Clean place, cozy and warm. There is 1 parking spot in the back - use the alley for access. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This was our second stay at this property. The house is great and feels roomy. Great metro access and easy walk to old town Alexandria. This is a perfect home base for visiting the National Mall by metro.I look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a great stay at this house. It was beautifully decorated and clean and convenient to Old Town.

Okay property but definitely some room for improvement. Pros included location near Metro stop and fun UK theme. Cons included noise (street and HVAC system), broken front door (peep hole stuffed with tissue paper) and lack of comms from host (asked about early check in and email address and never heard back).

Eric, I am sorry to hear you felt the property didn't meet your expectation. To have the convenience of being across from the metro and in a walkable urban setting and super close to the airport, there is no way to have a zero noise proof house. Living in an Urban neighborhood means living with noise to have the convenience to public transportation, restaurants and shops. There is nothing I can do about this complaint. I send out the guidebook multiple times prior to your check in and in the guide has my cell and email address. We were not able to accommodate an early check in. The peep hole view was broken by prior guest and is in the process of being replaced. It has not been easy to find a view of the same size. I hope you found some positive aspects of your trip and I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations.

Great property and great location

Wonderful property located in close proximity to the Blue/Yellow lines and Old Town Alexandria. Great local restaurants and shopping, plus easy access to Reagan National Airport and DC landmarks via the metro. Beautiful house with ample room for large groups.

Girls getaway on Old Town Alexandria

Our group of 8 ladies stayed at Desiree's home and we had a super time. Great location, fully stocked, clean, decorated beautifully and exactly how the home was described. We would certainly recommend this property to friends traveling to Alexandria.

Fantastic ladies weekend!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious townhouse minutes from charming Old Town. Ubers and Door Dash are plentiful and our host was incredibly attentive. Comfortable beds, lovely sheets and plenty of towels. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fantastic.

Excellent Stay!

Other than a few minor items (low water pressure, bunk beds are more for kids than adults, railing at front door steps was unsteady) we had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the house! The property manager was truly wonderful and easy to work with prior to and during the stay. This house would be on my list if we are in the area again!

Clean and comfortable

We had 11 of us stay for 3 nights and it was perfect for our family. Everything was clean and comfortable, especially the mattresses,sheets and fluffy pillows. Our host Desiree was great with communication and she was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Family trip to DC

We had a wonderful stay at the Braddock House! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and also to eat together. Location and proximity to the Metro, restaurants and shops was ideal. We enjoyed the interior theme, comfy beds, welcome treats, and linens. Communication with the owner was very responsive!

Perfect!

This home was perfect for our family of 6. From the living areas to the bedrooms and bathrooms, it was a great set up. It’s within walking distance to almost anything you would need/want. Host was very accommodating & responsive. Definitely would recommend!

Family Fun for Spring Break

We had 12 people.....8 kids ans 4 adults and had the BEST time for 6 days in DC. This house was great and great location to metro and great shopping and cute restaurants in Arlington. Highly recommend. We loved the cozy house vibe, bunk beds and finished basement and loft area. Plenty of space to sleep and relax even with a large group!

Clean and comfortable

Beautiful home with plenty of room for 11 of us. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of towels and paper products. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend.

Great location

We loved this location. It was close to the metro and made getting into DC such a simple task. Downtown Alexandria was less than a mile walk. A grocery store around six blocks away made shopping convenient. The property is cute but could use new carpet and cooking pans. Communication with the host was fantastic. We would stay here again.

Unbelievable satisfied!

Lovely place in a great location. Spacious and great for walking. Mass Transportation across the street - metro train and bus. Accessible parking. The host was great from beginning to end. 5 star experience.

Family Celebration

This home was the perfect size for our group of 11, 5 adults and 6 children. Everyone’s sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the location was super convenient. We really appreciated the short walk home after a full day of sightseeing. The large dining room was especially great for eating together. Parking 2 cars on sight was not a problem either. We’d be happy to stay here again. Thank you!

Great trip with middle schoolers

This place was perfect, exactly as described and exactly what we needed. We had a group of 8 and there was more than enough room for us to spread out at the end of the day and get some separation after long days running around the museums and monuments. The metro is across the street along with a Mexican restaurant. It’s a short walk to a pizza place as well. Would gladly stay here again if I needed to house a similar group. Very easy and responsive communication with the host.

Fantastic House and Great Owner

We stayed at this house while visiting the Capital and the Smithsonian and enjoyed the stay. The location is directly across from the Metro Station, giving easy access to the center of DC. A beautiful kitchen and dining room make it easy to have a meal in. There is also 7-11, a Mexican restaurant, and a wood-fired pizza place just around the corner. The owner was lovely and very responsive when we had questions. The back-off-street parking is also larger than most D.C. locations and (barely) fits a large van, which is a significant plus. This is probably my favorite place, and I have stayed in D.C. on many trips.
