We had a great stay! There were 3 adults and 2 kids, and we were all very comfortable. The location was very convenient for us (we hiked a few trails and visited the Gorge Underground). The cabin was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. The only suggestion for improvement I had was for the dining chairs to receive a little attention (the legs on all the chairs were loose and wobbly).

A great location, a clean cabin, and a kitchen stocked well enough to actually cook in—sounds like this one made the trip pretty easy! We’re glad you got to enjoy some hiking and a visit to Gorge Underground too. Thanks for pointing out the dining chairs; loose legs are definitely something we’ll want to tighten up and appreciate you bringing that to our attention! Thanks so much for staying with us and for the 10/10, we’d love to have y’all back anytime!

Great place to stay. We had a storm the first night we was there and it tripped breaker for water supply. Texted the host the next morning and they was quick to respond and had the problem resolved

Kentucky storms sure know how to keep things interesting sometimes! We’re glad the breaker issue was an easy fix and, even more importantly, that you reached out so our team could get it handled quickly. We’re always happy to help when something unexpected pops up. Thanks so much for staying with us and for the 10/10!

Our stay was okay but could have been better. Our original check in time was pushed back an hour which was inconvenient but tolerable. Upon arrival, found mold growing in the coffee pot from old grounds not being cleaned out. Also, the water had a noticeable stench of sewage both from the faucets and the showers; half our party declined to shower the last day to avoid it. Lots of gnats so bring bug spray. Our bed was marketed as a queen but more like a full.

We appreciate the detailed feedback and are sorry several aspects of the stay fell short. Unfortunately our team was running behind, but we understand that changing an expected arrival time is still inconvenient and we understand why this would be upsetting. More importantly, the coffee maker should have been thoroughly checked during the turnover, and we apologize that old grounds were missed. We’re also taking the reported water odor seriously and will have that reviewed. While rural properties can occasionally have differences in water odor or quality depending on their water source, an odor described this strongly warrants attention. The cabin’s wooded setting can also mean seasonal gnats occasionally make an appearance, but we appreciate knowing when activity seems excessive. We will also confirm the mattress dimensions against the listing to make sure there is no discrepancy. Thanks so much for staying with us and for giving us an opportunity to review these concerns.

A very new, clean, and well built home, with 3 bedrooms upstairs; very modern and functional kitchen, and the back two decks (upper and lower) looked out over a peaceful valley, with NO other buildings or signs of mankind in sight, so it's a great place to stay and relax; only 10 minute drive to a few great places to eat.
