We had a rough start, but an amazing rest of the week. I was notified before our arrival that the unit had experienced some recent water damage. We found mold covering all box spring/mattress covers. It was later in the evening (8pm) when we arrived and we were told that no one could be sent out until the next day. We took off the covers, vacuumed and washed some bedding. The next day, super nice folks came out, removed all bedding/sheets and remade the beds with new linens. I did ask for compensation for the night, considering we had to do some work when we arrived, which is the last thing someone wants to do after 19 hours of travel. We did not get any compensation, but were offered a full refund if we wanted to leave. We were hopeful that the issue would be fixed and it was. The furniture is a bit older and some of the dressers smelled musty - but again, the unit is right on the water, so we hung all our clothes. Once we got windows open and fans on, the air circulated very well. The pool is great, the location is amazing, and the unit had everything we needed. The views were just stunning and you can see boogie boarders from Honl's beach, right next door. The free/on site parking was also wonderful and easy to access. We felt safe at the complex and everyone was so nice. We did not mind the lack of A/C and hearing waves crash EVERY night was amazing. Best natural sound machine! The pool has quiet time, so that was also a nonissue for us. Great washer/dryer too!
