The location and access to the beach are great. The unit was very nice, very well stocked and check in was very efficient. My suggestions would be to replace some of the towels. The living room furniture covers need to be replaced or cleaned. I would also suggest more comfortable deck furniture, but overall the stay was wonderful and we would def return for a future visit.

I absolutely love this place. Everything about it is perfect. The views are unmatched and the small condo makes for way less foot traffic. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful views! Bathroom updates are awesome. Family had a great time and enjoyed the beach and pool everyday. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The balcony door was a little hard to open if someone closed it too tightly, but nothing we couldn't handle. Would definitely recommend this unit again!

Furniture in the unit we stayed in could use a cleaning/update and balcony furniture didn't seem very sturdy..we used our Beach chairs on the balcony. We weren't given any washcloths so I bought some cheap ones at Walmart.All in all a nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. However, there was no fire tv remote for the master bedroom bedroom, and the dish remote would only control the volume. Had to change channels manually when you finally got the dish to work. There was also issues with the tv in the small, twin bedroom. But overall we were very pleased with the room and our stay.

Nice Unit / Bad Building

The actual unit is very nice and the team that runs the beach service was great, which was included with the unit. The dishwasher was broken but the property manager sent someone over to fix it. Our main issue was with the building overall. The fire alarm went off several times early morning when there was no fire. The elevator was broken 2 of the 5 days we were there, the pool was always locked when it shouldn’t have been ( which didn’t actually matter because the pool heater wasn’t on in early April and the hot tub heater was broken the entire time we were there). Also the power/internet (which is controlled by the building, not in the unit) went out several times. The property manager said this was storm related, but we didn’t experience anything outside a light drizzle. There was no property manager on site and everyone was just instructed to file complaints with their respective rental companies. Without an on site property manager, I would expect these problems to continue.

Misleading photos

Overall disappointed. As a collective group, we’ve been staying in this area for 30+ years and this was the worst condo experience we’ve had. We checked in to find no wifi, microwave handle broken off , no smoke detector batteries, mildewed patio furniture that was also broken and stained indoor furniture. The master bath also had a wall that was unfinished. Floors left my babies legs black from crawling. We checked in on Saturday and couldn’t get management to do anything until Wednesday and Thursday. The in unit condo guide said we were supposed to have a router for Wifi and we didn’t. We went without service from Saturday until Wednesday when management finally gave us the buildings guest info. Don’t waste your money on this particular condo or management group. We played phone tag for days and still felt like we weren’t taken seriously. Thankfully, we did get a small refund but this place wasn’t worth the money they charged. You can find the images on google reviews of Crystal Dunes as well as Destin Getaways.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is in one of the best locations on the beach, but it is not maintained. Upon arrival floors, filthy, odor in the apartment, trash on the bathroom floor, furniture filthy, balcony furniture filthy, stained, trash on the balcony. Housekeeping notified but they never made a visit to address the problems with filth. I started cleaning the smell went away. The washer, dryer and vacuum cleaner did not work. Maintenance made a visit to repair washer and dryer, which worked for two days. In addition to dealing with the filthy environment, smell, appliances that did not work, limited linens this unit does not include beach service.

My only complaint is that the dryer didn’t work and they didn’t respond to the message about it . With 3 kiddos at the beach for a week it was inconvenient and frustrating not to have a dryer.

Great spot!

We love this area of crystal beach, it’s a great location and beach. The condo was perfect for our family of 4, though the front room that shows a set of bunk beds is now a twin trundle and didn’t fit anyone close to 6 feet or over. We ended up using that room as beach storage, lucky for us we didn’t need it. Otherwise the condo was great - there are stains on the couch but that happens. It was very quiet and all the rooms had black out curtains- helpful if you have young kids. This unit is across from the elevator but we never heard any noise. I’ll also note that there was always plenty of hot water and the air conditioning worked very well - we were very comfortable! Bring your own games/entertainment- there is a tv but otherwise the unit is very bare bones, seems to be a full time rental.

Great place to stay!

The description of this place is spot on. Located is right on the beach so no need to haul all your things to the beach. The view from the balcony is amazing during sunrise and sunsets! I will be bringing my family back to this location and condo!

Kitchen had everything that a family would need for a week long stay. Bathrooms were clean and spacious.This unit was on second floor right a cross from the elevators. Not many guests used the elevator on second floor anyway so the noise wasn’t too bad.Great view from the balcony looking down to the beach. Parking lot was clean and not too crowded.The pool was also clean. The kids went to the pool a couple times and guests were keeping social distancing which was nice.The sofa bed badly needed a new mattress. This unit was recently repaired so we ran into a few issues while staying there. First day, both vents in both bathrooms weren’t working. Hair dryer was also broken. Third day, the top panel on the front door frame came off as we opened the door. Management responded promptly when we called / emailed. All issues were fixed. In master bedroom, we could hear creaking sound from the unit above us as other guests walking around.Overall I gave this experience a 4 stars. We had stayed in a better condo last time and it was at a lower rates than this one.

Reviewer Comments: Overall we like the place, view was great however there are some areas they could work on which includes proper linens and pillows, ones we had were flat as a pancake so I went out and bought some worthy of being called a pillow (and proper sheets). Anything we used for cooking or to eat on/with needed to be properly washed as the items were dirty (left on food, grease from previous meal prep). Couch was not comfortable to sit on, well worn. Property management wasn't visible much which could have helped to contain people throwing food off the balconies which created seagull frenzy. We loved the location but for the weekly rate do prefer things to be in better condition.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect spot for our vacation. Right on the beach but still close to everything in town. Only complaint would be that the washing machine didn’t work well and we did see a couple roaches. An exterminator needs to be called. We would stay there again tho
