This property is a hidden gem located less than 400m to Dixon Park beach and within minutes’ walk to The Junction shopping & restaurant precinct. The Junction precinct is Newcastle’s boutique shopping village with independent boutiques stocking designer labels, unique jewellery and hip home wares. It also has a range of trendy restaurants and cafes to dine in and is buzzing for the weekend brunch crowd so book a table! You can also take a short walk to the iconic Beach Hotel, Merewether Surf House, Merewether baths and the memorial walk path.

The house is suitable for couples, business trips and/or family with lots of local activities for adults and kids alike. Within a 500-metre radius you will find beaches, cafes, restaurants, bowling clubs, skate parks, tennis courts and a football oval.

The property is bright and airy with an open plan living concept looking onto a private outdoor entertaining area to ensure lots of relaxing outdoor time. With air conditioning and WIFI this property has everything your trip away will need.

Offering 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and secure garage parking. Kitchen includes dishwasher, gas cooktop, microwave, oven, stove, fridge and washing machine and dryer in the laundry.

If you don't want to walk or have a car there are buses, taxis and Uber located all close by.

Great location but house could improve

The location of the house is fantastic, short walk to beach and cafes. The house was very dusty especially upstairs (lamps, windowsills) and my son suffers from allergies so this was not ideal. The house was very noisy from outside traffic late at night and from the bad weather (the rain and wind rattled the windows all night long). The hand soaps were empty, no tea/coffee at all. Just a few creature comforts could make this place so much more enjoyable. Positives, good internet and Foxtel, Netflix, stan etc and the courtyard was lovely to sit in for dinner although we didn't use the BBQ (it too could do with a good clean). I also went to use the vacuum however it was completely full and didn't feel as though I should empty it. This place is requires more attention to detail.

Beautiful holiday house and incredible location

Such a beautiful spacious house with all that we needed for our week away. A short walk to the beach and stunning coastal walks. A great location close to the shops too. The kids were big fans of the reclining chairs - so comfortable! Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting the area again.

Lovely house, great location

House worked out really well for us. Short walk to both beach and the Junction (grocery store). Would have liked a little more supplies, such as some basics in the kitchen (e.g. oil, salt and pepper), coffee and tea and a little more generous with toiletries (not sufficient for three adults for three nights). Would definitely stay again, would just bring more of these things with us!
