Not Clean

Our unit was not clean when we arrived. The beds were all unmade, and there were towels (dirty) hanging in the bathrooms and bedrooms.

Location is amazing, but the apartment needs a bit of improvement. Mosquitos everywhere, from faucets, shower head, etc. water comes out yellowish. the downstairs shower head is covered in mold. Other than that, it’s a nice place for the price

Great location on the beach

Condo is located just steps from the beach. Perfect location to walk right out the door and onto the sand. This was our first trip to Surfside Beach and it was a nice break from the normal chaotic beach scene (other than the 4th of July!).

There were some issues with the property including smoke alarms and communication with the property manager was very slow. A promise to get them fixed in a specific time frame turned out not to be true. The location can’t be beat and I hope the property manager deals with our concerns. I am hopeful they will.

Ideal Location for Our Family Birthday/Just us Girls!!

All of us enjoyed the location and size of the Condominium.It was large enough and had two full sized bathrooms. We will definitely return and recommend this unit to anyone that wants to stay just on the other side of the dunes from the beach.

Surfsound

Not quite what we expected but for our short stay it was "a place to stay". The company was very generous in allowing us to check in early. Otherwise, we were unaware of the water sulfur smells in the shower/ sink and throughout. Probably just the area.. Also the moldy smells throughout the house were quite strong. Like i said it was a place to stay to see family. Also the dishwasher and the toilet isn't functioning properly which was relayed to the company.

Perfect Beach Spot

This location could not have been more perfect. The beach is steps away and the view from both porches are a great place to hang out. The condo was perfectly furnished and supplies were as expected and then some. Highly recommend this property.

Will Come Back

The property was clean and updated. We loved how close to the beach we were and were able to see the water from both porches. The water was smelly and didn’t taste good so just bring extra bottle water to brush your teeth. The mosquitos were also really bad down by the outside shower and on the deck so bring mosquito spray. Overall we loved our first trip to Surfside and will be back!

Great Stay

We have stayed at this property several times and it’s always very clean and taken care of. However, the water at the property this last time was as very smelly (sulfur). We contacted the property owner and they said this was normal, but this was the first time the water was unpleasant. We dealt with it, but just an FYI.

Great Beachfront Property

Our first time visiting Surfside was a great experience. Milann was a wonderful host who was very responsive. The property was clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean and very easy access to the beach. We loved the outdoor deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Our only tip to future guests is to bring your own beach gear. While there property does have a few beach chairs, you’ll be much more comfortable bring your own (and an umbrella).

Well located and adorable beach condo

This property was exactly what we needed it to be: it is steps from the beach, had a cozy place for my family to chill and sleep, and had good internet access for when mom and dad had to reconnect for work. Some of the reviews led me to believe the condo would be better stocked with basic cleaning supplies (maybe this was a function of who stayed there before), and i was a little underprepared in this area. Some of the kitchen was also not very well wiped down (which was very likely an oversight). Overall, my kids had a great time and i would return, albiet a little better prepared.

Holidays at the Beach

This property was very clean, close to the beach and the perfect start to a new year! Check-in was very easy and the property host was quick to respond & answer check-out questions. The condo was stocked with all the kitchen basics, including spices. There were plenty of bath towels, as well as beach towels -- they even provided laundry detergent! Surfside is a hidden gem and this condo is great for a family getaway!
