Welcome to The Pink Retreat - a true vintage beachfront home designed with beach lovers in mind! Brand new POOL with spacious pool deck. The perfect spot to relax after a long day at the beach. Come escape to the shore and let your worries drift away with the rolling waves.

This home is just 4 blocks from Center Street, which features cozy beach restaurants, coffee shops, surf shops, and retail shops! Grab your morning cup of coffee and walk out the door and onto the private boardwalk with direct beach access. Enjoy this one-story home with all of the bedrooms on the main floor; there are steps from outside the ground floor up to the main floor. Our private beachside porch has plenty of seating as well as a daybed swing so you can watch the beachfront views with your loved ones. Wake up early and enjoy the ever-changing sunrises from this comfortable porch!

On the main floor, there is a large common area connected to a beautiful, fully equipped large gourmet kitchen, perfect for cooking with friends and family and relaxing. There are 4 bedrooms on this level: one beachside king, one beachside queen, one queen bedroom, and one king bedroom with a twin bed. Three of the bedrooms have private baths. There is also a half bath connected to the common area and the kitchen, close to the laundry area.

Pool can be heated for $50 per day.

IMPORTANT: Folly Beach has strict rules about noise and events that can result in violations and fines. No events are allowed at this house. This is a residential neighborhood, and we ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbors who live here year-round and our beautiful beaches. This is a strictly NON-SMOKING AND NO PETS HOME No exceptions.

Please note: This property is currently listed for sale, and showings may be required during guest stays. All requests will be made at least 24 hours in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule and minimize any disruption.

We had a lovely stay at the Pink Retreat. It was a rainy week but we still enjoyed the beach view and the house was cozy. Took advantage of the jigsaw puzzles. The last day was sunny so we got to enjoy the porch, and view, to the fullest. We loved the porch, especially the swing! What a great place for a nap! The retreat is truly a beach cottage and well furnished with comfy beds. Very clean. So nice to have beach/pool towels there, especially when you are flying in. We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool but the set up was great.The huge fridge and freezer is a great perk. The driveway was hard to find when we weren’t able to arrive in daylight. Appreciated the lights left on for us very much!

From the minute we walked in we were in love. The combination of 1950’s charm (when the original cottage was built) and modern convenience coupled with the amazing decorating made this beach house my all time favorite. The beds were comfortable, the towels were plush, the kitchen supplies terrific. We honestly didn’t want for anything. I even slept on the swinging porch bed twice waking up one night at 3 AM to a sky so full of stars I was speechless. We were not ready to go home and will try hard to get back soon. Oh! And I almost forgot the pool. Ahhhh, it’s fab!!!!! Thanks to everyone for a great stay.

This was our first trip to Folly Beach, and it was indeed beautiful - traffic is horrendous, but the beach is amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Both the owner and the local management company were very responsive, kind, and accommodating.However, after spending more than 30-years-worth of ocean-front vacationing at Holden Beach in North Carolina, this cottage was much smaller than those to which we have grown accustomed.

A great stay at Folly Beach

My wife and I am 4 friends spent 5 wonderful days at the house. The house was great, the setting spectacular, and the rental team fantastic and wonderfully accommodating. We would love to stay there again.

A perfect stay in paradise!

We had the most incredible time at the Pink Retreat in Folly Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the comforts of a luxury getaway while still feeling cozy and welcoming.The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach and a short walk to local shops, restaurants, and the pier. We loved waking up to ocean views and spending evenings on the porch listening to the waves. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to enjoy meals at home.Our hosts were responsive, kind, and thoughtful—they clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have a five-star experience. We truly didn’t want to leave!If you’re thinking about visiting Folly Beach, Pink Retreat is the place to stay. Perfect

This place is understated, but had everything we needed for a perfect stay. You know a place is clean when even the baseboards are clean! The hosts were incredibly responsive when we noticed one of the bedroom doors was broken - they had a repair guy there to fix it within 2 hours! The location was perfect and the back porch was an amazing place to spend the evenings with a cocktail before dinner. Hopefully, we will be back!

Beautiful Beach Cottage with a stunning back porch view

We had 3 generations staying at the beach house for an end of summer family vacation. The kitchen was well appointed and made it great for cooking, which unfortunately we did more than we planned due to Tropical Storm Debby. The beach house is an older cozy cottage with lots of charm. However, it also has been updated with newer appliances and the bathrooms all have great showers with quick hot water etc. The layout has the bedrooms on the outside and the common area in the center which was perfect for family game time, meals and movie night. The view and access to the beach cannot be beat! Communication from the hosts was great. We would highly recommend it!

