Our oceanfront house is perfect for a memorable Maine vacation. Lots of water front to explore, play, and easily enter a kayak. Does your trip include hiking, biking trails, puffin tours and sightseeing? Perfect location,all are within minutes!! 15 minutes to Acadia National Park at Schoodic, the Bar Harbor Ferry, bike and kayak rentals. With an easy 45 minute drive to Bar Harbor, this coastal setting on a private island allows you to relax away form all the tourists traps. ON THE WATER? This house is minutes to Acadia Puffin Cruise and other Lobstering Tours. HIKING? Rather you want to hike a mountain or to the beach, trails are just minutes away. Our small fishing village of Milbridge will not disappoint with gift shops, coffee shops, farmers market, public walking paths and gardens. A family owned grocery store is stocked with everything you'll need. Sleeps 8 people so invite family or friends! Enjoy the tidal waters, lobster boats, fire-pit and outside grilling on the large deck. Come vacation with us to make your trip a lasting memory.

The place was beautiful and very secluded! We enjoyed a bonfire and used the hot tub! Only drawback is there is a longer drive to everything.

Just returning home from our stay in Maine. This house was beautiful; well appointed; clean and the views were amazing! Chad was quick to respond and both Chad and his wife offered many suggestions for restaurants, all which were great! The fire pit was a great addition to the cool Fall nights. Highly recommend staying at this property!

Very comfortable & new - close to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Schoodic. Daytime setting is lovely but the NIGHT sky is a million dollar view, sooo many stars! Gorgeous Maine!

Wonderful house and property. So quiet and relaxing. Chad was very prompt in answering any questions I had prior to us booking, and also after booking. We would definitely recommend staying at this place, especially if you are looking for a place not near crowds.

Relaxing vacation in Milbridge

We had a very nice stay at this secluded, peaceful home. It was the perfect set up for my spouse and I plus 2 adult kids who each brought along a friend. We spent a day in Acadia National park to see the sights and watch the sunset over Cadillac mountain. Other days we were content to stay in the home and play games, read a book, cook dinner in the kitchen or on the grill outside, go for a nature walk or just sit by the fire near the water. The hot tub was wonderful to go in especially since the evenings were chilly here in early June. Our favorite restaurant was Bunkers Seafood and Spirits only about a half hour away. Overall, we were very grateful for this vacation with family and friends. I will miss the daily view from the deck of the water!
The sunrises were spectacular!

Amazing, private getaway.

We wanted a quick weekend getaway and this was the perfect choice. It is clean and new and very private. You could sit in the hot tub under the stars in the evening and in the morning watching the sunrise. Amazing property and would definitely book again.

Great property but no hot tub

The property was a good VRBO. The kids were disappointed that there was no hot tub like the title says. The owner was very responsive and helped us when the water was discolored following storms and fixed a broken lock immediately. The location was farther from Acadia than we expected, with a 45 minute drive to Schoodic and 1 hour 15 to the Bar Harbor area. We spent more time than expected in the car, but otherwise the property was clean, beds were comfortable, and we would recommend it!

The house is brand new and exactly as described. It’s a little off the beaten path but a beautiful spot. Our only hesitancy with giving the review was that the en-suite bathroom seemed to have an odor and we worried it hadn’t been cleaned appropriately between guests. Otherwise, no complaints.

Nice roomy home to enjoy!

6 adults has plenty of room to enjoy morning or evening at this nice home! We adventured during the day and relaxed when back at the house. Recommend!

Perfect getaway from the hustle!

This was our first time to Maine. I took a chance on this property and I am so glad that we did. The house was lovely. The location was great. We was able to visit Acadia, Bar Harbor, and some of the other harbors as well. It was nice to get away from it all though when we were done. The house had all the essentials and the view is perfect for that morning coffee. We will definitely rent again when we come back.

Glorious!!

My husband and I rented the property for 2 nights for my Birthday. Property was spotless, gorgeous and such a pretty view. Great property for a couples getaway or family(s). Centrally located on Maine’s Downeast Coast and easy to get around. House has Wi-Fi, bring your own wood fire pit and owners were really receptive. I would definitely stay again and we didn’t want to leave. Great time!

Excellent home with nature at your doorstep

This house is brand new and very nice. We enjoyed the property and solitude. Great spot on the water to see the tides come in and out. We used the fire pit every night. Owner was so helpful and responsive. Plan to stay again.
