained some houses that are very run down/in disrepair, especially next door.

The view is what makes this property…it is phenomenal from both inside the house and outside on the extensive deck and staircase down to the beach. Unfortunately, when we arrived the windows were extremely dirty, and when we contacted the property management office to request cleaning, we were told that this was part of the deep clean, and not done prior to each check-in. Since it was weather in which some of us spent most of the time indoors, we opted to clean all of the main windows facing the ocean ourselves. For the price of this property, we feel this should be done prior to guests checking in.The house itself is on three levels, which allows a lot of room and privacy. There is access to an oceanview and the outdoors on each level, which is a nice feature, however the lower level has no bathroom, which is a huge inconvenience. The staircase down to the ocean was very sturdy and well-designed for viewing and resting along the long trek down. It was mostly unobstructed, except for a few areas where foliage was growing through the stairs, and there were a couple broken steps. Also, in order to get to the beach, one has to climb over an area of large rocks…so not accessible to anyone who isn’t physically fit.All in all, however, we had a wonderful time, and enjoyed our stay.

I’m sorry the window cleanliness was a concern during your stay. Since they are so affected by the coastal elements, they do need regular deep cleaning and our team does work hard to make that a priority. While we can't clean them between each stay, housekeeping does address them often and will do so again soon. The lower level’s lack of an en suite bathroom and the rocky path to the beach can be inconvenient for some guests. We are careful to note both of these items on the listing so that our guests can prepare accordingly. If there’s anything else we could have done to earn five stars, please message us through the Vrbo app; we’d really appreciate the feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon!

Overall we had a great stay. It is an Ocean front location with private steps to the beach. Large accommodation with comfortable beds. On the negative side, the home had two frying pans, both which were bad. The washing machine was nonfunctional which we found out 3 days before checking in.