Not fancy just fabulous

House is older but sufficiently equipped. Loved the open floor plan. Bedrooms very comfortable and 2 had views of the ocean. Back porch overlooking the ocean was incredible. An oversize rope swing was my seat for a good part of the stay. I have not relaxed to that degree in a long time. I would definitely recommend the pink retreat.

Great retreat with young family

The Pink Retreat was a good option for our extended family. We had our 2 grandsons ages 6 weeks and 2 year old. The ocean front property has 2 gates to secure the walkway to the water and a wonderful bed swing on the porch which we used every day with the new born. My daughter has already ask to return next year.

Fantastic May24 Week at Pink Retreat

We had a super family vacation at the Pink Retreat while also visiting our daughter Brooke who works as a Charleston police officer. The house was perfect for 7 adults and 2 grandsons. The back deck was excellent to allow the boys enclosed play and also offering a wonderful ocean view. The host Cindy was so nice and accomodating when we were faced with a potential beach access dilemma due to unforeseen beach repllenishment activity. One of the best overall rentals we ever had!

Excellent stay!

This is an incredible place. We love Folly, and are now spoiled for life because we could not imagine staying anywhere else. The Pink Retreat is beautifully updated while keeping the old cottage charm, plus has the added bonus of being right on the water. Perfect for a family with 2 kids, a set of grandparents and an aunt & uncle. Great kitchen with excellent cookware, and hosts are fantastic. Will absolutely stay again!

Will definitely go back!

This house is perfect, we cannot wait to go back! Location is 10-15 minute walking to the Main Street, and 20 minutes drive into downtown Charleston. You cannot replace the beach location with anywhere else. Having our own walkway to the beach was priceless and safe for the kids. The owners were super nice, checkin and checkout was easy. The cleanliness was the best part. It’s an old southern house that is modernized and classy, and plenty big enough and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. All of us had the best week and we cannot wait to go back to the Pink Retreat!

Picture perfect!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Pink Retreat! It was the perfect, relaxing home away from home that our family needed. The house was perfect, beautifully decorated, and functional. Each larger bedroom having it's own personal bath was great and the large living and dining/kitchen area allowed us all to be together. The back porch and walkway leading to the beach was divine and our personal favorite, the large porch swing was perfect for morning tea watching the sun some up. We enjoyed playing and walking the beach. The latches on the gates made the safe feel safe for our young child. So close to town and to the park at the end of the street, and a quick drive into Charleston- the location couldn't be better. The whole team was great to communicate with, and were so quick with anything we needed. I hope to visit again someday!

Great House on the Beach

My family of 5 rented the house for a week during Christmas. We were very pleased and would visit again. Before we arrived there was a large rain storm that caused flooding around Charleston. The property manager reached out to us with pictures and assurances that everything was ok on the island. We very much appreciated the proactive contact and throughout the rental process the manager remained communicative. We have found over the years that you can rent a beach house and find that they are a little bit dirty. Sand under beds, amenities outside the house worn out, etc. This house was the exact opposite. Incredibly clean and well taken care of. Nice appliances a gas stove, etc. We cooked a lot during the trip and found the kitchen to be very will stocked. We brought a meat thermometer, which they didn't have, but otherwise there wasn't a single thing that we needed that wasn't available. Finally, the pictures on the website don't really do justice to the beach proximity of the house. Off the back deck is a long walkway over dunes that leads to a private stairway onto the beach. It was great. My whole family enjoyed walking up and down the beach and the easy access made it really convenient to get to and from the house. Great house and very well managed.

The Pink Retreat is Amazing!

This place is awesome! They have done such a great job with thinking about everything a guest would need. We only left this amazing location to get food. Ha! The house is beatiful. The back porch is perfect with the giant swing. Each of the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful made and decorated. We hope to make this location a tradition. ❤️

Amazing beach cottage

The beach house was beautiful! The location was so convenient to town. The back porch was huge and where we spent most of our time! Natalie was so great and responded minutes after, super responsive. I would recommend the Pink Retreat to everyone! This was one of the best girls trip and the house was a big part of it!

We have called Charleston home for over 45 years! Folly has been a place where we have created many memories from dating to family gatherings over the years as well as sharing our love of Folly through great beachfront vacation homes.

This property was purchased with the intent of creating a vacation home with beach lovers in mind. The location is a little over half mile from Center Street, or about a 15 minute walk, where most of the restaurants, new fishing pier, coffee shops and beach shopping is located. This is the perfect vintage beach house with all the charm you would expect plus the cleanliness and updates that make it a great beachfront stay in Folly Beach! Open and airy floorplan makes it easy to enjoy everyone's company while inside and the porch has plenty of seating with the day bed swing and rocking chairs!
