We just finished a week at Villa Vieux Caribe and couldn’t have been happier. This was the 9th Villa we have rented (1 on Grace Bay, 1 on Chalk Sound, 4 on Sappodilla and 3 on Taylor.) We far prefer the calm of Taylor to the ‘party atmosphere’ of Sappodilla. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 11 to 84, and everyone had a great time. The location cannot be beat. From the moment you walk through the front doors, the views of Taylor Bay are spectacular. All 5 main house bedrooms have incredible views and the 2 bedrooms down by the dock are 10 feet from the ocean. The access to Taylor Bay is incredible. At low tide, you can walk off the steps (or a short swim at high tide) and are 20 feet from the waist deep water. The combination of pool deck, porches, and what must be the longest single dock in Turks provides for lots of space to hang out. Even with 14, we never felt cramped. The pool is not heated but the most comfortable of any villa we have rented. The house itself is well appointed and in very good shape, with the normal Caribbean wear and tear. Leaving the best for last, the highlight of the house is the sunset dock. We had an unencumbered sunset view every night and it was a daily gathering that no one ever missed. Security was excellent with a full time guard all night at the end of the road. Rhondda is very helpful and knowledgeable as a house manager. Finally, if you are a scuba diver, we strongly recommend AquaTCI, the best dive operators in the Caribbean.

From the moment we stepped into the Villa to the end of our stay we had the most amazing experience ever! Rhonda welcomed us with open arms and the largest smile I've seen. The rooms were large with windows overlooking the ocean and the most beautiful sunsets every night. I definately will try and visit again.

Excellent holiday!

We were a family of 7 ranging in ages from 6 months to 75 and we loved our stay. Pool was a hit and the proximity to the beach was a highlight. House had everything we needed and plenty of space for all. We can’t wait to hopefully be back soon!

Great Family Vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Vieux Caribe! It was a perfect home for a large family vacation. The views are stunning and absolutely beautiful! It had a great outdoor space & plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We especially enjoyed being able to get right into the water from the property, although the stairs going into the water off of the dock need to be fixed for safety reasons. The inside is a little tired/worn but definitely manageable. We enjoyed all of the amenities that the property had to offer, (i.e. the canoes, long boards, fishing rods, floats). We really enjoyed being able to hang out in the water, snorkel, & swim right off the dock. Also, being able to rent jet skis right from the property was a plus. The pool & dock areas allowed you to enjoy the beautiful views from the property. Rhondda was great at check-in explaining everything about the house. We really enjoyed having Chef Gerry come to the Villa & cook for us! Que Bola Little Havana which was close by had great food, nice atmosphere & very kind staff! I definitely would recommend this property for a large family vacation!

Great location and excellent for large families!

We stayed at the property over spring break for an extended family gathering of 10. The main house was perfect for our group with grandparents on the main level, two adult couples on the 2nd level in the two rooms with king beds. and four teenagers occupying the 3rd level with queen beds. There is so much outdoor space with amazing views of the water, sunsets and Taylor Beach. Check-in was great with Rhonda meeting us at the house and going over details. The welcome basket of food & beverages was above & beyond and a very nice gesture. We had to contact Rhonda a couple times during our stay and she was very responsive. Regarding the A/C in the house, we only needed to use them in the bedrooms at night and the main house was comfortable with windows open to allow the breeze to flow through. The location of the home is spectacular with the views and access to Taylor Beach, but quite a distance from the resort areas in Grace Bay. Rental car is an absolute must if you intend to venture outside the home. Outside of the neighborhood, the roads are quite rough and need to be aware of security concerns. Restaurants- we ate at Chalky's two nights (which was okay) and Bugaloo's Cronch Crawl which is a cool tucked away spot on the water. I've rated the cleanliness of the property as ok - the sofa and chair cushions on the main level of the home were quite worn and a few minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. Overall, this is a fantastic alternative to the resort area!

Family Vacation

Perfect home for large family vacation. When planning a an destination vacation for a family 9 adults and 6 children you relay on lots of information to determine picking the perfect place. Louise and Rhonda we wonderful with answering questions coordinating needs and managing any issues during the stay. This was our 6th trip to TC and this home and it's location is favorite!! The location is perfect and allowed us to undertaker an activity everyday we were able to do jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, boarding, and fishing all within Taylor and Sapodilla Bay while family members were able to watch from the wonderful seating areas on the docks. Its a stately home with and incredible pool area to enjoy the outside, views and sun. Would recommend Chef Gerry for in house catering, Ocean Vibes for snorkeling and day on the water, Silly Creek Water Sports for water activities in the Bay and Turk Evo Jets for jet skiing. Louise thank you for sharing your wonderful home we will be back next year! Thanks Jeff.

