This is actually the second time we have stayed here and we love the house and location to the beach. It’s clean and perfect for the whole family. The only complaint I heard during the trip was the beds are a little uncomfortable. Other than that, no complaints!

Me and my family stayed for a weekend getaway and our stay was great! The home is as advertised, it was nice and clean. Short 5 min walk to the public beach access.

The house was as advertised, close to the beach and with plenty of space. Check in and check out went smoothly. There were a few issues with dishes and linens looking like they didn’t get completely cleaned by the dishwasher and washing machine. Overall, we had a positive stay.

Great place that had everything we needed and tons of space. Lots of light and ac worked super well. Great views on both sides (sound on one, ocean on the other). Hardly felt like we were sharing it with another family on the other side. Would definitely book again.

House was very nice. The main entrance lock needs to be replaced and sliding door to deck 0ff the kitchen was difficult to open.

Emerald Isle Stay

The property was even better than expected! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will keep it in mind for next time we are down! Only thing we noticed was that the water has a bad stench and the one toilet wouldn’t flush but after some elbow grease (plunging) we got it. The other downfall we had was our neighbors and garbage, they weren’t very considerate of others staying because they filled up both garbages before we could even take a bag out.

Great outdoor space and quiet

This was exactly as advertised and fit 5 adults without issue. It was not as clean as we had hoped but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Needed a freshen up

Location was decent, had lots of unexpected things seemingly left behind from previous guest- beach toys, balls, and chalk that my daughter loved. Would have been nice to have a safety gate at the top of the stairs. Very spacious, lots of beds and baths. The TV in one of the living spaces was not working but one was delivered during our stay, it would have been nice if someone would have came to set it up as we didn’t want to be responsible for moving and setting up a new TV. There was quite a bit of unwanted hair throughout the house and the dishes all had to be washed prior to personal use. The coffee pot was growing mold and really needed a scrubbing, and it would be nice if a bottle brush was provided to help keep this cleaner. The garage was huge but the ping pong table had a lot of mold growing all over it. My husband spent about a hour making the garage clean enough for us to feel comfortable letting our daughter play and touch things in that space. There was also noticeable water spots above the ping pong table that probably need to be addressed before mold becomes a health concern. The walk to the beach was not terrible, about 5 mins but beware of the splintering boardwalk( not the fault of the rental). It would have been great to have a hose to rise off with when coming back from the beach for all the sand. Just a hose spigot there currently. Also a few of the doors to the decks were hard to open due to rust and oxidation from the ocean water. Overall it was a great stay but we definitely think it could have used a deep clean at this time.

Summer Vacation

Nice house which was central to everything. Ocean on one side, bay on the other and many places to see both North and South. We went to Fort Macon, Kayaking, kite flying, to the beach and had a fantastic time. Thanks for the use of the house.

Beach getaway.

Very good rental for pet lovers

The rental was very accommodating for a stay near the beach with dogs. It was conveniently located for neighborhood walks, as well as access to the beach for the dogs to enjoy.

Absolutely perfect!

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and needed a large place for my husband and adult daughter who coach and my high school age daughter who plays, plus pets. This home was beyond our expectation and the picture do not do it justice. Everything we needed was there and clean up and out requests were minimal and reasonable. We have a great time and won a couple of championships!
