Modern family beach house - sleeps up to 8

Barefoot Inn is your perfect Island home away from home. Situated at beautiful Orchid Bead, Fraser Island (k'gari). Its perfect for all stayers, inclusive of larger groups and families. Its ideal for large boats with easy, convenient drive through access. It is a modern beach house, three separate bedrooms (Queen bed, Double bed, 4 single beds) with new amenities and furniture. Situated just a short drive away from the beach with nearby locations including Champagne Pools, Waddy Point, Ngkala rocks, the Cape, Ocean Lake and Indian Head. There are plenty of recreational activities to partake in such as fishing, swimming, 4 x 4 driving, sight-seeing or even just spending some downtime on the beach.

- It has a reliable Solar system with automatic generator back up.
- Family Webber BBQ & Gas Bottle on patio for use.
- A fully equipped new kitchen, with microwave, gas stove & oven, 2 door fridge & extra tucker box freezer outside.
- utensils and equipment for children.
- Fenced off area with gate for children.
- Porta cot (bring your own linen) , high chair and baby bath available.
- Beautiful fresh Fraser Island bore water
- Telstra mobile phones work from Orchid Beach
- Located near Orchid Beach trading post & Driftwood Bar Or the 'The Shed'

- Power access to charge camera batteries & phones, baby monitors, CPAP
- Washing machine
- Flat screen TV

Fish cleaning facilities are available for prepping your fresh catch. Campfires are allowed at Barefoot Inn, perfect for those chilly nights. (Firewood available to purchase at request)

Blankets are provided for all beds, but please bring your own pillows, sheets & extra blankets if needed.

it is a shed but it's very nice, enough fans to make it not hot, plenty of power points for phones, easily slept 8. Fire pits and patio area are good. Set away from other houses, has bbq and a full kitchen. Overall very good would definitely come again

Barefoot & Carefree at the Inn

Our family and friends have enjoyed a lovely stay at Barefoot Inn. It truly has everything needed for a family getaway. Emma the host was fantastic and easily contactable, helping us out with a last minute family issue. We were able to relax and enjoy the covered outdoor area, grassy yard and bbq while sitting around the firepit under the stars. We took groceries, personal linen & towels as instructed and were mindful of the solar power usage and septic system requirements.It is spacious and comfortable with three separate bedrooms, six beds and accommodated eight adults and a baby. We gathered in the lounge area and around a super size dining table to enjoy meals and games together. Give your family a treat at Orchid Beach.

Simple but very comfortable accommodation

3 of us on fishing trip. Well equipped kitchen. Large fridge freezer in kitchen plus large chest freezer outside. Table outside for cleaning fish. Laundry/bathroom and toilet attached to house but outside. Really well insulated. Comfortable beds. Friendly owners.

Week at Fraser - Orchid

Property was exactly as described. Everything was clean and tidy,nice quite area. Good acces if taking a large boat. Have stayed in alot of places at orchid beach over the years and this was probably one of the cleanest and best value. We will definitely be staying here again

Lovely, comfortable stay

Barefoot Inn was lovely and clean - and very well organised. Kitchen is very cute and well equiped. Beds were comfy and shower lovely and hot. Lovely to have an outdoor fire pit each night, too. Very comfortable and perfect for a cosy family stay. Just what we needed. Will definitely be back.

Barefoot Inn has everything you need while staying at Orchid Beach

The property was very clean. And has everything you need. We also found the property had good cell coverage with Telstra. There was only the 2 of us and we only slept in the queen bed but we found it was one of the nicest beds we have slept in while away on holiday!! Emma was a pleasure to message/speak to and nothing was a bother for her. We liked how the house isn't facing the road but rather looking up at trees. Close to the shops/petrol and the beach. The fishing was great. We look forward to staying at Barefoot Inn again and happy to recommend this property