Beautiful Home

This gracious home in Taylor Bay ,is on a gorgeous strip of beach with shallow waters, perfect for children, The property is beautifully maintained and supplied with aquatic equipment to let guests enjoy the sea. Proprietors are very diligent and keep their place beautifully.

Amazing Villa, amazing place

This is probably the best location for a Villa. Just a few meters from the beach either walking by the street or by the ocean as the shallow waters permit you to do so. You can also take a swim or jump to the ocean from the piers. We had so much fun! The villa is very nice! Spacious, rooms are big and comfortable, big kitchen with good appliances, nice terrace and big deep pool. Chef Gerry gave us the best food! He was very helpful and open to changes we had due to out children. I will come back for sure!!

Great multi family vacation

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The house was perfect for two families that haven’t vacationed together for 25 years. Our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the pool, the bay and everything that the house had to offer. The owners and property manager were also great and easy to reach. Hopefully we can come back someday.

One of the best

We stayed at Villa Caribe for Spring break from NC with 4 families (13 people). The house is beautiful and very clean and has a great location in Taylor Bay with calm, clear water. It is much less crowded than Grace bay and the water is calmer. The layout of the house is great with many areas to sit and enjoy the pool and ocean. Lots of water toys with stand up paddle boards and kayaks and easy to rent jet ski's. Sunsets are spectacular. House cleaning mid way thru the stay was very good. We only ran the AC in the bedrooms at night as we were outside 90% of the time during the day. I would recommend renting a car or van since Taxi service is very unreliable and expensive on this island and the house is not in walking distance to groceries and most of the restaurants. IgA grocery was well stocked. Also would not recommend Fast Trac at the airport as the lines were not very long. Expect delays on the way out of the airport as every flight had delays given the small terminal and one runway - we had a 2 hour delay. Host Louise and manager Rhonda were good hosts and responded very quickly to messages. They were thought full and gave us complementary welcome snacks and beverages. I would recommend Captain Bill's Ocean Adventures boat ride, renting jet skis, eating at Omar's, Magnolias, Mango reef, and Sui-Ren at the Shore club . Also Chef Jerry cooked dinner for us one night which was excellent. We were not very impressed by La Brisas or Mr. Grouper. We have rented a lot of vacation houses and this is one of the best. Overall it was a great trip and would highly recommend staying at Villa Caribe.

Incredible Location

Other than a few blemishes/imperfections, this place is incredible. Nice layout with each of the 5 bedrooms having balconies on the ocean side. Tons of sitting area outside. Not the area of the Island with the most things to do (Cafes, Boutiques are more towards the Grace Bay area, 20-25 mins away by car) But if you’re looking for a quiet retreat to enjoy the house, the pool, the beach or the view, I can’t imagine a better spot!

Beautiful Location and great out door space

Great outdoor living space, easy access to clear calm waters, Loved the multi-level docks. Interior space is nicely laid out. If I had one suggestion it would be to perhaps consider redecorating the Common interior living areas and dining areas as they are looking a bit worn and tired. Fresh more comfortable dinning and living furniture inside would be a nice improvement. Other than that we found the house very comfortable and the host service and attention was exceptional.

Beautiful property in an amazing location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Louise's property. There were 12 of us in total (6 adults and 6 young children) and there was more than enough room for everyone. Staying at this location on Taylor Bay was something that we had been wanting to do for many years we feel very fortunate to have finally done it. The pool (and pool area) are perfect for many people...and we enjoyed grilling and enjoying many meals poolside. The kids loved jumping off the docks and constantly seeing the sea turtles that lived right off of the surrounding decks. It was an incredible stay and we look forward to returning next year!

Turks and Caicos best kept secret

My family created fabulous memories in a most luxurious home located in the best beaches of the world. We travelled the island to return to Taylor Beach and and watch the children and adults rejoice and swim in the natural beauty of the serene beach with our Turtle friend. We hope to return soon

Fabulous house / outstanding views
