Spring Break Stay

We had a great time at El Zalate. We’ve stayed in many of the units in the complex. Amir’s place is nice, better than pictures show bc bedding has been updated. As mentioned in some of the reviews, it is showing some wear and tear, but very clean and well equipped.

Great stay

Location location location. 403 didn’t disappoint. Not our first stay and will not be our last. Grounds staff are lovely and inviting.

Home away from home!

Everything was just as advertised! There was only 2 of us so lots of room! Would definitely return. Clean and quiet resort.

Great property

Super clean, safe property. Well maintained unit with a great view of the ocean. Our 18 month old loved the onsite pool where there's a nice shallow end that he could walk around in.

Beautiful view

This is a beautiful property. The view of the sea is outstanding and the beach is right outside the gate to the property. There is a beach restaurant Mama Mia’s less than a city block away via the beach.

Great pools and patio areas

Pools were easily accessible and the patios surrounding them had plenty of loungers, chairs and umbrellas. Loved the trees around the pools, lots of songbirds. Note to the owners - a bathroom at the pool level would be a benefit.

A perfect stay

View , view , view . The patio is spacious , covered to give you shade , and you are overlooking the pool and the ocean . The condo has all amenities to either stay in and cook your own meal , or is in walking distance to great restaurants! Would stay again

Beautiful

This place was perfect for us. Everything we needed. Walk everywhere,.uber is great. Momma Mias is right next door. Staff are friendly and helpful at El Zalate. Great pools! We will be back

Perfect 23 days at El Zalate

Spent a glorious 23 days at El Zalate. Unit was perfect, clean, well-equipped (great kitchen, appliances, BBQ, fluffy towels, comfy beds). El Zalate itself is outstanding -- heated pool and hot hot-tub when it was chilly, cool pool when it was hot. Grounds are immaculate. Lots of chairs and umbrellas if needed, and endless beach to walk along. We loved walking along beach to La Comer for groceries, eating out including at Mama Mia's and getting to know all the great residents and guests at the complex.

Beach Condo

This is a well-equipped and comfortable unit. The pictures of the place are completely accurate. The view from the large balcony of the pool and water was a delight every morning. Watching the sun rise never got tired. Easy access to restaurants/shopping by Uber made the location ideal. We want to come back.

Just what I needed

What a gorgeous property! I can’t say enough about what an amazing experience this condo was for us. There were days we didn’t see another soul and had the pools to ourselves!! Same with the beach! There are multiple excellent eating options within walking distance, and it was easy to order groceries. We will be back!!!

Elzalate

The place was great! We loved the view the only thing negative was that we were told the 2 beds were queen and they were not, they were doubles and also there was no place to put your clothes! Needs a dresser in each room! Only place was closer to hang stuff up!

Beautiful condo and perfect location

Condo exactly as described. Very comfortable. Pool and pool area clean and comfortable as well. Right in the beach. Felt safe with the security/gatemen. They were friendly with us but wouldn’t even let a pizza delivery man enter the grounds. Like all condos in this strip, the highway is busy, but find a local driver to contact when needed or walk.

Fully met expectations

This unit was as represented on the site. The condo is comfortable and very well equipped. Some areas are beginning to show signs of age, but only from usual wear and tear. We intend to return. The terrace provides excellent views and is a perfect spot for relaxing and whale watching. Contacts with the host were responded to promptly.

Decor was extremely minimal. Kitchen not very well appointed. Had issues with hot water.King bed & bedding was very comfortable however there was only one set of towels in the master bathroom. End tables & TV stand in master are very scratched.

Disappointed

Many things didn’t work in the kitchen, the master tub was cracked, it was very bland, having a key was annoying-there should be a code. Will not stay here again.

Great condo and great location

We’ve stayed here before and love this property. The condo was in great condition, big patio and comfortable couches to hang out. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen. Amir was extremely responsive and helpful. There is a nice water cooler for cold drinking water in addition to the filtered water from the sink. The pool area is very nice and quiet. It’s very well maintained and beautiful. We could see whales every day from our spot by the pool along with the jumping devil rays. The location is within walking distance to the big super market/ store La Comer. Super nice store that you can basically get anything. Better than the Walmart. Right near the property is a convenience store and pharmacy. Only thing to remember is to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Playa Azul San Jose del Cabo

We were two couples on this trip and we all loved this well equipped condo on a beautiful wide uncrowded sandy beach. El Zalate complex was wonderfully peaceful, no loud parties or crowds. A bit of traffic noise from the highway but usually blended with the ocean and the breezes. We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen that included a six-burner stove and large freezer/refrigerator. Cathy the onsite manager was very responsive and helpful. Communication with the host was good. Good beach chairs and towels provided. Good price and cancellation policy for the area. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, peaceful stay at El Zalate

This is a beautifully appointed, well equipped, very comfortable condo on the beach in San Jose. It has a generous patio overlooking the pools and the beach. We spent a lot of our time on the patio - coffee and breakfast in the morning and dinner at night. The pools are beautiful and it is a short stroll across the sand to the beach. We were very happy here and we can't wait to return.

Great Condo

This was our first time to Cabo and enjoyed it. The condo is in a good location and walking distance to restaurants. We used Uber to go into town and to get groceries. The condo is very well equipped. We did not cook too much but the kitchen seemed to have everything needed if you were to cook a meal. We loved the balcony and the view. When we were at the condo this is where our time was spent. We were a group of 3 and found the condo spacious and has very comfortable beds. Amir answered all of of our questions before and during our stay. Kathy the property manager was great and responded right away. The complex is very safe and the staff was always friendly and welcoming. We would definitely rent again if we were to return to Cabo.
