Whenever I leave a review I like to list the positives and negatives to give a clear picture.Positives: Property is within walking distance of the Seawall. Enjoyed this because we didn't have to drive & park on a busy weekend. Off-street parking was nice. We appreciated having our vehicle off the roadway. Fun to stay at a home that has some history- It appears the home was built in the 1940's which is pretty cool. The king bed was comfortable. I also appreciated having a Keurig style coffee maker. Frig was large for food storage. Negatives: Home appears to be one the owners have bought and used solely as a money maker. It shows some disrepair, such as a dingy comforter on the bed, disrepair in the bathroom, broken items in the kitchen, and old towels (one of which had a hole in it). Impression is not much pride is taken in the home. The home doesn't have an ice maker (we ended up buying ice). The kitchen is tiny, so cooking was nearly impossible. The trash can lid was not attached and fell to the floor frequently while trying to cook. I would not recommend this home if you plan to cook. There was no outside hose or water spigot. Big problem when you come back from the beach with sand and no way to wash it off. The TV in the living room is old/dark and it's the only one in the house. No porch light so it's very dark when you come/go after dark. No outdoor space except picnic table which is surrounded by ants. House is mostly clean if you don't look too hard.

The location of this home was amazing for us. Close to the Seawall and restaurant's, and a quick uber to the strand. The beds were very comfortable and the perfect size home for 4 people for a weekend trip. It came equipped with everything we needed. Our only “gripes” were the fridge water and ice machine did not work during our stay but we just purchased some water bottles, the shower shelf’s could use some anchoring and the bedrooms could really use some better blinds that darken the room so you have the choice to not wake up with the sun every morning (spare sheets they had fixed this). None of these things were “deal breakers” for us. The property manager was kind and quick to answer when the door code didn’t work and allowed for an early check in. The neighborhood is quiet which is a bonus too. Plenty of street parking if you have more than one car. We would come back!

It was a house to stay so it did ita job

The house was clean and an easy walk/drive to the beach. When we got there the door qould not unlock with out code, you could hear it acting like it was unlocking but nothing. When i called the listing person she was great and told me where to find the key which was not easy to get. Once inside we got stuck in a bedroom and bathroom because thw doorknobs didn't work. I washed some towels and when i went to put them in the dryer there was a puddle of water in there and the dryer disnt work. I messaged the liating person and she said she would find someone to come fix it and get back with me but i never heard back. There was not a blanket for the pullout couch, only sheets. The blinds jn the home are basically see through. At night the neighbors behind have a super bright porch light that shines straight into the back bedroom. The water pressure in thw shower was almost non existent. The shower itself was horrible. The shower head just falls down so you either have to hold the shower head or stand up against the wall to be under the water. The listing says sleeps 6 but only has 4 plates so make sure to grab some paper plates

The exterior of the property is poorly maintained. Grass not cut - trash cans overflowing - light bulbs busted out on porch. Front door knob was about ready to fall off. Key-less entry did not work. The inside of the house was clean. Bathroom door knob kept falling off. Generally the property management company is not doing the work and taking the money.

Convenient, clean. Fully equipped.

We enjoyed our stay. Two suggestions. Chairs on front porch. Benches are not comfortable. Especially for seniors.The back bedroom has an extremely bright light shining in the window. The blinds are not adequate to reduce light in bedroom. We had to put beach towels on window.

Anniversary trip

House was cute and nice. Only issue was door code didn't work when we arrived. And we had a huge roach run across the livingroom floor while we were watching TV.

Property looked exactly as pictured there is a no shoe no food in rooms policy that i loved walking distance to beach was awesome. There were plenty of essentials available i did bring tissue and paper towels since some other reviews mentioned not having enough but the Property had them on hand. Enough space for us 6 we will definitely book again i give this property 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Central Location

The house is in a great location being close to the beach and minyres from the strand or moody. The house was clean and great size for a group of 6. It is on a busier street so expect medium noise levels. They have cute built in seating to enjoy the breeze or people watching off the porch. We were slightly disappointed in the kitchen amenities. We feltvlike we had to buy a lot more basics than normall but if you taje stovk before you shop it shoukdnt be an issue.

We had a great stay at the quaint little beach bungalow. It is just the most precious little house. It is very well decorated and festive. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We are highly likely to stay there again!

Adorable little house!

We enjoyed our stay! Being so close to the seawall was a big plus! The house was perfect for what we needed. The only downside was the only coffee available was instant.

Nice house.

The furniture and the beds were comfortable. Appliances were nice. There were only 2 washcloths and 4 towels, there were 5 of us. Interior could have been a little cleaner, bath walls, door frames, behind furniture, beds, bed tables. Dishwasher smelled bad. Filter needs changed in the refrigerator. More than roll of toilet paper would have been nice.

This is a lovely beach town bungalow. It has a bit of a weathered beach exterior, but inside, it has a charming seaside decor. It is fully furnished with lazy boys, a couch in the living room—and a large dining table. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds. And it was very convenient for everything on the island. I highly recommend it.

My friend-girl and I found the corner property easily and were very pleased with the aesthetics of the home. We DID find that the grounds needed to be upkept and made the request....IMMEDIATELY, the host responded with a freshly manicured yard. Voilà, we were able to enjoy the outside advertised area! It was a great stay, the hosts have done well!

Family friendly

Over all our stay was nice. The beds were comfortable. However, there could have been more blankets for the pull out bed. The location was perfect. we were able to walk to the beach and also find out way around very easily. There was more than enough items to cook with and loved that there was a ton of space in the Refrigerator. Only reason I am not giving it a five star is because the smell of the house was bad. It had a very distinct cat odor and the floors were sticky. Also, another complaint of ours was that there wasn’t enough toilet paper, towels for.shower and beach. In that regard, we did laundry once a day to counteract that issue. Limited paper towels for five days and four people we had to go out and buy more. Overall great stay for location and rate! Just a few minor adjustments and it would be a 10/10!

Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I booked here to celebrate our anniversary. The house was quaint, quiet and very cozy. Close to everything ! The only suggestion I have to make it an even better experience would be to put a room darkening shade or curtain in the King bedroom for sure and possibly the Queen bedroom. The floodlight on the back neighbor's garage is terribly bright and quite annoying. The porch light at the house next door comes through the queen bedroom, but its nowhere near as bad as the garage floodlight. Communication with the host was fantastic!! Would definitely stay again. Very comfortable living room as well as the king bed!!
